The staff are also super friendly, professional, and welcoming. Funnily enough, I got the same room for both of my visits which was well-kept and had a nice bathroom. The room had a work desk and chair which I appreciated. There was an abundance of power outlets available around the room. The shower was fairly spacious and had a place to sit. The lighting was a bit dark (which I didn't mind) and the air conditioning was perfect. The complimentary breakfast is nice and I enjoyed having biscuits and gravy every morning. They also offer cookies in the evening, though I never partook myself. It's close to many stores and restaurants which makes it convenient to eat out and do some shopping nearby. This will be my go-to hotel from now on!

We stayed here twice this week, once on the way to Texas and once on the way home. Our experience is that it was serviceable for our family. Nothing special. The breakfast was a bit sparse. There were other little details that were lacking. The hotel sign for instance hasn't been put up yet and the poles are still sitting there. The outside entrance at the end of the hall on the first floor has not had its lock installed yet, etc. My biggest complaint is that the beds are extremely firm. I woke up both nights with a sore back. It doesn't seem to bother the kids though. We didn't try the pool, so no comments there. Would we come back? If we had to, but we are going to look elsewhere first.

The breakfast area,floor, and tables haven't been mopped or wiped down. Again, the lady at the front desk was MIA. Breakfast is supposed to be till 10am and on Sunday, the front desk decided not to make sure there was food there for people who sleep a little later or are unable to get to breakfast till close to the end. Here is the deal, I hope I never need to stay there again, for what we paid, wasn't worth it.

I found this place on a 3rd party booking site while looking for hotels in the area and really…read moreliked the set up of the hotel in the pictures. When we got here at about 7pm, we were greeted instantly by a front desk clerk who was really friendly and quick. Check in was such an easy process, which was really helpful since I had a 5 year old who was dying to swim after spending 10 hours in the car with the promise of the end goal being to swim at the hotel. The hotel lobby and hallways were all really clean and well maintained, and the room was nice but I was really surprised at the size of the bathroom. Everything was well stocked and the shower worked amazing. The pool area was clean, it was nice that there was a baby pool that's 1.5' deep attached to the pool. While the pool area felt a little crowded because of all the people there, everyone was really nice who was in that area. While the friendliness of the guests isn't a reflection of the hotel itself it is a helpful reflection of the travelers that go through the area. There is a handful of restaurants nearby with Red Lobster and Olive Garden literally being in the same parking lot. We walked to Olive Garden in about 2 minutes. The continental breakfast was ready and out by 6am start time, and was pretty decent. They had a good selection of breads, pastries, cereal, fruit, yogurt, waffle makers, eggs & sausage and biscuits & gravy. I'd definitely stay here again if I'm in the area, and I'd recommend it to anyone staying with kids.

In that whole pan, the generous serving of pasta I got had only one little bitty piece of chicken. The roasted veggies were ok. The mashed potatoes and short ribs were very good. Desserts were put on a couple o tables in the banquet room and what i had was good--when you could get it. 3 trips before the actually had some dessert on the table-there was suppose to be a choice of several different type-but when there wer only a couple of plates on the table -no choices, just the one. soemhow I think planning on serving desserts was not well planned, especially for those in attendence that had some disabiliies and had a difficult time getting through the buffet line and to the dessert table.-luckily, it was something I liked. The only coffee they served was decaf. I know many people want decaf in the evenings, but I can't stand decaf. we asked about regular coffee and were told they only had decaf.
