She even offered some excellent recommendations on things I should do to protect myself: take photos of the car before and after, as well as taking a picture of the document they give you on return of the vehicle and ideally getting the name and picture of the person you return the car to. On the whole I have had good experiences with Allstate. I have them for our car and home. They have been very helpful the times I have had to file claims and did not drag out paying. Their roadside assistance is also very good, the wait times are generally very short and the technology they use for assistance is also good and works well. I like that I don't have to download an app in order to get the roadside assistance.

I've been a construction lender for over 20 years and know that the job of an insurance company is to collect premiums and not pay claims. We had a very tricky situation with mold behind the walls in the bathroom. From Day 1, Daniel was on the case, set his contract in place with us and went to work. After his inspection, he prepared an extremely detailed time and materials budget to submit to the insurance company and stayed on top of them. They of course denied the claim and Daniel rebutted with specific provisions in the mold section which after time, had the insurance company overturn their denial and paid 100% of the Daniel's estimate, without discounting any of the Daniels numbers. After the check came, Daniel arranged for the signature of the mortgage company and kept things smooth and communication flowing.
