I've been going here for about 5 years. The staff in the office are very nice and very helpful. All the work I have had done is flawless and I was really scared at this next appointment. I needed to have a tooth pulled they have to drill into my gum line so they can put a screw in and a tooth I was scared as shit I couldn't even sleep. This is from somebody who's been hit by a car before I fear the dentist more than that. Bottom line is I was amazed It was a little uncomfortable having it done but it didn't hurt at all and when I got home I was so paranoid that I was going to have such severe pain and bleeding there was a little bleeding but no pain at all I was shocked. The dentist and his assistant work extremely top-notch doctors you may think a place called drill dental may not be up-to-date cuz of the name or it's not a corporate entity but they have every available technology any top dentist office would. From rotating x-rays to every technology available. Every doctor I ever use there they have a couple of doctors were excellent professional just great what they do. Believe me I'm not getting paid for this I'm just thrilled at the results I was so afraid of being bloody and pain and none of that happened that's because of the skill of the dentist. A lot of dentist could be sloppy not that professional but the dentists are great overly professional and extremely skilled at what they do. If I had a child or an elderly parent or anybody I would definitely recommend this place. Like I said the reason why I'm so complimentary is because I could not believe the several times I had worked on there was no pain after That's due to the skill of the dentist. I am very disappointed with Drill Dental Bar . I was told I needed a tooth extracted after my cleaning and gave a deposit of 650.00 which was the minimum they would take . Unfortunately, I had an accident after this where I broke my femur and arm and placed on a medication ( Eventyl) for bone strengthening. It also has a contraindication of potential to cause jaw necrosis. Upon my visit to the dentist he wrote a letter explaining the treatment plan and explained why he would not remove the tooth because of the medication I am on . I called and asked for a refund if my $650. and was told I needed a letter from the physician who prescribed the medication. I obtained that letter. I sent the Drill Bar Management that letter and it's been months since they have responded. I cannot describe how uncomfortable it is to call for money I'm owed and not be able to receive it . It is also bad business as I will not be on this medicine forever and need a lot of work . I have no trust in this office. Any feedback on how to retrieve my money is appreciated. read more

Edit to respond to business: another practice prescribed antibiotics, and every day since then it's been getting better. DONT GO HERE! They will take a small issue and turn it into an expensive surgical procedure. Second edit a week later: the issue is completely resolved after a weeks course of amoxicillin prescribed by a real dentist. I am so disappointed to have spent $100 here and disappointed to have begged them to for the care that I needed only to be dismissed and laughed at before being turned away. Please I am begging you if you see this do not go here, they are here to make money and nothing else. After a few weeks I am still so disappointed to have been one of their victims. I would give Drill Dental zero stars if I could. I paid $95 just to sit in a chair for barely ten minutes, with the dentist spending maybe two minutes in the room--just long enough to completely dismiss my concerns, make careless assumptions about my dental history, and push an expensive treatment. Despite explaining that my issue had previously been resolved with antibiotics, the dentist refused to consider it and didn't bother to ask about my history. Instead, he assumed I still had wisdom teeth (which were removed years ago) and recommended a $900 procedure on the spot! The kicker? They took x-rays and then didn't even look at them. This place clearly just wants to collect your money without providing anything close to thorough or compassionate care. I had an extremely disappointing experience at Drill Dental office, characterized by unethical and possibly fraudulent billing practices, as well as unprofessional behavior from the staff. On April 4th, I visited Dr. Gruenberg due to severe pain in tooth #3, which was diagnosed as a root canal infection. Despite providing dual MetLife insurance coverage (mine and my wife's), the office insisted on a $1,200 deposit upfront, assuring me that any overpayment would be refunded after insurance payments were processed. The total bill came to $2,308, of which both insurance plans paid a combined $1,988 ($901 + $1,087). This meant I was entitled to an $880 refund from my deposit. However, office coordinator Kelly Cedano repeatedly misled me about the status of my refund--initially claiming it would be mailed (it never arrived), then later denying a refund was owed altogether, and finally threatening to call the police when I continued to follow up. In addition to these billing issues, the quality of dental work was mediocre; I still experience discomfort in the treated tooth, likely due to inadequate cleaning during the root canal procedure. I strongly advise avoiding this office and caution against making any upfront payments, as my experience suggests they may attempt to withhold refunds and resort to intimidation tactics. read more

I had a bad experience and wish I had read these reviews prior to going. I was only seeking a consultation to discuss pricing for a tooth extraction and implant. I provided my own X-rays from a previous dentist prior to the appointment. I had absolutely no services done. He talked to me for 3 minutes, AT MOST. I was shown an overly expensive treatment plan that I politely declined. 3 weeks later, I receive a claim detail from my insurance for $470. Are you kidding me? I have not received any bill from the office prior to seeing the insurance claim, and the claim was submitted 10 days after my visit. There still has not been any communication from the dental office directly. I was assured that there were no charges for my consult. I visited this dental office with my girlfriend as new patients for X-rays and a cleaning. To my surprise, I was told I had four cavities, needed a deep cleaning, and that fixing a chipped tooth would cost over $250 out of pocket. My girlfriend was informed she had six cavities, despite both of us never having had a cavity before. I found the doctor to be unengaging and not very helpful in explaining the necessary treatments. Instead, I received a confusing breakdown of costs without a clear understanding of the issues. Ultimately, I opted for just the deep cleaning, feeling uncertain about the cavities and put off by the high cost of the tooth repair. A few months later, I sought a second opinion from another dentist. To my relief, I discovered I had zero cavities, the tooth repair would only cost $150, and I didn't need a deep cleaning at all. Edit - on January 3 at 5:56pm Dr. Gruenberg called my cell and threatened legal action due to my review. I want to clarify my review does not speak to the quality or competency of the dentists. Dr. Gruenberg said since he refunded $300 due to the miscommunication, he thought I would "go away". He reminded me I signed a bunch of consents that I didn't read (his words). Yes - I consented to the treatment, but I was unhappy about how everything was handled. And now I'm even more upset after this distressing phone call. Yelp is for community members to give their feedback on business they've worked with. I was not happy with my experience and that is detailed in my initial review with facts on what happened. But I have to remove another star because I've never had a business owner call me personally and threaten legal action. I came in for a regular cleaning, and without my knowledge, was upsold to a "deep cleaning" without being told that it cost significantly more and was not covered by my insurance. I was due for a scaling treatment/deep cleaning, but their way of "selling it" to me felt extremely deceitful. Typically, providers that care about patients will let you know all of your options and let you make a decision. The way everything about prices, what my insurance covers, etc. was explained very unclear. Having said that, my hygienist and Kelley were a pleasure. Dr. Gruenberg saw me for about 45 seconds, where he poked fun of my choice of night guard, gave me no true medical advice, and proceeded to charge me an arm and a leg with no warning. I asked Dr. Alex, administrators and Ksenia to send me documents about my treatment, which they did not give me after the services were provided (documents about the services provided, confirmation of payment, examination results, X-ray, iTero scan). I asked you to send me information about the laboratory where they made crowns for me, licenses and certificates. You sent me a message that within 30 days a lawyer will prepare this information for me. This information is provided immediately to clients in the clinics. You installed crowns on my teeth. I feel uncomfortable. My tongue hurts because it is constantly injured due to the crowns on 2 teeth that you installed. Dr. Alex installed 2 crowns on my old fillings. Which is very bad. Initially, I expected that my fillings would be changed and crowns installed. But Dr. Alex didn't do that. You cleaned my teeth. Afterwards it turned out that I needed to fill the 5th tooth. You provided several services for which I paid. As Ksenia, an employee of your clinic told me, my teeth cleaning was done for free. I didn't ask you to clean my teeth for free. After brushing my teeth, I immediately said that I didn't feel any difference. Natalya, an employee at the clinic, told me that they had done a deep cleaning of my teeth. And she said that it cannot be that I continue to feel the presence of stones on my lower teeth. Also, employee Ksenia informed me that they did a deep cleaning of my teeth. You didn't give me a deep cleaning of my teeth. I know what deep teeth cleaning is. I have had deep teeth cleanings done many times before. I know the result after deep teeth cleaning. Several times I asked questions that bothered me after installing crowns and treating the 5th tooth. I refused to install a crown on the 5th tooth after filling. It was a living tooth and I did not experience acute pain before treating it. Employee Ksenia wrote to me that the clinic would call me back and discuss my questions and problems. Ksenia also asked me to write down all the questions so that they could be discussed over the phone. The fact is that such problems and questions are not discussed with a doctor over the phone. It is very strange. I still continue to experience discomfort. But you never called me back or invited me for an examination. I sent you my questions, photos, and explained that I experienced severe acute pain and discomfort after treatment. You sent me a letter with files that cannot be opened. Because the file has a password that you did not tell me. The second file contains one cropped X-ray of several teeth. More than a week has passed. You continue to ignore my request to send me my documents, X-ray, iTero scan, certificates and licenses. During root canal treatment, a burnt smell appeared in my mouth. The piece flew off the teeth and fell on the tongue. The assistant removed the piece using a saliva ejector. Doctor Alex and assistant didn't tell me what it was.​ Also, you did not give me the documents that I signed at your clinic. I ask you to answer the email that you ignore my questions and provide me with my documents, X-ray, iTero scan, full information about the services and treatments that you provided me. There is no more information on your website about where you make crowns. There are no certificates or licenses on the website for the laboratory that makes crowns. It was a big mistake to contact your clinic. Give me my documents so that my new doctor can compare the results before and after your treatment. I came to your clinic without an infection. I had the remainder of the tooth extracted and a robotic implant and bone graft completed in less than two hours. I left with a prescription for antibiotics and pain killers but have had no pain.
