My wife and I bought a '26 Camry on Saturday 6/13 form here. From my understanding they were sold to another dealership recently. Whatever the case may be, my salesman was OUTSTANDING. If you're looking for a new car, please see Zach Kotran. One of the most personable, down to earth guys you would ever want to meet! I drove an hour to this dealership on Friday since they were one of the few that had Camry's on the lot that were "saleable" due to the current recall. I had a few text conversations with Zach prior to my arrival, which I appreciated very much. One of my wife's first questions was to ask me how the salesrep was since we were VERY disappointed with the not just the arrogance, but the lack of product knowledge at another Toyota dealer (salesman) that was local to us. Zach is most definitely a "car guy" that knew not just the car, but also all of the tech. It felt like I knew Zach for many years and we were just "BS'ing" about cars over a few beers. No pressure AT ALL....no tactics....just a great all around negotiating and buying process. I did observe other sales and finance guys on the Saturday we were there for the pick up....everyone was in a great mood and many Salesreps were hopping from customer to customer. Lounge and restrooms were super clean. Overall, we had an A++ experience here, and we are loving our new Camry. I have a black 24 GR Corolla. I bought it here but never go to dealerships to get work done. There was a recall, so I had to. I drop my car off. Service is fine but they decide to send my car, without asking, through their car wash causing swirl marks over the paint. This is a hand wash car only. Toyota black paint is difficult to maintain. Not everyone is particular about their car, I get it, but I am. I question them on this, they deny sending it through their car wash. I push on them, they call me back and tell me the truth. I also have dash cam footage. I just had the car paint corrected and ceramic coated, which I now have to do again because of their mistake. I will never step foot in this establishment again. These are not your cars, you can't just do whatever you feel like doing with them. I'm waiting to hear from the service manager to understand how they will compensate me for their mistake. I purchased a used car. I told the salesperson I had a trade in 2006 Volkswagen Touareg not with me and in bad condition, asked how much do you give for a minimum trade they said $500 I made it clear that the SUV was in very bad shape. They repeated ok no problem. Also I told them that I was unable to find the title but I had a registration, again they said no problem we have done it before. I asked how would this work when I don't have the vehicle here? She said no problem just bring it in tomorrow and we'll cut you a check for $500 I was there till 8:30 pm signing paperwork and purchased the vehicle. I went back the next day with my trade in and located the salesperson she said let me take some pictures and I'll have the service person look at it. She said we can go to my desk and wait for him to look at the vehicle. No one came out so she went back and came back with paperwork to sign and the price was on the paperwork $225 I asked her what happened to the $500 she said the vehicle is in very bad shape. I know that I told you that repeatedly! She replied that is all they could do. I told her that I was not happy about this. She went back to talk to the service manager and came back and said with not having the title and the condition of the vehicle we can only give you $35 for it. What!!! She said we have to pay for the title and the vehicle is in such bad condition that's all they can do and I have to wait for a week for them to mail it to me. If you're a warranty customer they treat you like a second rate citizen. Service writers are suffering from customer empathy fatigue. Coffee machines broke, red leather PLeather chairs are so dirty I'd almost rather sit on the floor. How do you not have factory tires in stock. This place will not give you a loaner and o charges 35 $ a day for a loaner vehicle because you don't have inventory is a site issue not a customer issue. The bathrooms are nice though. No review requested from them after I was a customer who gave push back. As long as you're a paying customer you should be fine. Warranty customers stay away. You're overhead. read more

Service nightmare: Made an appointment for oil change. Arrived on time for my appt. Unhappy service desk rep for intake. Had me sit in the waiting area. An hour and a half later, I asked about how my oil change was coming. I was told it was not done, that the MPI wasn't even started. It would take a while longer. I said it was too late, and to finish the oil. After all of that, it cost me some $80 to have it done. The service team is less than adequate.The techs might be ok, but certainly cant follow an appointment schedule. Scheduled appointments should be FIRST. read more

Avoid this dealer and shop elsewhere. I bought a slightly used 2024 Honda and they were quick to sell me the car in under four hours, no pressure. The problem is that they sold me this car with an aftermarket key-fob, since somehow, the two original fobs that came with the car from factory are gone. This was not brought to my attention during the sale. Fatima smartly kept the aftermarket fob hidden until the sale concluded and I didn't realize it until it was too late. This flimsy fob is missing features that come standard with the car, does not have an emergency key, and obviously they didn't factor the drawbacks into the overall price. Jose (manager) turned me away the first time I tried to resolve this issue in person. He quoted the "as is" condition but after some persistence realized it's wrong to sell a car without an emergency key (unless this is made known). If I want full functionality, I was told to spend 350 on a Honda fob and waste even more time. On a vehicle built within the past year.  It's been two months. I've been calling, texting, leaving messages, using their online inquiry form, and the dealership refuses to help or even respond. Hours of driving to follow up in person to be turned away each time. Fatima just straight up ghosted me. I've been polite, so this behavior is unacceptable. These people suck. If you have an issue post-sale, good luck getting them to acknowledge you. The only thing they care about is the next sale. All you had to do was call me back.  They'll leave an insincere apology to this if they even care enough to do so. Regardless, I'm done with them - I'll buy my own fob and tell people to stay far away from Bennett. I love the car but I wish I would've went somewhere else. Ugh! Soooo disappointed in my shopping experience at this dealership. I've been a faithful service customer for 14 years & have always been very satisfied. So when it came to purchasing a new car, it was a no brainer for me to reach out to their sales team. What a mistake! I put down a deposit in mid June on a Grand Highlander Hybrid and was told I was now "in que" and my car should be received in just a few months. Ok, no problem. Months went by and no word from my salesman (Matt). I finally called at the end of the September for a status update. When he returned my call he informed me about the big recall and that production had been shut down. The dealerships were well aware of the recall, but not informing customers. No clue when cars would be available What?? Ok, still willing to wait to see what happens. Again, months go by & no communication. Finally 12/4 received a call from Jason, new sales guy since Matt is no longer there. Geez, I wonder why? Jason confirmed that I had ordered a Storm Cloud hybrid limited w/ black interior, but stated that my deposit had been refunded. Ummm yes that's the car I have on order but NO my deposit hadn't been refunded?? Calls me back same day and says good news! I have a car coming in the end of Dec - Early Jan but it has grey interior. Ok Great! Not ideal but doable. Send me the spec sheet. He sends me the spec sheet for a 2025 Grand Highlander Hybrid limited. I'm thrilled and excited I'm finally going to get my new car 6 months after it was ordered. Two weeks go by & my husband stops over for his oil change. Drops by the sales office to inquire about my car. They tell him, sorry No Storm Cloud hybrids are due in but they have a 2024 Red hybrid at the port if I want it. WTF???? No I don't want a RED car. And I surely don't want a 2024 that has had a recall issue on the side airbags. The sales guy lied to me the whole freaking time!! I called his manager who said we thought we could get it one from another dealership but Toyota won't allow it. You're a manager dude! You didn't know what the company sales process is?? I requested my deposit back which I did pick up the next day, but was told I couldn't cash it until the next day. Seriously, they can't even cover a $500 check. What does that tell you?? I brought my car in on 4/2 and got a tire rotation, multi point inspection all green. 3 days later I noticed the engine light comes on. I take it on 4/9. Suddenly, a leak is found, evap vent solenoid. I just bought this car in January from Bennett. Of course the 90 day warranty doesn't cover this repair. Literally bought the car with 50,031 mi on it, take it to the dealer at 51,328 mi for rotation and 103 mi later it needs a new evap vent solenoid. Make it make sense. All repairs should be covered under 90 day warranty. Disappointed. All trust lost in this dealership read more

Avoid this dealership... We ordered a Grand Highlander Hybrid one year ago and never received it. This was not the fault of Bennett but of Toyota. However, the salespeople including the sales managers refused to answer or respond to any of our calls or emails. The original salesperson was finally fired, Bennett never admitted this to us, but the sales managers still stonewalled us. The clearly have a policy of not answering phones nor returning calls. Even after we cancelled the order and requested our deposit back it took three weeks and two more calls to get the check sent. My experience started on 3/28/25 about a RAV4 Hybrid. I inquired about it at 7:40 am. I got a call at 9:35 am telling me it was available. I called and stated I wanted to put a deposit on it. I called at 11:10 and stated I wanted to put a deposit on it right away (I was starting work at 1 pm). The next communication I got was from Jim Genoe at 3:23 pm. He said he needed information about my trade first. When I got home at 6:15 I texted him the information and pictures. I texted "can you please ensure no one else places a deposit as I am going to turn down two other offers". His response: "We need to put a number on your trade". Crickets. At 8:04 the next morning I texted again to put the deposit down. At 8:43 am he responded "sending photos to used car manager". He asked for more info from me and a copy of my Drivers License. I responded within a minute. A minute later he responds "I see someone put a deposit on it sorry about that". I complained about why they didn't take the deposit yesterday. His response "we were busy". I said "have the sales manager call me". Again crickets. I guess they would rather have me do a review than speak to me. Is this the way Toyota's dealerships are taught to treat customers, or is this Bennett Auto Group? Vote with your business. read more

I took my Tundra into the dealership for some diagnostic work. I declined to have them do the work. One of the things they checked was the rear differential. I was told they drew out a small amount of oil from it to check it and it had some metal contamination. I called them before pickup and asked specifically if there was fluid in the rear. I was told, "Yes, we only take out a small amount to test it." There are no leaks in it. I drove it about 40 miles and 1 day later decided to drain and replace the fluid. It had only 1 quart in it, and it needs 4. I called and spoke to the service manager who said the tech that did it would likely lose his job. 500 miles later I took it to an independent shop and was told I needed a new ring and pinion because it had overheated from the low oil. The new gears cost $1700 retail, and the shop said they could get them for $1350. I asked Bennett if they would at least sell me the gears at dealer cost and I would pay for everything else. After 3 days and multiple phone calls, the service manager, Jim, said he could sell them to me for $1500! Wow, thanks so much for the great deal! Really good way to take care of a customer that you already screwed over. Never again, what a gang of thieves. read more

Long post - conclusion is DO NOT shop at Bennett Toyota of Allentown, PA. We were extremely disappointed this morning when we arrived at the car dealership to learn they would not honor the price they quoted us months ago on the car we put a down payment on to reserve. We shopped around for weeks to find this car, we drove up to Allentown because that was the closest in the area that could secure the car that had almost all the options that we wanted. We waited patiently and we're very excited to learn the car was delivered yesterday. Unfortunately, when we arrived today and reviewed the paperwork, we noticed a price difference and were told that the original price they gave us did not include the SmartShield warranty $895. After reviewing the paperwork we were originally given when we reserved the car with a down payment, which clearly shows it as an included line item, it was concluded that the sales guy made a mistake and should have crossed out the line item that described the warranty because he subtracted it from the price he quoted us. I understand this is an honest mistake but why should I be responsible for the $895 when it was their mistake. The finance guy, went to talk to the GM, who did not bother to come speak with us. The finance guy returned to tell us his GM would not accept responsibility for the error of his sales person. For anyone in the car market or if you've purchased a car recently, you understand that the dealers have the upper hand. If we walked away, we would have waited at least another 3-6 months for a car to be delivered, if we could even find another one to reserve. The dealer would have easily sold the car within a week and would probably have made more money. I understand car dealers have the upper hand these days and I'm willing to pay more as supply is low vs demand. However, I do expect to be treated fair and deal with honest people. In this case, we absolutely felt taken advantage of. The finance guy and salesman were very nice. Salesman made an honest mistake, finance guy brought it to the GM to fix it. The general manager should be ashamed. At least come explain your rationale to me instead of sending your finance guy in to deal with it. That was cowardly and a poor professional business decision. I rarely post on Facebook but wanted to share our miserable experience this morning because I know people have choices on where to shop and we will never go back to Bennett Toyota and wouldn't want anyone else to experience what we went thru this morning. 2018 prius compressor a/c not communicating and then the heat goes out, dealer says not covered for either one. Yet TSB 013519 9/28/19 coolant heat exchanger, all coverered emissions warranty. Tried Toyota Branding - turns out just another joke as they send right to Bennett and yet Bennett Svc Mngr says a rep from Toyota will come and look at car. Not True, just Bennett. What a joke I now am so irratated with the games and bull shit the Dealership plays, and the so called Toyota Complaint Line. No other contact for Corporate Executives for USA available to assist as you can not get their information. Next step WGAL and NTSB along the BBB. It's worth a try. A/C compressor should be good for 10 years. How do I know how long the Coolant Heat Exchanger has been going bad. Toyota replaced them in 2019 and previous 2nd & 3rd generation had the same problem. 3/17/25 Bob Tilp has me come in to dealership at 130pm as Toyota Rep would be in due to my contact with Toyota Branding. I got there at 130 and waited to 230pm, car was just moved and I never saw it in the service bays anwhere. Then he calls me in his office and says they will do good will for parts for the coolant leak, and I would need to pay 3 hours labor but he will try to get that also and he will email me the dealerships responce. When I said what about the a/c compressor, he says not on any of our service center notes, we did not diagnose it. Yet they scanned my car after the heat went out and he says that was only for coolant, the serv dpt would need to have it documented. Also maybe you have a freeon leak. I stated you have my three page letter with all information so why not fix both issues. I wonder how many customers get this treatment! read more

Had Service Dept. hold off on passing a state inspection because battery was slightly smaller than original. I was advised there would be no charge to return with the proper battery and would get the inspection sticker. When I took it back with the Toyota battery, the manager said he needed to reinspect the car. He agreed to not charge. I signed a paper saying they get $160 / hr labor. When I asked about it he said they were not going to charge. After waiting about 1/2 hour was told all was set and free to go. After getting home I found they had charged $37.10 labor ?? I do not recommend this dealer, they have a bunch of mechanics prepared with lies so that the customer spends money on invented diagnoses, such as changing the filter for the air conditioning and the famous sensors in the exhaust line. I'd give their Internet team a 4 but my in person experience a 2, so a 3 is about right. I stopped by Bennett Toyota to look at a Highlander and a Sienna. I had the name of a sales person from a friend but stupidly did not call in advance so I just had a random person. He was okay but didn't seem to know much about the vehicles. I test drove both, liked the Highlander best but mentioned that I was really looking for a different color combo. We went inside where he didn't seem to be able to figure out how to find me anything else. We finally asked for pricing on the one we drove, and that took forever. We finally got pricing (which was pretty blah) and said we'd be in touch. Got home and realized that the kid never even took my phone number (though he made a copy of my license so I assume he entered me into their system). At least it saved me from random calls! I did make an inquiry on their website after the fact. Jennifer in the internet sales team was friendly & helpful. She seemed more able to track down a vehicle that would meet our needs. She was also able to provide much more competitive pricing. She followed up regularly but not too often to be annoying. Ultimately, we decided to spend a little more (though not a lot more) and got a Volvo XC90. But this reminded me once again that starting with the internet sales team is always the best method to car shop! read more

I still remember the most exciting day, the day that my Dad bought me my car here, I was so happy because I had been driving hand me down/grandmothers cars. I still remember being so ecstatic to have a beautiful white Toyota Corolla, which even though it was certified pre-owned, it had hardly any miles on it, and it was the most wonderful car that I've ever owned! I hardly ever needed to repair it other than the oil changes, routine maintenance and repairs that were needed because I wasn't a good driver and got into a few accidents. Looking back on it, it makes me sad, I should have taken better care of this great vehicle, which actually took great care of me. I have to say that I put a lot of faith into this car, I once fell asleep while driving and while the car was almost totaled, which devastated me... I was okay. In fact, I was more than okay, I had a few issues over the years but no broken bones, nothing too serious- my Corolla protected me and kept me safe even when I didn't...how lucky was I. If I had been driving one of my grandmothers old clunkers when this happened, I wouldn't be so lucky... Sadly, even though my car was repaired, there were issues and we decided to sell it. The day we sold it, I gave up many happy joyrides and much beloved freedom. I gave a way a piece of my heart when selling that wonderful car...as someone who used to drive a lot, it was a hard thing to do and I really miss it... Someday, I hope I get the courage to get back into driving...I miss the freedom, the joyrides, the happiness, getting my car washed and that amazing feeling of - that beautiful, special car, is mine! I know when I do decide to drive again, I will definitely think about getting a Toyota again. I couldn't have been happier with my choice of a car. On the mail it shows that your number matched one of the pokes and below that poke shown a prize of $2000. If you call them, they said nothing but told you to come. And then if you come, they just wrote all your massages down and SHOWN YOU A BOARD WITH ALL NUMBERS ARE DIFFERENT WITH MAIL! Last they said you won $2 but they do not have that small bill. I went to Bennett Toyota today, they are advertising a Tacoma truck for 259 a month with 259 down. I asked the sales person about it he had no clue, they not only advertise it on TV, they have it on their website. I wanted to know what truck it was. I am looking for an inexpensive truck. He kept saying let me go talk to the manager, who has time for games? I waited there 1/2 hour while he ran back and forth to his manager, without an answer. I left, thought I would just call later in the day and talk to someone who knows what promotions they are advertising. I call hit the button for sales, a woman answers does not identify herself, I say can I have sales, she says I am sales, I ask about the promotion they are advertising on the Tacoma truck, she blindly pushes me off to someone's voicemail. I call back an hour later, I get the same woman, I ask for sales she says again, I am sales, I said no you are not I called an hour before and you pushed me off to Alex's voicemail, I am not leaving messages, I want to talk to someone, she blindly pushes me off to another person's voicemail. I don't understand how a business can treat customers like this and expect to stay in business. I for one will never shop a Bennett car dealership again. Complete waste of time. read more

Leased a vehicle in 10/31/20. Tried to trade in the vehicle, called to get a payoff, found out that only a Bennett dealership can buy the vehicle or I can buy it. If I trade anywhere else, the payoff is 8000 more. (Market value). I should have been told this upfront. I had to call the lease company to see where this is notated on the lease agreement. Even if I read the entire lease, I would never have known, by the wording, that I was stuck, unless I go back to Bennett. This is bad business and I will never buy another vehicle from a Bennett dealership. read more
