When researching a unique office Christmas party, a co-worker mentioned looking into a Brew Bus. I…read morefound Indy Brew Bus through Yelp and thought I'd check out there packages. During the Holiday season they offer a wonderful tour "Lights at the Brickyard Brewery Tour". After emailing with Andy and John about pricing, we secured 2 buses for a private event. When I had questions about the event, Andy and John were super fast and emailing me a response. The day of the event, I got a text in the afternoon with the drivers info in case I needed anything and confirming the departure time. 10 mins before departure, I got a text that the buses had arrived downstairs and everyone headed downstairs. The Drivers Andy & Todd met us in the lobby and gave us a quick rundown of the nights schedule, gave us a sticker and loaded up the buses. First Stop was Traders Brewing Company which was just a few miles from our pick up point. Andy took the lead and introduced us to the brewery and explained the process of brewing and answered questions. We were offer 2 samples, pre-poured, but were given the option of sampling anything we liked. Andy and Todd both milled around and were talking to individuals and groups about how they were liking the beer and making sure everyone was having a great time. Several people were impressed and mentioned swinging by at another time after work. After about 35 mins we were given a 10 min heads up for departure/bathroom/purchase for the road. Next Stop was Wabash Brewing. This brewery was hoppin. We arrived and we immediately headed to the bar to try their brews. Live Music was playing and we even got to play some shuffleboard in a round robin fashion. Although the brewery was packed we had a great time trying unusual beer combos, a new band and new friends. Last stop for the night would be at the Speedway for the Lights at the Brickyard. A speedy pass came with the tour booking so we were able to enter the grounds through a special gate and not have to sit in a line of cars. The lights were enjoyable and the fact that we could bring snacks was a godsend. After the driven tour, we were able to have the experience of entering the Pagoda and seeing the lights/indy skyline from the 8th floor. While Todd stayed with the buses, Andy joined us and was available to take pictures and show us where the non busy bathrooms were. (GODSEND). All in all, I would highly recommend the Indy Brew Bus for a unique gathering. Andy mentioned that the tours usually include 1 Large Brewery as well as a Smaller (Lesser Known) Brewery to show differences. Since our pick up was on the Northwest Side, the breweries were chosen based on our location. I can't thank Andy and Todd for making our party a great success. They were friendly, knowledgeable and just plain awesome. You guys are the best!

We went to Roundtown, Flat12, Fountain Square and Indiana City. I enjoyed all of them! Didn't even know a few of them existed. Did you know Indianapolis has 50 breweries?! Crazy. We spent about 30 minutes at each place. We were able to try multiple samples which was included in our tour fee. My favorite location was Fountain Square brewery but Flat12 had my favorite beer of the night. I'd recommend Indy brew bus to anyone. It's a nice change of pace from just going to our regular bars.

We both had to work the next day, and after 20 years of concerts there we were not looking forward to an hour-plus "after party" waiting in traffic to get out of the parking area. We found TST totally by accident with a Google search for "shuttle to Ruoff". Essentially they run a fleet of very nice shuttle buses which offer multiple pick-up locations throughout the city. You pay online, then meet the shuttle at the pre-determined spot a few hours prior to the concert's start. We met our driver, Trey at the Broad Ripple Sun King parking lot. He was super friendly and had some tunes playing (radio was also Bluetooth-equipped if we wanted to run out own soundtrack). A cooler of cold bottled water was provided. We waited just a few mins and then were off to the next (last stop) to pick up a few more folks at Blind Owl Brewery. Total on bus was a comfortable 11 people. The ride was quick, we got there with plenty of time to spare (at least an hour), and the best part: the bus parked right near the entrance! Trey had some folding chairs and even games for us to play while some of us waited to go into the venue. Most on the bus chose to sit and chat with each other for a bit. We found out that TST's offers many different shuttle services, from sweet 16 parties to bachelorette events and winery/brewery tours. Trey waited with the bus and after the concert we were whisked right out, past all the sitting cars and back onto I-69. Don't forget to tip your driver before you leave. We were home safely in record time! As far as I'm concerned now, this is the ONLY way to go to a concert at Deer Creek (or anywhere else that requires a decent drive)!

We got picked up downtown at Sunking which means after your beers. I did think we'd get a tour of a brewery but day drinking on a Saturday was great. Ash & Elm has great food options. It was our first time there and we loved it. Who knew cider was so flavorful. The seasonal ciders are a must! Garfield brewery was once an old gas station so the outdoor patio area is pretty neat. They have flights available as well. And kismetic, our last stop was also delicious. They don't offer food but have menus from cluster truck. The coffee beer was my favorite! All places to check out if you haven't been. I will definitely be back to each!

Get some carbs in you before you start your adventures! Our bus driver (Chuck Taylor) was fantastic. He let us know the rules - what you can and can't do - bring beer from one brewery to another etc... He also provided us with cups and water Tip: Brink snacks on the bus! You will appreciate some pretzals or snack mix after your 3rd stop! We always got a heads up on time and distances. He helped us connect our music and made sure everyone was in good spirits at all time. At each stop we got samples of beers, and enough time to order a pint or fill a growler for later. Tip #2: Don't be afraid to split a pint with a friend - the breweries were happy to give us each a cup to split it! Otherwise you are drinking a lot between beers at the brewery and your beers on the bus! I would 100% recommend this especially if you have a group that all want to try some new brews!

Our tour started late but it wasn't a big deal--they had a little issue with another bus. The first bus we got on was kind of plain but we switched to "our" smaller bus and it was so much cooler! The inside had lights that changed colors along the top, the front and back of the bus had 4-seat tables on both sides with slots for your drinks. The breweries were a lot of fun--Metazoa even had a round of flip cup for the group. We will definitely be doing another tour with them in the future. *you can request a certain driver--I highly recommend Chuck Taylor!

Not Ms. Carrie! She is out there hitting the road, enlightening visitors and showing the sights of Indianapolis to a appreciative audience. Circle City Tours is very flexible and will work with your schedule and timeline. I was picked up downtown for the tour but for a slight fee, Carrie dropped me off at an Airport hotel. I was grateful for her immense knowledge of the city, particularly historical facts. LOVED the trek through lovely Crown Hill cemetery, which is not morbid at all. Carrie pointed out the many grave sites of noted politicians, authors, artists, ex-Presidents and the locally prominent who lie in repose there. The Civil War burial section was also very touching. Ms. Carrie pointed out magnificent churches, memorials, art and children's museum, local eateries (Shapiro's Deli=yummy!) and the White River State Park area. We even got to check out all the Christmas decorations up at the Indy Speedway. She packs a lot into the 3-hour tours but when it's over, you feel a sense of accomplishment that you learned so much about Indianapolis-- a city made all the more beautiful than it already is, by the beautiful ministrations of Carrie and Circle City Tours. 5 YELP STARS.
