All the dental hygienist that my kids have had have all been wonderful but the one who took care of me was aggressive and rough and hurt. Also she came off as uncaring and rude. I'm a big baby so in no way did she try to comfort me until they were tears coming out of my eyes that I had to ask for numbing for the deep cleaning she was rushing through. I had a filling that popped out and the Dr did it perfectly! Didn't hurt and I felt safe. No crying that time! Just maybe some happy tears because now I can get braces!

She got me in immediately to see Dr Winderbaum. When I arrived, I found the office to be clean and nicely decorated. Dr Winderbaum was very nice. After seeing my problem, we decided to replace my broken onlay. He gave me a great shot, which I barely felt and he had a very gentle touch. He seemed to be very conscientious as well. His assistant performed a digital scan of my tooth and had a very light touch. A temporary restoration was placed while I wait for the lab to return my permanent restoration. I would definitely recommend Dr Winderbaum. I found him to be compassionate and conscientious. I guess I found a new dentist.

For reference I had 4 teeth on the left side of my mouth that was all fillings, then crowned and then root canaled, then 2 were implants and then one was losing bone (canine) and no one could figure it out. I was temporarily living in Delray and went to Spodak for a cleaning. It was super modern and had every speciality under one roof. (I can't find that anywhere else.) You want a dentist that is comprehensive even if you want cosmetic too. Anyone can do cosmetic. You need someone who cares about how your teeth function. Functionality is the key to dental health. Dr Spodak came in (the patriarch) he was very warm and comforting. Terrific bedside manner and he said to me.. "you don't have bad teeth, you probably do your dental work all at once and they offer to do the left side and then the right side" I nodded and finally felt seen for the first time in a dental chair. While wide eyed I managed to say "uh huh" he said "well they ended all that work on your right side, filed it up so much so your bite is off and of course you lost your left side. If you start with me today I can save your teeth. If you don't you will lose the other side. I didn't have the money at that point. I asked can I just get a bite guard. He said no that won't work. (This is how much integrity they have, knowing it was all I could afford they didn't try to bring me in and make me pay $500 for something that wasn't going to work. In all my years, I haven't found a dentist like that) I ended up moving to Arizona and when I did have the money, I could not find one dentist who could help me or listen to me. They all offered bite guards and acted like I didn't brush or floss my teeth enough. I am not joking I have seen everyone in this state and it doesn't matter how much I brush and floss it is my bite. Dr. Spodak wanted to truly save my teeth out of 43 dentists. I've seen he was the only one to offer suggestions on how to save them. Unfortunately other dentists don't want to prevent they only want to fix. If I could go back I would have stayed in Delray and kept going to Dr Spodak. I don't know if he is still practicing but I am seriously thinking of flying out there just for a visit.

Your insurance info is saved in the app, so you pick a time, book and you're done. I've seamlessly used Zocdoc quite a few times and really like the app alot. Today was the first issue. On the day of the appointment here, I showed up promptly, showed the receptionist my appointment in the app, but was told, no, there is no appointment. Apparently when you book with this provider on Zocdoc they don't actually make or honor the Zocdoc appointment. They just have you come in and try to shoehorn you into a different day and time. THAT'S NOT HOW ZOCDOC WORKS! The Zocdoc appointment is SUPPOSED TO BE the appointment. That's the whole point of Zocdoc. To make it easy for people to schedule. It's not supposed to be a lead generator where you don't honor appointments and then figure it all out later. That's ridiculous. I took time out of my busy schedule for nothing. Outrageous. Really disappointed with them for wasting my time and for not following Zocdoc procedures.
