Everything about this Drury is great. The staff were really nice. The room was super clean and nice. The breakfast selection was plentiful and tasty. We stayed for one night. Upon arrival, we were given a voucher for three free alcohol tickets plus another for free brisket dinner (per room). I also hear this is a common thing for Drury Inn which is really cool. They also had cold/ hot breakfast. The free continental breakfast buffet consisted of: making breakfast burritos, sausage & biscuit gravy, diced potatoes, sausage, pastries, waffles, cereal, yogurt , juices, milk and coffee. The hotel room was very cozy. Each room has a small mini refrigerator, coffee maker, normal size bath tub, desk, tv , iron and hair dryer. Absolutely no complaints. Next time we come to visit the in-laws- I'll definitely stay here again. read more

Was pleasantly surprised with my stay here. -Free hot food and cold beverages for a period starting at 5:30pm aka The Manager's Reception at another well-known hotel chain. There was enough real food that I could have made a meal out of it. -Hot breakfast, including waffles you make, sausage gravy and biscuits and other goodies -Free internet -popcorn and cold soft drinks available for snacking The decor was a little dated, but I was there to work, not for enjoying the decor. The service was friendly as expected, although a little slow. I look forward to enjoying other Drury properties in the future, and I don't say this lightly. Had to use this place due to a funeral in the family. I used Bringfido.com. The web site stated small pet fee. So lets get started. I paid $140 for the room. When we arrived we were informed of a $40 pet fee and a $50 incidentals deposit. $179.72 was billed to card. So $230 bucks. Our room was down at the end of the hall. The hall has a door that slams shut when people use it. So we got woke up every time some one used it. To add to it, we were on the side the pool was. It sounded like Paul Bunion was making the worlds largest pot of coffee all night long. Pet rules. Can not leave pet in room un attended. Can not have pet in common areas. Can not use pool area with pet in area. (tied up or in a carrier) Have to use rear exit and stair well to come and go with pet. Basically you can not use their facilities if you have a pet. but yet they still charge a normal price. Don't see myself returning. For the price La Quinta or another motel would be better. read more

I recently made a trip down to Cape Girardeau for a concert and didn't want to have to make the drive back home after the show so I decided to book a Drury Hotel. This was slightly outside of Cape, however the price was right. I actually like Drury Hotels, and have actually stay at one when visiting family in Ohio. Some of the perks include an evening happy hour with two free drinks and light appetizers, however it is possible to make a light meal out of some of the options. Soda is free during happy hour too. Another bonus is free breakfast, which is actually pretty good for hotel food. Your standard items like eggs, sausage and bacon are available along with a make your own waffle station. Other items like yogurt, fruit and ceral are also available. The staff here was more than friendly, however this is an older location that could use some updating. The room was comfortable, and free wifi was also available however the tv did not offer clear reception and almost all of the channels had static and were blurry this wasn't a huge deal however it would be disappointing for those staying more than a night. Overall this was a decent stay and offered good value, I didnt get to use the gym or pools however they both looked clean and inviting. read more

Had to use my hotspot and even that was not very good either. As cheap hotels go, this has got to be one of the best that I've stayed in for less than 90$ per night. I've stayed at Super 8's for about the same money and Drury Inn is a gallion times better. They sure do like to give away free food and booze here. Not that it's anything of real quality ,but for free I guess one cannot complain all that much: 1. Breakfast is a full hot one with all your Midwestern favorites (i.e. biscuits & gravy), and the standards of cereal, oatmeal, make-your-own Belgian waffles, etc. 2. In the afternoon they have a big popcorn machine and soda machine running and people just take as much as they want. 3. They host a Happy Hour that is a hot buffet consisting of mac n' cheese, hot wings, baked potatoes, and the like, as well as 3 free booze drinks each evening. The beer is Bud Light and the wine is cheap but the mixed drinks weren't that bad. The staff is incredibly pleasant. The moment they see you it's either "Good Morning!", or "Good Afternoon!", or "How are you doing today?". As for ambiance and decor, this is family friendly hotel off the interstate in a small town in Southern Missouri -- it's basically what one would expect -- looks like a redecoration was down sometime in the early 90's. Though, I do have to say that the king bed that we had was fantastic. And the place is super clean. The Drury Inn is a great option for when staying in the Jackson or Cape Girardeau area. read more

Even though the delivery guy had our room number, the front desk called to ensure we ordered before letting them proceed to our room. Would definitely stay again!!! read more

We stayed at Drury Inn for 2 nights to attend a family wedding. This is a very nice, clean hotel and the staff was excellent! Great breakfast, popcorn in the afternoons, free drinks in the evenings. After staying here 6+ times in the last year, and ignoring the awful food and the way it stank up the entire hotel because I admired that they were keeping a unique vintage establishment going, I will return NO MORE. Made a reservation Wednesday through their "corporate order desk." Told them It was an emergency trip and I would ONLY had or would have cash. NO PROBLEM! Took a debit card number "just to hold the reservation" with promise that it WOULD NOT BE CHARGED. Arrived after a very long day with a doctor appointment and orders to get to room and ice knee for most 24 hours. They would not allow me to check in because "some people pay cash and trash the room." Now, forget that I had stayed there repeatedly over recent years. This after I had to tromp in through their loose rock garden as the entryway was taken up by remodeling engineers or something. I'm 58, overweight and had a bad knee. It got ugly fast. One of the women peeked out and grinned and giggled. Another told me to watch my language as there were "others present." I told her I thought they should hear how the place operated. I should mention that in all of my visits I think I found the "General Manager" to be "in" only ONCE. I called the corporate office from my car. Only 3 "Customer Service" agents for the entire chain. (They claim it's because they get few complaints, yet you can only leave a message and get a call-back.) After 7 attempts, I got through. Everyone I spoke with understood that this was a lot more than an inconvenience, but they "had a firm policy." I asked why I wasn't told of this "policy" and received a DIFFERENT answer from each person, including "we don't tell everyone about it." Holy Cow. Finally "Direct Supervisor" apparently decreed that they offer NOTHING in return for the "inconvenience" or the fact that their own agent told me that all was fine and ready. NEVER. NEVER AGAIN WITH ANY DRURY INN ESTABLISHMENT! read more

This is a good place to stay. Room was clean and quiet and staff was friendly. What really puts it over the top is the food and drinks. Dinner was not more than average, but it kept us from having to go out and look for a place to eat and probably saved the two of us at least $25. Breakfast was excellent. read more

This hotel was an amazing, pleasant surprise. I had seen it from the highway many times and, because the price was $30-50 lower than similar hotels in Cape, I assumed it was well past its prime... That was not even remotely true. It's a gem: from the clean and modern lobby, to friendly and efficient front desk, to the modern suite we stayed in (I think it was 9 bucks more than a regular room) to the morning breakfast food and staff. I have stayed in Hyatts that were not this nice. The free soda and popcorn into the evening were a nice plus. Did I mention the modern, well-maintained bathroom? My only surprise was the soap and shampoo "pumps" in the shower, but so what? If I am coming this way again, I will surely try to stay here. read more

I have always had a good experience at Drury Inns! They are all very clean, have super comfortable beds and have a lot of food options for dinner and breakfast, plus free drinks! The only concern I had was when I was travelling with my elderly parents and we asked for a handicap accessible room. The room was very nice with a wide entry and bars by the toilet and bathtub. The problem was my dad uses a walker, not a wheelchair and the room was at the end of a very long hallway. We should have asked for a room near the lobby. We will know better next time. I will always look for a Drury Inn if we can. read more
