Had such a great experience! Super friendly staff, she had great recommendations based on my tastes and my first visit to the winery. I wanted all reds, and our server delivered. They don't have food made to order, but we were able to pick a pack of pepperoni, and a wedge of Havarti cheese from their refrigerator to go with our wine. It came with crackers and a knife/board set up. My only critique for this place is the fact that there was zero music and felt pretty silent. Im NOT a wine drinker BUT Im hooked on Mazza's Catwaba and Niagara . Use to fish and vacation there and did a tour of their winery in North East. PA Sampled many wines for the-hell-of-it and thats how I got hooked for life . Soooo, I drive 3 hrs once a year to buy a 12 bottle case . My friends and I took a weekend trip up to Erie and Mazza was the first winery we tried. We were the only people in there as it was still morning on a Friday. It took us a few moments to find someone working, but once we did, she (Christina) treated us like gold! It was my friend's 40th birthday the day before and Christina made her feel extremely special and took great care of her. She even graciously took some pictures of the 3 of us. I got the bare bones flight and my favorite out of the four was the bare bones white. We didn't check out the outdoor space as we were trying to get moving to the next location but the inside was nice and open. read more

There were two girls working the service areas when we arrived. Between the two of them, they took great care of us. They were very informative in explaining the policies with Covid 19. The space was set up perfect for social distancing and we noticed the employees wiping things down regularly while we were there. We purchased a few bottles to go as well. Absolutely amazing!!! The wine is delicious and the staff is so friendly. I'm coming from Staten Island NY and this is the place to go if you want a nice wine flight. We stopped by on a Friday evening for wine tasting. Christina provided excellent service and we had a great time chatting with her. Of all the wines, we enjoyed the Pinot Grigio and the Cabernet Franc the best. We also got to try Port and Sherry. Great experience! Will be back. read more

Second stop on our wine tour. Mel greeted us at arrival. She's a cute Australian with a fun personality. The wines we tasted: Chardonnay Sangiovese Nebbiolo Riesling Crystals of Chambourcin--better of two Crystals of Steuben We purchased a cork container gift for some friends as well as a couple bottles of Sangiovese and a bottle of the Nebbiolo. Overall, it is not a bad winery. Their sampling room and shop is on the second floor, so it does not appear to be handicap accessible, but they may have an elevator in some location that I did not notice. It may be a good idea to call ahead to see how they can meet your needs if you need assistance in reaching the second floor. However, I am going to copy and paste my statement about their friends just down the road about charging for sampling: I can certainly see why they would do this, especially if people want to come in and sample wine with no intention of buying anything. However, I had the full intention of buying at least one bottle of wine (which I did). Perhaps what they can do is refund that dollar when you purchase a bottle of wine. After all, I didn't know which wines of theirs that I would like when I showed up. However, if I decided to leave without buying anything, they can certainly keep my dollar. I'm no fan of it, but they have to do what they feel they have to do. We bought wine and such, but still, feeling like they nickel and dime you is not a good feeling to have when you leave a business. read more

Stopped here on our wine tour with our party bus and they were extremely rude and not accommodating despite the fact that we called ahead of time to notify them of our large group. A women clapped in my face and told us we were too overwhelming for their trainee. Man at the door did not say hello. Mazza wineries is gorgeous on the outside and inside. Tasting is reasonably priced - 50 cents per taste. The tasting experience isn't great. They have a lot of wines and they are organized in no particular order. You basically have to pick all of your tastings then order them yourself into dry to sweet. There's no paper to take notes on. We also received no info on the wines we were tasting. Was a nice one-time experience. read more
