I called Kal to see if he could help repair my Echo gas weed trimmer. He doesn't work on them…read moreanymore because it's usually the same issue. He told me over the phone exactly what to do. Get all the gas out, pump the gas through the carburetor. Then let it sit overnight, replace the spark plug and clean the air filter. I really appreciate the time he took to help me out and without charging me a dime. I went to Home Depot and they had an Echo maintenance kit with the spark plug, new filter and a new fuel filter for $20. I installed it all in 5 minutes and followed Kal's instructions.
