Summary: Highly recommend Maria and her girls! They are really the full package when it comes to wedding planning!! They are personable, professional, accommodating and so easy to work with!! They communicate well in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and probably other Chinese dialects. All around great company to work with and we saved SO much money through them. My husband and I got married in March 2019. I can't remember when we first contacted One Stop, most likely about 9 months to a year before our wedding date. Our package through the agency included: -Pre-wedding photoshoot (trial hair and makeup included) -Day of photography and videography (10 hrs) -2 Wedding photo albums -USB with all photos, highlight video, and full wedding video -One huge framed photo and one scroll photo -Limousine rental (8 hrs) -Day of Hair and makeup for bride, bridesmaids, and mother of bride (paid extra for them to come to our hotel in Flushing instead of traveling to their studio in Brooklyn because it was more convenient for us) -Tuxedo rentals for groom and 4 groomsmen (fittings included) -Traditional Chinese quai po rental (fitting included) This package was tailored to our needs. If I knew they had wedding and bridesmaid dresses to rent, I definitely would have taken advantage before buying my own dress. They also offer dresses for the mothers of bride and groom, but neither of our mothers took advantage of that. Photography: Their photographer, Gary was easy to work with. His work is good overall, he took some great photos but I wouldn't say they were the best I've ever seen. Lucky for us, photography isn't too important for us so his photos met our needs. Hair & makeup: Maria worked on my hair and makeup for both the pre-wedding shoot and day of. She did a great job with me. I loved my hair and makeup, felt it really matched my style and what I was looking for. My bridesmaids loved their hair but they weren't a fan of their makeup by one of the girls. They said the one makeup artist was not listening to what they wanted. One Stop was very easy to work with and we were able to tailor the wedding package to our needs at a reasonable price. There were times when they informed us of suggested tips for specific services (hair, makeup, photographer, videographer, limo driver) which was pricey and an addition to our contract price. We probably paid about an extra $570 in tips total. We weren't a fan of that but I guess we can't complain because we're already saving a lot on the package deal (compared to having to pay for all of the above separately!) Maria and her staff communicated through email primarily. Whenever I needed them, it was great to know that I could just call them and they were able to help me right away. Highly recommend the seamstress here! Bought my wedding dress from an upscale boutique who wanted to charge me $1200 for basic alterations. One stop charged me a significant amount less and they even added a slit to my dress which was way more work then anticipated. My sister and my mom both came here to get there dresses altered and I came back again to get my veil altered. They do great work especially for what they charge. Highly recommend. read more

I got married this past November and began dealing with one stop in Sept. I can't begin to tell u how great it was having them. For a rented wedding dress, 3 bridesmaids dresses, hair, makeup for all of them, tuxedo for my husband and his 3 men, under 3k. Ann the dress lady was super sweet and adorable, loved her. Maria the manager did my makeup and hair, i was amazingly shocked. I'm hard to please, but i def did a trial before. Maria was sweet and patient with me, even the day of I became a slight hard to please bride. Wedding dress selection is limited, oh well, your paying $300+ to rent a dress that gets hemmed and fixed to your body for a day. I personally had no desire to keep it anyhows. The makeup was beautiful, i did airbrush and had a friend do touch ups throught the night (hair as well), i can sweat alot, and danced alot that night. The girls hair and makeup stayed all night, and they loved it. Regarding tipping, they recommend it. Not like a ton, like $25 a girl, big whoop. Your saving so much as it is, stop complaining. First let me start by saying that One Stop Studio is a rip off. Be aware that they force you to tip the photographer and the staff according to the amount they want you to pay, (you should tip whatever the amount you feel is good, correct? - well it doesn't apply for one stop) you will end up spending more but they fool you with their "cheap" package they offer. They don't have many dresses to pick either, very limited options for guys as well. Also they dont let you pick the photographer and videographer for the day of your wedding, they give you a random freelance guy and let met tell you, it is not the best either. they just want your money at the end of the day. They dont care if they are providing you with a professional photographer. I requested for the same photographer that did my photoshoot and they told me that on the day of my wedding it was going to be the same photographer and to my surprise a bunch of random freelance photographer was assigned to all the brides on the wedding day. The photoshoot photographer attitude can be very rude, he lost his patient at times instead of making the customer comfortable, he will make fun of you and give you a face of WTF are you doing? You also have to pick the make up artist for the day of your wedding, because it gets busy and you will see all these bride on the same position as you. Guess what? At the end, you also have to tip everyone in the studio, including the receptionist and it have to be according to the amount they request you to tip them. I do not recommend this studio! read more

One Stop Wedding Studio was heaven-sent! I first got to know Maria and Anne when I was shopping for bridesmaid dresses. She ensured that all my bridesmaid dresses were properly fitted and delivered on time. Also, I needed a reception gown and ended up renting a beautiful Mori Lee gown from them at such great price! I had already purchased my ceremony gown when I met Maria, but after my final fitting with the other dress shop, I was very unhappy with their work and had only 5 days to correct the mistakes on my gown, so I ran to Maria and her seamstress Yuki and they fixed my gown so beautifully. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! I've shopped around manhattan//brooklyn for the perfect bridal shop to plan my wedding and this shop def was THE ONE! This shop is nice and smaller than other BUT thats what i liked about it. Felt more private unlike the other shops with a million other brides they had to take care of and would brush you off. Maria and ANN were EXTREMELY NICE and have LOTSSS of patience. Their package deals were amazing! And they are very accomodating. I always popped in and out the shop throughout the 8 months and they never had an issue with me not making an appt First. Making an appt would be ideal but I knew it was less busy on weekdays so I'd just pop in whenever I was around the neighborhood. I would try on tons of dresses and not once did I feel they were annoyed or aggravated. They would even pick out more dresses and encourage me to try them on. They are very attentive! ANN took care of me and my bridal party for all the fittings And Maria did my hair and makeup. MARIA IS AMAZING!!! I WISH MY HAIR STYLE WAS PERMANENT! I LOVED IT SO MUCH! Kept telling her I'm keeping it on for a week. I requested for her to do My hair on my wedding day. I also hired someone to do my hair and makeup during the banquet and to my surprise MARIA came to take care of me during my banquet! I was suprised because as a boss I wouldn't expect her to work later esp since she has tons of staff she can just assign for the night. Once I knew she was coming a huge chunk of stress was off my shoulders cause I knew with her being there I had nothing to worry about. She was VERY ATTENTIVE and helped me throughout my wedding from Beginning to end, making sure everything was good from head to toe( not just only in the bridal suite, even outside of that room if something was off she would come to me and fix it ). We chose One stop wedding after meeting with Maria she is like our wedding consultation. She was absolutely wonderful and is definitely one of the main reasons we chose one stop wedding. My husband is really picky man. When we visiting some of wedding place. He must asking for try on Tuxedo. Because he had a bad experience from other wedding stores, he was a groomsman in 4th time. Maria she was be really patient helpful and take us to all the department and explain to me and my family's really details. New One Stop Wedding hosted the wedding for my BFF in May and I was one of the bridesmaids. Excellent Customer Service! The girl helping us called Anne. We have difficulty in making decision on bridesmaid dresses. (u know girls...LOL) She's super patient and she allowed us to try on different styles. She offered professional advice by letting us know the most suitable styles instead of pushing us to get the more expensive one. The make-up artist's awesome too. (I forgot to ask her name). She was very focused and she paid attention to very small details. My make-up finish was natural and charming, I love that! I do see that there is a comment about "forcing to tip". Well, it didn't happen on me. The make-up artist didn't ask me for tip proactively and no one was telling me how much I should pay. I was happy with my makeup and I truly believe it is worth tipping.
