I had a glass after my tasting. Our bartender was on his own for tastings & front cash register bottle shop & he was very kind & informative. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here & the coolness factor of the civil war era wine cellar.

The staff was friendly, the place was clean, we both tried a flight each of beer/wine. I loved that you could choose both wine and beer on the same flight, as Im not as big of a wine drinker anymore. They also had a nice variety of dark beer (the only kinds I like). They also had a minimal but sufficient food menu to choose from. I also love the historic building this establishment is located in, as it has so much character! We ordered our food, flights, and also purchased a couple of bottles to go. Our waitress also informed us that they have an open patio in the summer time, which we are looking forward to experiencing once its warmer outside.

I paid $14 for a bottle of their Concord wine. It was a sweet, full-bodied red wine, and I really enjoyed its fruity finish. I feel interested in buying more of their wines in the future. The chocolate, blackberry, peach, almond, cherry, apple, orange, plum, and others sound so tasty. The wines are on the sweeter side.

It came with crackers and a knife/board set up. My only critique for this place is the fact that there was zero music and felt pretty silent. A few notes: -This location also had cans of beer and cans of cider for purchase. -you cannot see the lake from the winery -try the port wine!
