Bar service was great. Mason was great!! The Italian Stallion was delicious. Had tomato basil soup and grilled cheese. Partner had the Rueben which was very good too!! Ambiance was fun!

We stopped on a road trip from Colorado. Late for lunch, early for dinner. Right around 3pm. Staff were friendly, service was quick. I had the Jalapeño Cream Ale, it was tasty if a little too light. The seasonal Strawberry Salad with chicken was terrific. My friend had the BLT and she loved it. We shared Bavarian Pretzel bites first, sooo good. I liked the eclectic decor.

Excellent food and service, great craft beer, the Don Juan Mexican corn dip, great, double BLT awesome. Lava cake to die for! You won't be disappointed!

Stumbled across this place for lunch - was nice that we were immediately seated and tended to. We ordered a spinach artichoke dip and two steak salads. The spinach artichoke dip never came out sadly. The place was not packed, but our waitress was covering a large area so that might be why it wasn't noticed. The salads came out and only had 4 pieces of steak each, which was disappointing for a $19 salad. The steak was seasoned well and the salads were good, but we wished they had more protein.

The Infusion Vanilla Bean Blonde, all of my favorites in one glass!

While I'm from Denver I always make a stop at Driftwood when traveling through or staying in Nebraska. Great food selections, all burgers are great, my favorite is the Lonesome Dove, BBQ sauce, bacon, cheese and an onion ring, how can you go wrong with that. They have an amazing selection of bottled and drift beer as well as some local crafts. My favorite is the Infusion Vanilla Bean Blonde, I always refill my growler with this one. Second is the Jalapeño Cream Ale! They have live music on weekends and it's always a nice treat. Service is always great, the kitchen closes a bit early but maybe folks in Ogallala go to bed early anyway. They are close to the main highway and open for lunch, if you are passing through I highly recommend stopping by Driftwood.

This restaurant was genuinely incredible. The ambience, light fixtures, and mood was great. Our…read moreserver, Kayla, was very professional, never let our drinks get empty, and had great recommendations. We got the Brussel Sprouts for an app. They had a delicious sauce and they were cooked to perfection. The French Dip was the real star of the show. The meat was so tender and was probably the best French dip I ever had. The sweet potato fries come with a marshmallow/cinnamon dipping sauce that is very good if you like your sweets. We polished off dinner with the salted caramel lava cake. It was delightful. It was so refreshing to be surprised by how wonderful this restaurant was and how nice the employees were. I can't wait to come back someday

We were driving across country and decided to pull over in North Platte for the evening. I looked…read morefor a restaurant recommendation and found The Cedar Room. We walked in and there are two large rooms, one dining and one bar/dining area. There is a small bar at the far end that sits around 6 or seven people. We were sat near the window and our server was Penny who was excellent. Penny constantly checked in with us and we were never left wait for service. When it came to ordering wine/cocktails, we were immediately put off by the price of wine. The bottles have an approximate 75% mark up on retail. Way overpriced. You don't see these prices even in the most expensive of steakhouses in my opinion. A glass of wine was the price of a bottle at retail. We elected to go with cocktails. For appetizers, we ordered the Wild Mushroom Brie & Ciabatta. $19 Seared Brie Cheese, brandy glazed belle mushrooms, balsamic reduction, fig chutney; served with Ciabatta toast points. This was good. Cowboy Calamari. $19 Breaded Flat iron sirloin steak bites, fried; served with gravy. I was so looking forward to these but I couldn't even taste the meat.....at all! They were so overly breaded and the steak cut so thin that we felt we were just eating the breading. The gravy was tasty but we couldn't finish the steak bites as we just didn't taste any steak. We split a Cedar Room Wedge. $16 Iceberg, bacon bits, tomatoes, cucumbers, blue cheese crumbles; served with dressing of choice. They split it on two plates and basically did a deconstructed salad. It was fine. After not having a great experience with the food and prices of their wine, we elected to leave and skip the dinner. Although we loved our server Penny and it was a cute establishment, we probably would not return.
