We just celebrated our one year anniversary and one if my favorite parts was going back through our pictures! After stalking Drew's pictures of other people's weddings for years, I knew nobody else would be good enough for ours. The pictures are absolutely incredible, everyone who sees them can't believe how beautiful they are, and the day itself was so much fun!! We also rented the photobooth which was GREAT! When I shaved off my long hair Drew did the "before and after" photos. I had recently moved so all the photographers I'd modeled for in the past were too far away to do two shoots in a week. I looked through many local photographers, saw his edgy work as a good sign and contacted him via Facebook to tell him about my idea. He was excited and gave me pricing and availability. His rates are very reasonable and we ended up shooting far longer than quoted - so I got extra bang for my bucks! When we met in person he was professional and easy going. The studio was cozy. I was definitely at ease. He listened to my ideas and added some of his own- we did many takes on lighting -each more beautiful than the last. He emailed me selected photos immediately and all the photos a few weeks later (all 2,000!). They are absolutely gorgeous. Really, his great work has brought my vanity up a notch. When I tell people I shaved my head I always show them the first photo he sent me with both versions of me edited into the same frame. They always exclaim how good I look with a shaved head. Then they realize the girl with the long hair in the picture is also me and they freak out over how cool the photo is. Long story short: Drew does great work. THE BEST! My husband and I loved working with Drew for both our engagement and wedding. His photography is spectacular and He is a pleasure to work with. Not only will you get magazine/wedding blog quality photographs (our wedding was featured in multiple blogs) but also a thoroughly professional, organized and fun photographer to work with. Drew put everyone at ease at our wedding (I got many compliments about how nice he was after the wedding). When we posted the photos everyone raved about their photos, not an easy feat with two large and very opinionated families. They really all looked fantastic too despite the high heat and humidity for early june. Everyone also loved the photobooth, which was higher quality then i've seen at other weddings and looked great. We got to see those photos right away too, which was a fun bonus as we waited to see the actual wedding photos. Drew went above and beyond to make sure we got every shot we wanted even if it meant climbing to a precarious height or traipsing through buggy woods and brush. I keep realizing what a treasure Drew is as I hear horror stories from my friend's weddings and the million things that went wrong. My husband and I got married on May 19, 2017 and used Drew Noel as our photographer. We chose him for his artistic and candid style. The only reason we waited so long to review him wais because I told my husband that I wanted to wait 6 months to let our emotions subside before we reviewed our vendors. This was a flat out lie. I waited until now because I had been planning to give my husband a boudoir album, shot by Drew on the morning of my wedding, on his birthday at the end of September. I wanted to make sure that my entire experience with Drew was included in this (probably super long) review. Not only is Drew an incredibly talented photographer and true artist, but he is also a lovely person and a pleasure to work with. His assistant was also fabulous and they were very in sync. I never had any experience shooting for a boudoir album but. Drew gave me totally amazing and professional verbal guidance throughout. He was polite, kind, and patient. When I worked with him to create my album, he was very easy to communicate with and recommended some of the most amazing shots to use, all while listening to my opinion. It was a team effort. Drew also posted all of the photos he took that morning to a private site so that we could download every single one (and he took oh so many!!!). My husband LOVED his present, to say the least, and this album and those photos are images that my husband can have forever. Now, on to the wedding! Although the wedding day is awfully stressful, Drew was calm and collected and was a comfort to have around. He never stopped shooting the entire morning. He got every photo we could have wanted and more. During the reception, he captured everyone at least once, which we were delighted about. Unless he needed to speak to us to get a specific photo, we hardly saw him, as though he and his assistant were flies on the wall. They were perfect. When we walked around the property with them, the four of us, Drew took some of the most incredible photos we have ever seen, and feel so blessed to be the focus of them. The thing that we liked most about Drew is that everything about him was genuine. Nothing seemed forced. He was very passionate about what he was doing and enjoyed being there, and that came through in his work and how he interacted with us and our guests. We spent more time with him than any other vendor or guest on our wedding day and we have zero regrets. IIf it isn't clear, Drew was by far our favorite vendor and we are so lucky to have hired him. How do I begin to write our review of our absolute favorite vendor from our wedding? I would imagine if you are looking at this review you've already seen one of Drew's pictures and if that's the case, you may be doing what I did which was comparing every other photographer to Drew. I was actually referred to Drew by a close friend of ours whose brother used Drew for his wedding. From the moment I saw one of their pictures I was done. Then came my first call with Drew... to say that you just know when you find a spouse is heard of but when you find your wedding photographer probably not as much - well I just knew. I spoke to Drew on the phone and felt like I was talking to one of my friends. He was down to earth, laid back and easy going. He answered my hundreds of emails (literally hundreds) in record time, which is extremely important, and followed through on everything he said he had to offer. To be 100% honest, my husband and I were hooked on Drew and his work right from the start, however, his packages were more than our original photographer and videographer budget combined. We knew before we got engaged that, to me, photography was the most important vendor - it was our photographer's pictures that would allow us to relive our wedding forever. After meeting with Drew, we tried our best to consider other (cheaper) photographers but they just didn't compare. Drew's name came up at least once a day for two weeks straight as we continued figuring out what to do. And then we stopped fighting it and decided to book Drew. As Drew captured our engagement shoot, we knew without a doubt that we had made the right decision. During the photo shoot we turned to each other and confirmed that he was worth every penny and that we'd make the same decision in a heartbeat and even pay more if we had to. Drew's such a talented and passionate photographer whose love for the art shines through in each and every picture that he takes. To say he's dedicated to his couples is an understatement... at our wedding he literally took off his shoes and socks, rolled up his pants and climbed into a fountain to capture the perfect picture. He's absolutely incredible at what he does and we plan to have him capture our family's lives for years to come. Our wedding was just the start for us.
