Rob returned multiple times to check on us and to bring additional equipment. He made sure that the moisture meter results were in line with the standards until he presented his invoice for payment. He documented and explained his work. I'd send him to my older relatives, clueless about water remediation, in a heartbeat knowing that Rob would be honest and attentive. I would not recommend this company. I got two estimates one from Restoration1 Summit and one from…read moreRestoration1 Freehold, both estimates were close (difference of a couple of $100) and I chose Freehold because they were closer. They revised their estimate twice without copying me on the revision and submitting directly to the insurance company. The revisions resulted in a 70% increase. In addition they broke a piece of my furniture, put a large crack in my bedroom ceiling chipped my stairs and then accused me of it being there before they started the work. When I asked to speak with the owner it took over three weeks to get a call back and i never actually spoke to the owner. As I waited to hear back I sent a check in the amount of the original estimate in good faith but did not think it was acceptable that an estimate should be off by that amount. In addition I had to fight to get the remediation done correctly and they actually had to come back to finish what should have been done on the first day. They threatened liens on my property and stated since insurance was covering it they did nothing wrong. Lets just start with their inability to estimate accurately, their delay in responding and then the threatening property liens. Not a company that I would recommend to anyone.
