The kaiser bun is so soft, the meat is freshly sliced then stacked high, options of mustard, cheeses, lettuce and tomato. It is quite the exercise for old jaw to unhinge to its max to make way for enjoyment of his meat combos. His famous Roast Beef is cooked to a rare-medium, not well done like at the supermarket. I would have preferred a horseradish Mayo instead of the mustard, maybe you can ask if that's an option on your next visit. The Fight Club is an assortment of meats, and for $8.50 it's a great deal. Now these are not Foodie sandwiches, nothing extra unique to be discovered, it's just fresh, quality and made with a smile for you. They also sell frozen meals and soups to go. I have a heavy tray of Eggplant Parm in the freezer, will comment on that after it's gets baked. I'm ordering a sandwich platter for a potluck, he makes the traditional sliced bread, deli meat triangles or sliders from his wall menu(these are $3.50 each).

Super homey feeling and the blackboard styled menu was cool. Owner seemed nice as well. For my order I got takeout on the Friday special - Hot roast beef sandwich ($8) and a chicken samosa ($2). I think I enjoyed the sandwich a decent bit. Definitely fair priced and came with lettuce, onions, and cheese. However, the sandwich was super greasy and when we ordered, he just microwaved it lol. At least subway will put it in an oven. The samosa was pretty tasty though. Overall, I think my experience lacked a bit but maybe their cold roast beef is better (but it also wasn't available when I went). 3.5/5 stars.

I was looking for a place to do some studying cafe, and I decided to stop by STAE Cafe!…read more STAE Cafe was quite busy when I walked in. There's about 7 or 8 tables available, and I sat down at one of the smaller tables since those were the only ones available. There's QR codes on each table so you can order what you want through your phone. They also deliver your food/drinks to your table. I ordered the blueberry matcha latte, which I was pleasantly surprised about! It had just the right amount of sweetness, and the blueberry flavour pairs so well with the matcha. I'd definitely order it again! There is a 75 minute seating policy. however, I'm not too sure if they strictly enforce that. I did work for about an hour and there were people who came before me that were still there. It is a very busy cafe, so if you can't study in a noisy area, I would recommend bringing noise-cancelling headphones or going to a different cafe. Overall, the cafe has a great aesthetic and a short but quality menu. I'll be back when I'm craving a decent matcha!

I was blown away by the quality of the subs. WOW. Every sub was PACKED to the brim w/ goodies. No skimping out on ingredients. Tons of meat, tons of veggies, tons of sauce. For the hot subs, the meat was sooooo soft and easy to swallow. I had a bite of my friends' subs and they were all super delicious. The chicken in the captains club was so juicy. The beef in the smokehouse sub was melt in the mouth. The bread on all subs was toasted. They also have one of those nice machines w/ tons of different soda options to choose from (peach mello yellow zero SUPER UNDERRATED). Shoutout to Donte who helped me with my order as a first-timer to this store! Love that I was able to stack a bunch of extra add-ons for no additional charge. Also loved that every sub came w/ a dill pickle on the side (the pickles were delicious too). I was tempted to upgrade my bun to garlic bread but that'll be for another visit. In terms of price, it is premiumly priced at around $20-25 per sub which is expensive tbh. Does the quality justify that price tag? I would actually have to say yea it does! SOOOOO much meat packed into every sub. AND the employees don't treat you like dirt (*cough cough* Jersey Mike's, Subway and Mr. Sub I'm looking at you guys). Sooo jelly that there isn't a location closer to me at all but I signed up for the rewards program right away. MY GOD. Best subs I've had in recent memory.

He recommended the beef brisket which is the most popular and I can see why. The meat is perfectly smoked and matches so well with the cheddar cheese. Added carmelized onions. Amazing. The worker was friendly, approachable and was able to explain highlight recommended menu items. Ordered the pistachio latte which was pleasant, not so sweet and yummy! Cozy, cute, but limited seating space. Would recommend if you're working alone or with one other person. Not enough space for big groups. They have a sign outside promoting the first 3 customers get dessert/bagel/croissant, but don't honour it. I was first in the store, not because I was trying to get the promo, but the lady behind me came actively trying to get the promo. Instead of the items promised, and only after asking, they reluctantly handed us panda keychains. The lady asked again for the promo after she got her order and they told her that they weren't giving the food items because keychains are more useful. She then asked them to remove the sign for false advertising, they (angrily) said they would, yet the sign continues to be outside half an hour later. You really shouldn't be making promises you can't keep, and getting upset at your customers for it. Please consider removing this false advertising sign and just letting your cafe and food speak for itself. If it wasn't for this, this cafe would be 4 or 5 stars, but the fake promo and dishonesty has really soured my experience here.

After paying and taking a seat, it dawned on me that my order was oddly expensive as it costed me $12 extra to make my sandwich a combo, whereas it costed my buddy only $2.50 to do the same to his. After inquiring about the discrepancy to the worker, she tried to pass it off as something that's in the system. Not willing to take it as it is, I finally got her to get a hold of a manager who over the phone conceded that there is a problem with the prices in the system. In the end, the worker was directed to issue an $8 refund which I accepted without fuss, even though that still equates to $4 to make the combo which is more than $2.50. The way they're running this place is comically inept. Prices aren't clearly posted, the online ordering portal doesn't function, and the food prep time is extremely slow. I really hope they get things together, because the chicken however is actually quite good.

I ordered a large chai latte that cost $4.00 exact ($3.80 excl. tax). The latte itself was yummy - I wish it were a bit hotter though so that the heat would last longer throughout my study time at the library. I like that Cornell Community Centre & Library has decided to partner with this cafe company - it's a nice change from other community centre food stands that offer the typical junk food fare and a great change from other big-brand cafes. I can't wait to come back and make the Cornell library my study place - knowing there's a nearby place for sandwiches, pastries, and coffee will make my study time here at Cornell worthwhile.
