This park is located off…read moreof Bishop Hollow Rd, and at the corner of Bishop Hollow and Ellis Ave. Features include: Baseball / Softball Diamonds Basketball Court Dog Park Lacrosse Facilities Playground Soccer Field Synthetic Turf Field Walking Trail Playground This park comprises all the land surrounding the township building / police dept / library. The ball fields and fieldhouse have separate entrances up the hill from the administration offices. The dog park is across Ellis Ave, along Ellis Ave. The female ball fields are across Bishop Hollow, on the side opposite all of the rest of the park. Soccer fields are behind the library off of Ellis Ave. Playground is hard to find; it is in way back corner behind soccer field. There are these weird "paths" back there, like someone had extra asphalt and dumped it out as far as they could go to make a halfazz sidewalk. It's more of a liability than an asset. Don't let your kids walk there because they'll trip. (Luckily, I did not learn the hard way.) Playground is a little worn, but served its purpose. Playstructure with 3 slides, "rope bridge" which was really made of metal, corkscrew fireman pole, bouncy rides, dino figure to climb on, and swings. The walking path extends from Bishop Hollow Rd (in dog park across from Library), down Ellis Ave, across Ellis past the soccer field, up past playground, and back behind ball fields, to wrap around between them to ball field parking lot. Basketball courts are right next to Library, and are SUPER POPULAR in the summer, so get there early if you wanna turn.

They say it's two miles of walking trails but I couldn't find much of trail at all, let alone two…read moremiles worth. I can see this as being a nice place to take kids to play on the playground or have a picnic. It looked like the back portion of the park was marshy and flooded so beware of that. The pond looked a little dirty, but there was someone fishing so maybe there's some catchable fish in there. Overall okay. Not the most thrilling park but it serves a purpose.

When I visited they were packed with visitors for a Saturday soccer game. Cars lined the drive, overflowed onto the grass, everywhere. Still, I was able to get a spot in the parking lot for the playground, which was really nice and considerate of the soccer people, because I would not have been able to visit if I had to lug my toddler from a spot on the lawn of the other side of the park. This park is amazingly clean for the volume of visitors, and everyone was polite and respectful, except for one older boy on the swings at the playground who dropped the f-bomb (and then looked at me to see if I would yell at him for it, LOL). Grrrrr. The playstructure is standard, and as I've recently seen by exploring all this twp's parks, similar to the structures at the other twp playgrounds. They got some bargain on these climb-on dinosaurs because they're roaring from all corners of the township. My son loves to pat them and roar, so they're cool with me! This isn't a park for hiking or other exercise, but for the league sports, and playground, it's a-okay!

I came here for a hike yesterday on the Yellow Trail and it was beautiful! This time of year…read moreeverything is green and the forest is full. The wildlife are out and about creating a great sound to complete the scene. The Yellow Trail is the longest in the park (about 7.5 out and back) and takes you through the woods and crosses the paved path a couple times. The trail has a few small hills in it that make the hike a little more interesting and fun. In some parts the trail is narrow and the trees are hanging over, but it is nothing unmanageable. The trails are marked throughout the park, but we did find that these markings could have been improved with more arrows when two trails intersected. The best method for making sure you stay on the right trail is to look at the color markings on the trees. However, the marked trees may be several yards down the path. Just keep walking until you see the marking and then turn around if you need to. I would definitely recommend checking out Ridley State Park for a hike, or even a picnic, as there were plenty of areas to do so. I would love to come back and see other areas of the park or even do the same hike again!

A decent parking sized parking lot around the pavilion\kids playground area and a short walk to the soccer\baseball\softball fields. There is bleacher seating around the baseball fields, I'm not sure about the soccer field. You can actually rent out the fields here or the pavilion at amazingly cheap rates! Our dreams came true at the Willows thanks to the Peachtree staff! Both my wife and I have worked…read morein the wedding industry, so we know exactly what it looks like behind the scenes. Though we were nervous at first about there being one exclusive caterer and an assigned day-of coordinator, everything turned out wonderfully. The Space: The Willows is simply a gorgeous setting at every turn - each room, the landscaping, the grounds. Thankfully we were able to pull off Plan A, getting married in the courtyard, but it was extremely important to us that the backup plan be just as beautiful, and it is! Though we're grateful we didn't have to use it for the ceremony, the Solarium being empty meant we were able to get ready there with tons of natural light and beautiful tile. I loved the variety of spaces we were able to use for portraits and family photos. The views, and the drive in, really set the tone. The Food: Food was my wife's number one most important line item when it came to our wedding, especially having been served less than ideal meals as vendors and seeing the same things over and over. Multiple reviews of Peachtree told us what we needed to know, and we were confident about the menu options. During the tasting, we were a little thrown off because there weren't many items that we loved, but our coordinator reminded us that they're choosing things to present that you wouldn't have necessarily chosen on your own. Our wedding day food was truly unreal, hands down the best wedding food I've had. All our guests were RAVING about it, too. The Staff: We can't say enough good things about the staff at Peachtree/the Willows. We got so lucky to have the team we did, who told us repeatedly that we had amazing guests and the vibes were high. Namely, George, Karen, and Steph made our big day possible. At the end of the night, our hotel shuttle forgot about us, so my wife and I also were able to chat more with the staff, and they genuinely all seemed so happy to be with us. This was absolutely a highlight of our day. We couldn't be more grateful to have found the Willows!

It also holds a special place in my heart because my husband proposed to me here back in 2020. It was such a magical day and I will remember it for the rest of my life (sorry for the cheesiness). You can tell the caretakers for this park put a lot of time into it. This is basically a bunch of…read morewoods trails, great for walking (the trails are a little soft so I wouldn't recommend bikes or wheeled anythings). They are great for runners or walkers. The paths are mostly all neatly trimmed in the warm months, with fresh mulch on the walkways. Some of the paths weren't trimmed recently, and it limited our walk because of ticks and possible poison ivy. But the ones under the majestic tall pines looked beautiful, and were very pleasant to walk. In the winter, these are great exercise in the snow (x-country skiing, snowshoeing or walking in some good boots). The entrance to the Upper Providence Park area is directly across from Rosemary Lane, off N. Ridley Creek Rd (the stretch between Rose Tree Rd and Kirk Lane). The areas near the creek get very muddy, so I don't recommend for certain dogs, or very young children. If you come prepared for mud you'll be fine. There are some neat cinder-blocks sunk into the swamp to make a stepping path across it to the solid ground on the other side (however, this area gets muddy often, so mud shoes would be recommended). The trails connect to the neighboring Louis W. Scott Memorial Park, and I am not sure if they are maintained by the same group(s) or not? The Louis W. Scott Memorial Park is an open field, with the ruins of a stone building beside it. The stone area seems to attract litterers, which is not pretty, and not sanitary or safe for children or dogs. Wish they kept that up better, but elsewhere it is clean and well-kept.
