The wife and I each got a single scoop in a cup and with tax and a small tip it was $12.23! Really?? $12.23 for two scoops of ice cream? It was good but not that good for what they charged! We were on our way back to the resort last night around 10pm and noticed a huge line outside of this ice cream shop. We told ourselves that there must be something really good about this place and that we had to try it sometime this week before we leave back home. Fast forward a day and we are having dinner with Mya one baseball team and parents out in town and they mentioned that they wanted to go get ice cream at this ice cream parlor and it happened to be the same one we saw! Dude it was fate! This is a classic ice cream parlor that began in 2004 and thankfully the line was not too long. They have a HUGE variety of choices such as soft serve, flavored ice cream, gelato and many other sweet treats. Everything from hand scooped cups or cake / waffle cones. It was so hard to choose but I went with my favorite which is a soft serve turtle sundae. This was a perfect way to end the day on a very hot and humid summer evening in Myrtle Beach. They even have an arcade inside and I couldn't help but take in a few rounds of a classic Galaga. Took me back to when I was a kid. We're back! Went here on Wednesday October 22nd 2025 with my parents and Uncle to get some Ice Cream. We were at nearby's Valentinos restaurant and passed this place, and decided to stop. We walked in right away, and there was a few people in front of us. The line did move quickly. Cashier was pleasant- We ordered as follows: I forgot what my uncle had, it was on a cone though-- My dad had a small cone with Chocolate raspberry and chocolate with a cherry, I had a Cup Small with Cotton Candy and Pumpkin, and my mom got a soft serve vanila in a waffle cone. We paid via credit card. We ate inside this trip at the tables inside, in which they have both tables and booths to eat at. We enjoyed our ice cream! Loved the taste of the pumpkin flavor too! I've been a loyal fan of Meyers for over a decade but I have to say I don't think it's as good as it used to be. The ice cream is good, yes, but since they no longer offer tastes, I never try anything new, since I'm not sure I'll like it. I understand they're so incredibly busy, it would slow things down tremendously if they allowed you to "try" things, and I'm sure there are other reasons... but my kids also desperately miss the ability to try different flavors before making their decision. The employees I've encountered are just not as friendly as they used to be. They used to fill the bowl with ice cream, to the point where you couldn't see the bowl-- only the ice cream. But now, the bowl is definitely less full. As long as we come before 7pm, we're in and out... but get there too late, and the line is wrapped around the building. read more

While on vacation, after an adventurous day at Brook green Gardens, I did a search for dairy free ice cream and Meyer's came up with very good reviews. So we put it in the gps and went to check it out. There were so many flavors listed all over the decorative menu wall and we didn't know what to choose. When asked, the guy at the counter showed me the section on the menu with several dairy free options (made with coconut milk) I chose a medium cup of mint chocolate Oreo cookie and a gluten free (regular) cone. I was afraid the medium cup would be more ice cream than I could eat. However once I got it and began to eat it, it was so deliciously tasty that I couldn't stop eating it and I was so glad I did get medium. I even ordered a second cone to eat with the remaining ice cream.. The service was nice. You pay in one room and then go in the next room ( dining area where there is seating) and your order is prepared and your number called. The dining room was decorated very colorfully and playfully so with ice cream quotes and pictures all over the wall. We really enjoyed this place and the ice cream. It's conveniently located on Business 17, south of Hwy 544 on the west side of the road. It's bright, colorful and retro design makes you feel welcome and happy before you get your ice cream treat. There is ample parking, however it gets so busy at times that you'd need stadium parking to provide for all their customers. There are numerous specialty cones and cups and many, many flavors of delicious ice cream. I usually ask for a small cone, but there is no such thing at Meyers. We were looking for a good place to get ice cream this afternoon and saw this one on here, so we decided to check it out. We were so glad we did! Both the exterior and interior were bright and inviting. The staff was friendly and helpful. The menu was huge with tons of different flavors. I got a scoop of rainbow sherbet and a scoop of chocolate (my favorite) in a cup. Both were delicious. My boyfriend had a moose tracks milkshake, and he said it was very tasty and not overly thick (like some place's milkshakes are). My daughter chose one scoop of birthday cake and one scoop of superman ice cream in a cup. She raved about how yummy hers was. My son (who also loves chocolate) went with a simple chocolate milkshake. He nearly sucked the bottom out of the cup all while bragging about how tasty it was. On our visit, we went inside to order and then sat outside at one of the picnic tables to enjoy our desserts. The staff was making sure everyone stayed six feet apart and that everyone who came inside wore masks. We were pleased to see the staff was thoroughly cleaning the tables outside after they were used. If you are looking for a place to enjoy some scrumptious ice cream, a sundae, milkshake, or a twister (think Dairy Queen's blizzard), I highly recommend stopping in here.
