I was so happy to find Spodak Dental group! I am so tired of subpar service and being told I need costly services that were not necessary. I searched countless reviews and this was one of my top 3 choices. Of the others, one didn't take my insurance and the other was booked for 5 months. Spodak dental got me in within a week and from the moment I got there I was received with such a friendly and competent team. Reception was outstanding and I maybe waited 5 minutes. Ashley, my hygienist was exceptional! Dr Balk was also so pleasant. It is a state of the art comprehensive practice that does everything in-house. Having your practitioner show up at Spodak is like pulling teeth! After consultations and measurements done, in preparation for full mouth reconstruction, two of my appointments were cancelled, as I was on my way into the practice from the parking lot. My one successful preparatory appointment, which included taking of measurements, was made entertaining by the practitioner's gossiping about my former dentist, whose office is in Los Angeles. He must be doing very well. The Spodak Associate was literally salivating as he described my former dentist's 10 Lamborghinis and ex-model wife, who is 10 heads taller than he is. They say that gossip hurts three people: the gossiper, the subject, and anyone who carries forth the tale. For everyone out there who dreads the thought of going to the dentist, you will be happy to hear there is finally a cure. I say this with complete confidence because I recently experienced it at Spordak Dental Group with wonderful dentist, Dr. Adri, and her outstanding team - Shanice and Danita. I needed extensive repair on my teeth and when I could no longer bear the discomfort and stress, I started seeking help. After visits to three different dentists who did not listen to my difficulties but told me what my problems were without my input - and what it would cost to fix. I wanted to give up. Then I visited Spordak and met Dr. Adri and felt I found a quality dentist - an entirely different and refreshing encounter. She actually listened attentively to me and addressed every aspect of my problems. I felt welcome as a person as Dr. Adri addressed my fear and anxiety as well as my dental difficulties with genuine understanding. Danita handled was supportive and helpful with the financial aspects of the procedures. I finally felt reassured enough to make an appointment I wasn't afraid to keep. When I first sat in the dental chair that brought back unpleasant memories, I was surprised by the attention that Dr. Adri's assistant, Shanice, paid to my comfort. I actually felt pampered - did I need nitrous? A blanket? The chair massage? A pillow? Earphones to block the drill? But the best was yet to come. Dr. Adri came in and spoke to me personally and warmly, describing the procedure she was completing on addressing all of my concerns, and telling me to let her know if I needed her to pause. I was not aware the procedure took longer than planned as she and Shanice worked together flawlessly past closing time. On the second visit I expressed my concern about getting my original smile back which should have been the least of my concerns. However, Dr. Adri went to great pains going over the pictures and X-rays, making sure I would be happy with the results. The last visit was the adjustment - fitting it all together. Here is where Dr. Adri showed her meticulous professionalism and talent as a dentist. She worked until the adjustment was perfect. When she called in the expert lab tech for consultation, she not only introduced me but included me in the in the discussion, making sure I was comfortable with the last details. When it was over I was more than delighted with the end result and the outstanding treatment I received - I had my old smile back and my mouth felt great. It's hard to express how I wonderful this dental experience was compared to many unpleasant ones in the past. The best word I can think of TRUST. I recommend Dr. Adri, Shanice, Danita, and the entire Spook group without qualifications. If you have avoided needed dental treatment as I did in the past, it will change your outlook completely. read more

I am writing this review with complete disappointment with Spodak Dental Group. I went into this office with optimism and left with distress. Within just two months of getting a crown placed by Dr. Lisel, I began experiencing significant pain and complications. The crown was misfit from the start, which led to an infection beneath it, which led me to a root canal. Something that should never happen this soon after treatment. The infection not only caused unbearable discomfort, but it also worsened my TMJ issues, leaving me with jaw pain and ongoing distress. To make matters worse, during the adjustment of the crown, my tooth was shaved down prematurely at the top to force the crown to fit, completely changing my bite. This unnecessary alteration has left me struggling with alignment issues, jaw pain, and additional dental complications that I am now forced to fix out of pocket. The lack of accountability from this office is even more saddening. Avoiding the situation behind the phrase "we said you would possibly need a root canal", although, after the procedure, I was told I was fine several times (because I kept asking) and that I did not need one now, as it was not as close to the nerve as predicted. When I went back for the second adjustment of the crown... I was told again that maybe I just need to get a root canal (instead of focusing on the misfit crown)... when the endodontist saw me, he said perhaps just getting the adjust would help for now and we would revisit it. I left telling them that the crown was still too high after the adjustment, I was told to wait a few weeks (kind of brushing me off, as If were being dramatic). I returned after with an excruciating infection, ( though I thought I just needed another adjustment because the crown was still too high and uncomfortable).... pain like I've never felt in my life, from my neck to my head, my ears and my jaw, all inflamed. Another dentist prescribed antibiotics. I returned finally to get another x-ray and see if the infection spread to my jaw or bones, and my initial dentist did not even come in the room to greet me or speak to me. After going to another dentist office, it was confirmed the possibility that the height of the crown created an array of complications, including it being cracked and leading to the infection. All that pressure and pain for weeks from the ill fitting crown. Instead of acknowledging their error or showing any concern for the impact this has had on my health and daily life, it's "we said you would possibly need a root canal". No refund, just avoidance and excuses. As a little girl, I always loved the dentist. I wasn't fearful. But now I completely understand why people are afraid of the dentist office. Dental work is not cheap, and patients trust professionals to perform procedures correctly and with a duty of care. I trusted Spodak Dental with my care, and that trust was completely violated. I am now dealing with the consequences physically, emotionally, and financially because of their carelessness. If you value your oral health, your time, and your peace of mind, consider that. I have been coming to this dentist since 2018 and I can tell you the past 6 years I have never had a hiccup or bad experience. This place so so clean and open, I love the layout. The gentleman at the front desk has been amazing remembering my name each visit as I approach the desk he says my name and appointment time before I do and I try to beat him to the punch everytime haha. The dental hygienist are amazing and so friendly and they reach make each visit so personal and really try to get to know you as a person and give great recommendations on how to keep your teeth in best shape possible. I had a dental emergency June 29th while eating a Pork Rib during lunch. I cracked my bottom back molar and it hurt bad and did not want to go into the long July 4th weekend not being able to enjoy eating and being in pain, so I called Spodak Dental Group, and they got me in within the hour same day to have a look. The tooth was cracked bad. I needed a crown. they prepared my tooth, Took X rays and put a temporary crown on until my Porcelain crown was made. 2 weeks later they took the temporary solution off and affixed the Final Porcelain crown. No Issues, I feel great, Dr. Tiffany Dudley who is not my regular dentist was assigned for my emergency visit. she did an amazing job and I am back to eating-chewing with no issues. Spodak Dental Group is an excellent Dental Facility that treats their patients with extra love. Dr, Dudley's assistant who I cannot remember her name was also outstanding and caring. Was my favorite dentist for years but the the craziest thing happened I bit on a piece of metal at Maggiano's in Boca and broke something on my tooth, called the dentist got like emergency repair done for $1500 but they falsely coded it as a regular checkup visit so of course when the insurance reviewed the file they denied saying they didn't know anything about anything emergency on a broken tooth. They just wrote it as Routine check. I went back multiple times via email to Dr Dudley and Craig Spodak himself, but they kindly denied to make any changes and fix the issue. Rather wished me goodbye and sent my client profile back. Great way to do business so can't refer them anymore which I did hundreds of times in the past, but I guess that's what you get as a loyal client these days Nobody cares they just get too big and full of themselves So of course, I updated all my previous referrals so they don't have to head back and get the same outcome - talking about value of customer retention for not doing the right thing!!!! read more

Never should a dentist or healthcare provider make a patient feel uncomfortable. I had the dentist probe me about my medical history in front of a hygienist and receptionist. I provided medical details, as well as, medication but didn't need to go to a level of what was requested of any patient. If you're interested in art and gardens go there. Only reason I didn't give five stars is because after exams you are given a suggested treatment plan based on what you need per the doctor and it could be a bit pricey. Had a dentist appt at Spodak today. Great experience and I feel very well taken care of. They are going to help me set up a sleep study to see if I have apnea (I snore) . If paying $1,000 for a "deep clean" is ok with you, then this office will be perfect. Approximately one month prior I paid over $1,000 also but had a chipped tooth repaired and saw a dentist; while I wasn't thrilled I didn't feel ripped off. Did I mention the "deep clean" took approximately 30 mins? While paying I asked what a typical cleaning costs. Really have to beware of this office and their fees. I did get a call for a free cleaning after canceling all future appointments. I would rather pay a fair price in the first place then be ripped off. I'm going to find a better dental office.
