I was very disappointed and upset with the arrangement Roses are Red sent to my friend. It really…read moredid not look like a $99 bouquet. I understand identical flowers to those illustrated on the website can't always be used but I did not feel that what was sent(photo 1) was comparable at all to what I believed I was purchasing from the website(photo 2). This bouquet was supposed to be a special surprise for my friend celebrating a special event that I couldn't attend. I just feel upset and embarrassed at what she received. When I raised my concerns with Roses are Red, they seemed more focussed on the flowers lasting 7 days than on how they looked, value for money, and how I felt as the customer, instead they insisted on justifying and defending themselves rather than showing any level of understanding for my disappointment and why that was. They said that they could not replicate the bouquet on the website as the flowers were not in season(Hydrangeas and Sunflowers) then when I challenged this with evidence that they were in season, they made excuses as to why they would not use them. After pressure from me they offered me a $30 refund. I would never recommend this company.

I usually stop by every couple of weeks and have a quick scan around, as the range of different things they stock is wide enough that a lot of the time I'll have an idea for a prank or present and grab something from them. Selling everything from beautiful picture frames, motivational wall plaques and crockery sets to sex games, drinking hats (Been looking for those) and penis straws (Haven't been looking for those) all at reasonable prices with regular sales, they're always worth a drop in to check out what they have in now, as the stock rotates pretty frequently. It's an easy place to overlook, but you shouldn't for that last minute gift that will make you look much more thoughtful than you are.

I rang up to complain and the lady hung up on me. Terrible customer service. Don't order from this company.
