I was calling daily trying to get my roof scheduled. My house was hit with a tree during Helene and none of the interior could get done until the roof was done. They didn't even start my house till end of March - which I was pissed. Again calling every week, no responses, but they had my money and I was stuck. Then they tried to skirt the system and not have the trusses inspected. Donny - been doing this my whole career- tried to play dumb and was a jerk. I had to hire a structural engineer, I had to find all their mistakes to get them to fix it, and it put me behind another month. All because they took on too many jobs, money hungry, while people are just trying to rebuild and MOVE HOME after their home was destroyed. They couldn't care less, tried to avoid inspection, did shitty work, and now I'm stuck with it. I WISH I NEVER HIRED THIS COMPANY. AWFUL COMMUNICATION. Everyone blames everyone else. We decided to have solar panels and a PowerWall 3 installed at our Living Stone house. As the installation company has done their site inspections and installation, they've been very complimentary on the readiness of our house for solar installation. In particular they mentioned the spare conduit going from the electrical box up to the garage attic. And also the fact that the electrical box was already split into two zones on the back end with a tie bar -- making it very easy for them to do what they need to do. They said I had the best house for solar that they'd ever seen (although some of that may have to do with our southern exposure!). I've used Angie's list to look for contractors and it's been an absolute disappointment in every way. So, since I'm an Elite Yelper, I decided to give my own platform a try to see what I could come up with. I went to the YELP page and clicked on the "Projects" tab. I put my needs in a quote request and within 3 hours, I had my first two quotes. The third company took two days to get back to me, so needless to say, I struck that one off the list. Cezar & Paula Chavez are a husband/wife team. They own All-Shine Window Cleaning. They gave me a quote that was comparable to the other business that gave me a quote, but this business was different. They were enthusiastic, explained their services and what to expect, then gave me a quote and explained everything that I could expect. They are also independently owned which gave me an opportunity to give back to the community where I live. They arrived on the day of the appointment at 9:00 am: right on time. I am really a stickler on this one. I met Cezar and then walked him through the house showing which windows needed to be cleaned. Then, he and his wife, Paula, worked their magic. They were so meticulous. Paula did the inside of the windows, including the sills and Cezar did the outside. They are a great team. I can't tell you how pleased I was with their work ethic and finished job. I'll definitely use them again, but this time, I won't wait so long between window cleanings.
