Last July I drove down from upstate New York to buy a 2015 Mazda CX9 I saw on the internet from…read moreReliable Car Connection. Since there was no guarantee, I wanted assurance there were no mechanical problems. I was told one of their mechanics had checked the car thoroughly and there were no issues. So I bought the car and started my drive home. Since the gas gauge showed an almost empty tank, i stopped at a gas station for gas. First problem, I could not open the cover latch of the gas tank. I had to borrow a screw driver and pry the cover open. The cover latch spring was broken. As soon as I left the station, several people honked their horns at me and pointed to the rear of the car. They said I was leaking gas all over the road. I thought it was because I overfilled the tank and drove on. However, after about 5 minutes of driving I noticed my gas tank now only had half a tank of gas. I filled the gas tank again with the same problem. I obviously had a gas leak, But I needed to get home that day so I only stopped for gas when almost empty and added only half a tank. But there was another problem, a red light kept flashing on my dash. I checked the manual and discovered I had a low oil pressure warning problem. I checked the oil fill gauge every time I got gas and did not lose any oil. But the engine started to misfire so I drove a slow 50 miles per hour. There is more. When it became dark I turned on my headlights but the road was still very dark so I had to use my high beams the rest of the way home. I finally arrived home late in the evening. The next day I took the Mazda to my mechanic for a thorough inspection. He found a big hole in the gas tank, faulty oil pressure sensor, engine misfiring because of worn spark plugs and wiring harness. and burned out headlights. I called Reliable Car Connection with the results of this inspection and they said they would send me a check for $500 to replace the gas tank, that was all. So I had to pay over $2,000 for the needed repairs. So much for the thorough inspection of my Mazda by Reliable Car Connection. The Mazda I bought was unsafe. The leaking gas tank could have resulted in a serious fire and personal injury. Thankfully that did not happen. The failure to replace the faulty oil pressure sensor could have resulted in major damage to the engine. It remains to be seen if that is the case. The burnt out headlights made night driving very dangerous. Based on my negative experience detailed above, it's obvious I would NEVER recommend anyone buy a car from (UN) Reliable Car Connection. By January I was left stranded because the gaskets on my transmission had completely blown n poured all my transmission fluid. Had to have it towed n fixed for an additional $200+, not even two weeks after it being in the shop for a week it had to be right back for basically 2 full weeks and its just given me countless more problems. I would highly suggest not buying a car here they are very much not reliable. Likely make all their money selling customers flukey cars in hopes they spend more money there to fix it. Additionally the car I had originally went to look at had a visual bullet hole in the fender, the photos online are not what you will see in person!!

This review is for the auto repair and service and not buying a car. I had a 10:30 appointment on…read moreSaturday, 3/29, for an oil change, tire rotation, and 8,000-mile check-up. The service took two hours to accomplish. It was a bit longer than what I was expecting for having a reserved time, but I understand due to the day being a Saturday. There was complimentary coffee and snacks while I waited, and the lobby and waiting area were clean. Though it felt by design that the dealership was in the same building with signs to tell you that you could get more for a trade-in due to the market. It can be annoying since I just got the new car last year. But there weren't any pushy sales people there to sell you a newer car. The service was good. My oil change was free, and the tire rotation wasn't included in the deal of my new car. I also didn't get any pushy upsells of maintenance, which is good. But recommending this place for general car services, I'm not sure about that. I only went due to the free oil change and 8,000-mile inspection. You might be better off going to a regular mechanic. If you have an older and potentially run down car, I can see traps that could have you in a spot that you can be pressured into buying a newer car.

Poor Customer Service, poor sales department and poor detailing department. And I don't trust the…read moreservice department did a full and thorough inspection of the vehicle before I purchased it since I'm already having issues with it. During the buying process my salesman was back and forth between me and another customer at the same time instead of focusing on me and closing my deal, they are obviously short staffed, the sales manager filled in for my salesman while he was assisting another customer which is unacceptable. Also they were very misleading about discounts and incentives before I got there and they also said the car was cleaned and ready to be shown just to lure me into to the dealership to make a quick sale on a new trade in. I drove 2 hours and When I got there the car was filthy and they tried to offer a discount off the retail value of the car and not the listing price which is foolery. I came in on a Friday and left a down payment and was told the vehicle would be detailed and ready on Monday, I sent over my documents ahead of time and was told that when I come back on Monday the rest of the process should only take 1 to 2 hours in fact we were there for 5 hours which is ridiculous. While I was at the dealership waiting I had to take a cloth and clean the areas that the detailing department did not clean SMH. The rims were dirty the center console had garbage in it The seats were still dirty etc...I also requested information in regards to the lifetime power train program which kia offers but they never offered that as an option I had to inquire. The salesman and sales manager explained the details of the program and provided me with iterature and when I requested enrollment documentation they said I would get it through finance and when we finally got to finance a staff member said that the program no longer existed so obviously staff is not on the same page and the program was advertised so it should be honored. Also my salesman never took the time to show me how to setup Kia Connect for my vehicle which was an important feature that should have been explained and shown to me when I purchased the vehicle. And Since I've had the car I've had some issues with it and I have tried contacting my salesman who won't respond to me. I've also tried contacting the sales manager and the finance person who won't forward me my contract as well. I Also requested the GMs contact info and no one seems to want to provide me with his information. It seems they are withholding the info from me. Unhappy customer and it seems like I'm going to have to pay an in person visit and raise hell! I wouldn't recommend doing business with this dealership ever!

If you're looking for a new car, please see Zach Kotran. One of the most personable, down to earth guys you would ever want to meet! I drove an hour to this dealership on Friday since they were one of the few that had Camry's on the lot that were "saleable" due to the current recall. I had a few text conversations with Zach prior to my arrival, which I appreciated very much. One of my wife's first questions was to ask me how the salesrep was since we were VERY disappointed with the not just the arrogance, but the lack of product knowledge at another Toyota dealer (salesman) that was local to us. Zach is most definitely a "car guy" that knew not just the car, but also all of the tech. It felt like I knew Zach for many years and we were just "BS'ing" about cars over a few beers. No pressure AT ALL....no tactics....just a great all around negotiating and buying process. I did observe other sales and finance guys on the Saturday we were there for the pick up....everyone was in a great mood and many Salesreps were hopping from customer to customer. Lounge and restrooms were super clean. Overall, we had an A++ experience here, and we are loving our new Camry. Again, a HUGE shout-out to Zach Kotran for not just being a great salesman, but also being a REALLY good guy!

Service is fine but they decide to send my car, without asking, through their car wash causing swirl marks over the paint. This is a hand wash car only. Toyota black paint is difficult to maintain. Not everyone is particular about their car, I get it, but I am. I question them on this, they deny sending it through their car wash. I push on them, they call me back and tell me the truth. I also have dash cam footage. I just had the car paint corrected and ceramic coated, which I now have to do again because of their mistake. I will never step foot in this establishment again. These are not your cars, you can't just do whatever you feel like doing with them. I'm waiting to hear from the service manager to understand how they will compensate me for their mistake. Never again.
