John Condon is a top-notch professional who knew his wood products with expertise. He offered a wide selection of options for us to choose from and ultimately steered us to make the best choice for our home. We did have a serious mishap where the initial wood we ordered was not being delivered on time for our install date which would have disrupted the entire work schedule like a house of cards. John helped us choose an alternative product and personally came to help install an alternative and actually superior wood product choice on the Sunday after Thanksgiving to keep our schedule intact. You don't see that kind of dedication and commitment to customer service these days! In terms of the work product, the install crew did an excellent job in the staining of the floors to meet our wishes. They took extra care not to stain our installed cabinets. Unfortunately, the third visit was a very different experience. Although I had provided a clear photo of the flooring, the installer assumed it was another type. When he realized his mistake, he became frustrated and abruptly raised the price on the spot, saying that if I didn't agree, he would leave. It came across as a bait-and-switch and was highly unprofessional. I informed the owner but received no response, which suggests this behavior is acceptable. I had planned to use the company for future projects, but after this experience, I will not. This level of conduct is unethical and unacceptable in a professional business.

Broke the wall, cabinet and pipe under sink(yes) while removing flooring. Don't hire them without reading this entire review. Financial and emotionally draining and damaging. See the pictures, they already charge me for floor removal(vinyl and laminate) And leveling and prepping. Reason they want to upcharge me. 1) Coz its laminate under the vinyl we have to charge you more. 2)we can only remove some portion of it coz it so difficult to remove and have to level it so we have to charge you more( they already charge for leveling see picture below) 3) you are asking for underpayment we have to charge you more. (already charged me prepping) 4) this job is too small we have to charge you more. Literally finding reason to charge me more and blaming me more upcharge. For floor popping. It started next day after installation and I saw it and hoping it won't get worse but it got worse the day after started falling apart. Now everywhere I walk I hear pop and falling apart and it's just been 2 days. and I know they will blame me coz I ask for underpayment but during installation, I heard other guys ask to Brandon about removing this... point to floor (debris and uneven things sticking on floor) and he said no.. she want underpayment so they don't have to prep or even out the floor and make it free from debris coz they were not going to warranty flooring so its ok to bad job. And I know they will blame the customer if flooring breaks. I saw that in previous one star review. While removing flooring, they were so aggressive literally broke one of my cabinet and wall in the kitchen closet.( see the picture) Rip the carpet and flooring in the closet and living room. Pipe in the kitchen broke, dishwasher stop working. I had to call plumber to fix it. Such sloppy job, left portion of previous flooring under cabinet and try to hide it with hanging baseboard. For the money I put in, I was surely expecting better quality than this. Spending thousands of dollars for flooring and installation down the drain. I never dealt with such dishonest bunch of people in my life. I would give them negative rating. Just horrible. If you love your house don't hire them.

I spoke to an elderly Asian male and let him know that I was a returning repeat customer. The guy told me the business was under new ownership but assured me he'd work with me on pricing. After selecting a granite slab, we sat down to discuss costs. Unfortunately, the conversation quickly became frustrating. The guy quoted me a price of over $60 per square foot, which I found to be unreasonably high, especially since competitors were offering similar materials in the $50 range, with additional discounts for larger projects. What really rubbed me the wrong way was the way pricing was negotiated. Instead of being straightforward, he put on a performance--asking a Mexican woman behind the counter, who I knew to be an employee from previously, if she could approve a better price. He clearly was pretending as if he didn't have final say on the cost, even though I knew he was the boss. After clearing it with this "employee" he agreed to take off a nominal $3 per square feet. I asked if he would agree to throw in a free sink, as advertised, and he did this same song and dance show where he needed to clear it first with his fake boss. Seeing through his bs, I asked about Mimi, his counterpart whom I had better dealings with in the past. He told me she was no longer with the company due to the change in ownership. However, when I returned to the yard later to look at another slab, a worker mentioned that Mimi was still employed but just off that day. That inconsistency confirmed my growing doubts about this guy. At that point, I decided to walk away. I told the owner I'd think about it and ended up taking my business elsewhere. It's unfortunate, but the lack of transparency and the pricing games they played have cost them a loyal customer. If these guys wants to stay in business he should really let Mimi run the show.
