I really liked the energy that the instructor gave us as well as to the kids. I really thought it was going to be a boring learning class. BUT it was not she made it fun they played Simon says while riding the horses! They had student's from the farm assisting my kids and it was great because some of my kids were a little . He matched her with the sweetest trainer Kelli who took the time to decorate the, already beautiful, horse's mane with roses and put a unicorn horn on his bridle. Kelli engaged my niece throughout the entire 45 min lesson with different games. The lesson ended with the horse "taking a bow." After the lesson we sipped on hot chocolate and Kelli took us on a tour of the beautiful property to see the other horses, goats and chickens. It was a magical experience, and one Jessie will remember forever!

I have boarded my horse at Long Grove Farms for 3 years and George has received the best care. The…read morelarge stalls and deep bedding have cured the rubs he had at a previous facility. The stall and arena are heated in the winter and have good cross ventilation in the summer. The facility and grounds are meticulously maintained and the arenas are perfectly groomed. The hunt field is manicured for safety and is a blast to ride in in the summer! The owners live on site. I credit Shari with the help of Dr. Hanover and Dr. Henry for saving my horse's life 3 years ago. When he arrived he was on antibiotics for a condition that baffled a previous vet and trainer for about 8 months prior to moving to Long Grove. Shari called me and the vet at 9 pm on a Sunday when he appeared to have a "headache". She was right, he did. Ct scan showed a mass in his sinus. He would have died a slow death if I had not moved to Long Grove Farms -she pays attention to her horses and riders. I am the happiest I have ever been and don't worry about him being in his stall even on a rainy day if I don't make it out.
