Really enjoyed my first experience at this store. Everyone was very helpful and gracious in helping my friend and I browse and pick out items we were interested in. Ended up making a purchase. Family run business with a total of 4 separate stores on the same street; Two side by side under this business name which the owner Chantelle started in 1998 and two that her son and daughter run under their own business names just right down the street (I think named old fashioned). The two stores under this business name are divided by brand names. These original stores have a lot more inventory than the other two stores it seemed. Chantelle, aurora and the other lady (I forgot her name) were all very friendly and welcoming and answered all my questions. I was very satisfied with my purchase. Will definitely stop by again when I am in the area! Only thing that could have been better was the tote I purchased didn't have a big enough dust cover to cover it all the way. I didn't realize this until I opened up the sealed shopping bag. So, I wish I had checked it before leaving as it would have been nice to have a dust bag that covered the entire tote... read more

Stumble upon this store while I was in Paris, and I was so glad that I checked them out. Valois Vintage has 2 stores right next to each other. One of them sells more higher end brands like Hermes, Chanel, Dior. The one next door ( I think it's called Paris Vintage) sells other designer brands like LV, GUCCI, FENDI, etc to name a few. Both stores are owned by the same family. The Paris Vintage store was founded by the most fabulous grandma Chantel. Valois Vintage is run by her daughter, and the niece Aurora works there too. I spent almost the entire afternoon there shopping, sooooo many purses and clothes! I was in bag heaven lol This place is dangerous, you can't walk out of there empty- handed, it's impossible! Aurora was so sweet, super friendly and helpful too. I'll definitely come back if I'm in Paris again. read more

I arrived early one Saturday morning to offer an Hermès shawl for sale. The young woman at the reception desk told me it was by appointment only, which wasn't mentioned on their website. She called someone who didn't even bother to come and see the shawl because she supposedly had too many appointments. What a lack of courtesy and manners! A wasted trip. As it happened, I was wearing another Hermès shawl around my neck, the label of which had come undone. Since I wasn't far away, I walked to the Hermès store where I was received with class and where the seamstresses have restored the stitching on my shawl. Ladies at Valois Vintage, you have the products that people like me bring in to keep your business going, but you don't have the class of the high-end brands whose secondhand items you sell. I'm so sad to say this, but I will never purchase from this shop again. Upon vacationing last year I went in and had a nice experience with the owner and staff. I have been a loyal customer purchasing other items via their stories and email. I asked specifically about the condition of a Ysl mini pouch displayed on their story and was told "it was a perfect full set" "no damage, wear, etc. I also asked about cost to have the bag sent. Not once did they mention I would have to pay duties given they valued the item over $800. When it got to the US, I had to pay $200 in duties. I was able to see that as an oversight and felt badly sending the bag back because of this. HOWEVER, upon unpacking the bag, the clasp was all tarnished! Additionally, they didn't send anything but the dust bag with it! Not only was it damaged, but it wasn't sent as a full set and it was meant for a gift. When I reached back out wanting to return the item, they expected me to pay shipping. I said this is no fault of mine and that I would not. I also told them I would expect my $200 duties back/a credit of some sort to be made whole from their mistake. They refused. I have been going back and forth with them and they just keep saying "we are sorry you don't like the bag, it's perfect" without even acknowledging or trying to rectify their mistake. I have seen this shop on numerous vlogs and couldn't wait to visit while in Paris over xmas holiday. it was not impressive, I'm a bag girl so the Chanel clothing line up wasn't my focus. i did not find one bag I would buy and have a few vintage pieces. it's over hyped in my OP. Ladies. and Gentlemen, do not walk but RUN to Valois!! it is like walking into the DREAM designer closet! I found basics, one of kind, vintage with tags, rare items. After two Chanel bags, 6 pairs of earrings, a belt, two necklaces, I was at my budget but could have purchased ten more items!! Very happy with all my purchases and my associate, Valerie, was perfect, she knew all the facts was so polite and not pushy. So enjoyed my visit and will be back in September. read more

This is a luxury consignment store, with 5 star service. The owner picked up wonderful pieces that fit perfectly for me. My sister and I visited this place and it was an experience! I ended up finding more precious pieces here than at the actual Chanel store. I ended up buying 2 Chanel dresses and a Chanel flap bag. My sister also bought some Chanel dresses. They have vintage items that are much better than current items (which have gone down in quality). I wish I lived closer to this place! They have Chanel, LV, St. John, among others. read more

It seems that there are terrible vintage and consignment shop experiences to be had in paris but this is NOT one. You will find absolute treasures here and an owner who can guide you because this is her passion. Beautiful items- like a museum but you can take them home and it is not as pricey as it should be. Thank you Valerie for helping me find my dream bag! I visit Valois every time I'm in Paris and I'm never disappointed. They have such a large, unique, and vetted collection of bags (+clothes, jewelry, etc). I always find something I love. Valerie helped me find an amazing vintage Chanel double flap. I've been hunting for a pre-2008 Chanel double flap but couldn't find anything good in the States. Valerie showed me THREE I loved, but I could only bring one home, and she did a great job guiding my decision. Chanel's quality isn't what it used to be so I highly recommend visiting Valois and looking for something vintage. For example, in 2008, Chanel stopped using 24k gold for hardware and started using "gold-toned" hardware. To note, Valois will offer VAT paperwork so bring your passport. The VAT rebate isn't as much as buying new, but you'll still get money back, about 8-10%. The variety, personalized customer service, is all top notch at this store.
