Both guides gave us plenty of tips on where to try to fish. Badger even cooked us all lunch with the freshly caught salmon. My boyfriend and I both caught our limit of sockeye salmons for the day. We went out of Seward on the 4th week of June for Silver Salmon in resurrection bay. It was a limited load to a maximum of 5 anglers. We happened to be the only two on that trip. Our guide's name was Mark he was very experienced a knowledgeable about fishing. He provided excellent service and complimentary fish cleaning. We both caught our limits after even after losing four silvers while reeling them in which was completely our fault. We also caught two pink salmon and we caught over a dozen Pollocks which were all released. Would highly recommend them to anybody.

Cute little aging park that is likely only frequented by locals. There's picnic tables, fire…read morerings, pit toilets and a picnic pavilion. There's a short easy trail around part of the small lake (part of the lake has private homes.) Mosquitos are monstrous, the stocked trout clearly have plenty to eat. Bring bug spray! There's no boat launch, but the walk from the free parking to the shore is about .2 miles down hill, so you could easily carry a lightweight kayak if you're inclined. Its very serene here and there's lots of nature trees. This location is best enjoyed by small motorless watercraft.
