I would have liked more time to enjoy the space. That, and the room running warm a couple of times during the night are the closest thing I have to a complaint. We booked direct, using an annual comp night as Platinum Rewards Members. The only charge was a CAD $6 parking fee.

I'm a firefighter up in Sault Ste Marie - I just moved here from Toronto - and before I could find a place to live, I needed somewhere to rest my head. They are locals and really great people. They also make themselves available 24/7, whether its for fresh towels in the morning or if you manage to lock your keys in your room at 2:30 a.m. (Sorry about that, guys!) If you find yourself in the Sault, you definitely cant go wrong staying at the Satelite.

Not a "five star hotel" by any means but works for those just passing through & has all the essentials so that's why I gave it 5 stars. Our room had 3 beds which was really nice for a family of 4 & the essentials included were ac, wifi, tv, microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, shampoo/soap & hot shower with good pressure so, we really had no complaints. I will say u might want to bring your own pillows & maybe some blankets. Traffic does get a little loud outside the window & you can hear your "neighbors" through the walls but, we're pretty heavy sleepers so that didn't really bother us but I know it might bother some ppl which is why I mentioned it. In the morning we went to "Oh Crepe & Coffee" for breakfast which was really good so I'd highly recommend going there for breakfast since it's so close & an easy way to start your day in the Soo.
