I have been a loyal Drug Crafters customer for over 10 years. During the course of this year, I have had multiple customer service problems. All of a sudden, they could not compound my medication and started sending me separate medication's requiring multiple injections The current staff seem to be complacent and arrogant about my issues. They would ship medication's to me with missing items. They sent a medication to me that needed to be refrigerated and never told me so I was injecting a placebo that was expired for over 6 months. My most recent experience with them was a medication delivery that needed to be refrigerated upon arrival and their delivery service called Pinnacle out of Houston, Texas. pinnacledelivery.com (not Frisco) delivered my package to the wrong address and provided no notification of the delivery to me. The following day, my neighbor brought the package to me and the cardboard box was completely wet and saturated. The package had been left outside in the 100° heat for 28 hours. Not only was the ice pack completely melted, but it was hot to the touch I called the pharmacy to complain, and I spoke directly to one of the pharmacist ladies who was so arrogant and rude, telling me that if I was unhappy, they would be glad to transfer my prescriptions to another pharmacy and I said that would be perfectly fine and I moved every prescription to Las Colinas Pharmacy. I also informed my Doctor Who said he will share this with the medical community and no longer recommend any patients to this pharmacy. I contacted the delivery service in Houston and they will not reply so I am pursuing legal counsel for them. PATIENTS AND DOCTORS BEWARE!!! read more

Ugh-I'm mad. First of all this pharmacy is out of my way. The whole point of having so many pharmacies is to choose the one close to you. BUT when you are getting old and need some strange medicine that's not covered by insurance and needs to be made in pharmacies like this one, well you don't have a lot of options. Which brings me to this place. First of all I'm upset I have to pay more because I'm used to paying 10$, 20$ maybe 30$ for my medication. Second of all I'm angrier at the extra driving. Then I arrive there and I ask the lady: do you guys have automatic refills? She answers no... Who doesn't have automatic refills in 2018?? Then I see a bag of pork chicharrones, all organic and fancy, I ask the price she says $2.50. Wow- I think, it's a deal. She runs it through the cash register- Oh no it's $5.50 . At this point I want them so of course I buy them. So no automatic refills, no coupons, over priced food items and my extra drive which I don't have time to do! I ask for the shipping options- I live in Frisco as well bear in mind- it's $10 fee... WHAT? It's the same town. My medicine barely weighs and yet $10 to ship to my home?? You know what I don't think so! I called my Dr and requested to have my prescription changed to another weird pharmacy here in Frisco. I'm going with the one off Main which I went to the website and not only they open on Saturdays until 3pm and weekdays until 7pm they also have AUTOMATIC refills done online!! And they have coupons!! Never again Drug Crafters, never again!! read more

Be very wary of this place. The staff and pharmacists can be very complacent and rude. This pharamacy contracts with doctors offices as many do for business but does not work well in conjuncture with said practice. They also do not work with you much, especially with any kind of mistake. There's a lot of miscommunication and they put it all back on the patient. Its been very frustrating to feel like you're being chastised for trying to get my compound right on the phone. I later learned these are practices of medical gaslighting. Even with a pandemic disclaimer they run super slow. It takes several days just for them to input your medication into their system for processing, let alone start making it. All in all Drug Crafters just does not care much for patient care. My doctors office insists hard on using them so I tried. I'm going to have to insist hard on changing. read more

I really enjoy picking up my monthly prescription at Drug Crafters. Every time I go in, the staff is always smiling and they make sure my prescription is on time. The front store is adorable. The service is not the best. I have had to drive from my home almost 45 min away only to be turned away because my medication is not ready when they said it would be. I know, I know, I should have called to follow up first but typically when a business says that something is or will be ready they should stand behind that date. I also recently learned that they do not test each batch of medication that they make, so it's potency could be off meaning the medication could be weaker than it is supposed to be. Not cool. I will be using a different pharmacy from now on, and I can always believe them when they say something is going to be ready. read more

I certainly understand construction and issues with systems how do you not be quick and try to help customers I have to wait over 20 mins in pain when I called emailed and there is not one person in place. Everyone is in the back chatting about their weekend! Are you kidding me? I'm in so much pain , but wait it is "standard protocol" of 20 mins. No apology or anything. You should be more sympathetic to people as we are paying out of pocket and how is it the customers fault on this. If I didn't have to come here I wouldn't. This pharmacy is great and I'm surprised at some of these recent comments. They are different than a regular pharmacy because they make the products in the lab located in the pharmacy and have even offered to let me see the lab when i asked about it. Every time I have called to refill my scripts they have been courteous and pleasant but they do explain it could be 24 to 48 business hours but they will text me as soon as my refills are ready. Many times they have been ready the very same day which is always unexpected but a pleasant surprise. I've had numerous scripts filled and I haven't had an issue. As a matter of practice, we never wait until the last minute to call in refills, but, my spouse lost them while we were out of town. This place is horrible! It happens to me every month now, I call the automated system and when I tried to verify if the prescription is ready they claim they did not receive it. I think the people that work here are really lazy and don't want to work. I can't sleep without the darn progesterone and estrogen. They still say, oh well too bad it will take two business days. This is really bad service. I asked for the manager and she said: I will have my IT person check, but offered no real solution. I recently discovered Drug Crafters Pharmacy in Frisco, TX. This compounding pharmacy is a gem. The people are friendly and the knowledge / consultations they provide are well above par. They MAKE THE MEDICINE from scratch. It is 100% specific to you. This enables them to take your specific allergies (or flavor wants) into consideration. The person I spoke to was courteous and my prescription was shipped quickly. My insurance does not cover the med and this pharmacy's price was very competitive. Called in a refill on Tuesday night. Called Wednesday morning and was told it is in the lab and will be ready first thing Thursday morning. Thursday morning called and was told it is in the lab and they will call me when it is ready. Husband stopped by at 3pm and was told 4:30. They finally called me Friday morning at 9:30 to say it was ready. I don't mind that it took a long time, but they need to give accurate estimates. We won't be going back. read more

I received a rx from Drug Crafters a couple of weeks ago. It was $28.00 which I thought was a great price. When I reordered and had it shipped to me I was quoted the same $28.00 price. That is not what my card was charged. They charged me $43.00! The price of the medication went up $15.00 and I was not informed and I specifically asked if the price was the same. When I called to ask about it they said there wasn't anything I could do since I didn't get the name of the person who quoted me.
