Since then, he's filmed two other weddings for people I know, and even though I wasn't even at those weddings, I still got really emotional watching their films. That's how good he is at telling the story of a wedding day. So when we finally had a date for our own wedding, Vinny was actually the first vendor I reached out to. I already knew that if there was one vendor I was willing to splurge on, it was going to be our videographer, because after the wedding is over, the video is one of the few things that lets you truly experience the day again. Vinny and his team captured our wedding weekend so beautifully. His edits are incredibly cinematic. I love the transitions, the drone shots, his signature ring shot, and especially the way he captures all of the little moments happening throughout the day. Your wedding goes by SO fast, and you can only be in one place at a time, so there were so many interactions and moments we either missed completely or didn't fully take in. Getting to see those afterward was one of my favorite parts of watching our films. And I really do mean films, because Vinny doesn't just send you a highlight reel and a bunch of footage. We received a 1-minute Instagram edit, a 10-minute feature film, a 2-hour documentary edit, AND all of the footage captured by his team. Each one gives us a different way to relive the wedding, and the amount of care and work that goes into putting everything together really shows. One of my favorite things is that the best friend whose wedding first introduced me to Vinny still watches her wedding video every year on her anniversary, now with her kids. I remember thinking about that when we booked him. I wanted something we'd actually want to watch again and again, not just footage we'd save somewhere and forget about. We absolutely love love love how our videos turned out. Vinny and his team were such a pleasure to work with, and we're so grateful for the time and care they put into capturing one of the most important weekends in our life. Crushpix was willing to step in and fulfill some 'community service hours' - and by "some," I mean over 50. They finished the job beautifully, including shooting more footage where it was necessary. These people are extremely detail oriented - no frame is except from editing it might need. They are artists - I found they were always thinking critically about how the final viewers will consume the video and adjusting it accordingly, sometimes with astonishing technical creativity. But more than that, they will not stop until they get it right. I never once felt like I had to "push" to get my video intense attention and quality control. At the same time, I was deeply respected and listened to the entire project through. And this whole experience was provided PRO-BONO. I wonder what paying clients get!!
