Amazing Oreo ice cream! You could tell it was homemade, my dad got a vanilla milk shake that was also delicious!

This was some of the best quality ice cream I've ever had. Thick, decadent, and rich in flavor. Then it melts into like a milkshake if you'd rather wait than dig at it with your spoon. It's much different than type of ice cream you'd get from a chain or grocery store. All of these places have been cutting costs by lowering the quality of ingredients. You can certainly tell after you try this. I definitely think the price is justified, and they give you plenty enough to share if you get two scoops. This is a good little place on the pier. No indoor seating and it's also has a service window. Super busy when we came. It strikes a good balance between value and quality. I picked up the peanut butter thing--cannot recall the name--but it was good. Good balance of PB and ice cream. If you like peanut butter this one is your jam! Service is as pretty fast. I like to consider myself an ice cream connoisseur and this is the best ice cream I've had in the state of South Carolina (can yall come to Mt Pleasant please????) My husband and I went three times in two days and simply loved everything. They have so many unique flavors to choose from and staff allowed us to sample as many flavors as desired. My personal favorite was the red velvet on a waffle cone. What we appreciated most was their accommodations for nut allergies. Staff were very intentional and prepared the ice cream in a separate, clean area. A must stop when in Surfside! read more

We were in the area for five days. We went every day. It's reasonably priced, they're fast, the flavors are good. I kept it reasonable with a single scoop of mint chocolate chip (it was actual chips, not fudge pieces!). Let's just say I want to go back and taste other flavors. Ice creams are home made and have some interesting flavor combinations. I ordered the orange pineapple and OMGGG! Whomever thought of this is an ice cream genius. Kids got the mint chocolate chip, and velvet. The only complaint was that the shop was EXTREMELY hot. We all had scoops of ice cream. The special flavor was salty goat -- salted caramel ice cream with toasted pecans and homemade pecan cookies -- to die for. My partner had peanut butter Oreo. She said it was one of her absolute favorite flavors. I tried it -- IMO the peanut butter was stronger than the Oreo, but also just right! First visit. It was after 9pm on a Sunday night. The good; Even with a long line, they have cashiers on both ends of counter and the line moved quickly. The ice cream (Salty Goat) was good but not the best I've had. Hubby had salty goat and coffee and felt the same. The not so good: The building was SO HOT! The girls were working non-stop and the air conditioner was broken. I hope, for their sake, this isn't a regular issue. I understood the cones are homemade. I live for a good homemade waffle cone and how a thick, crispy cone offsets the sweetness of the ice cream. Therefore I tried a chocolate nut cone and expected the saltiness of the nuts to add to that balance of sweet, crunchy and salty. Unfortunately. it was the worst cone I've ever had. It tasted stale, was too sweet for my liking and was too thin to hold up to the ice cream, especially in the heat. To me, a nutty butty cone is better. That was so disappointing. I might give it another try but will try another flavor in a cup. read more

Absolutely amazing ice cream. Been living here for 20+ years and they have the best service, ice cream and atmosphere on the whole beach.
