I know it's like a joke getting contactors in but it's not terribly funny when it happens to you. The quality of the work was 5 stars. no ifs ands or buts. hole fixed, ceiling painted no fuss no muss no mess. It looks great. The office paperwork side was less so. it was a 2 maybe a 3. It was hard to get an estimate, e-mails sent were apparently missed, the office staff was disorganized- and I'm being polite. it was disorganized to the point I felt like they didn't want my business. and setting a date for the work was only marginally less stressful than Noah booking seats on the ark. When the workmen showed up, they had no work order, I got no receipt or anything at all, and they barely spoke English leading to a few misunderstandings. So the work was absolutely first rate but my God, it was a challenge getting it going.

Contacted Drywall Tech to estimate a small one wall repair to my living room via text and live…read morephone call. Was told they would come to my house on certain date/time. Never showed or contacted me back as to why they didn't show or to reschedule. I went with a different vendor for my repair. Apparently this vendor only wants large jobs so if you have something smaller, do not bother to contact as it will just waste your time.

I have to admit that I procrastinated until October to research and find contactors. My Son had passed two years before and it was hard for me to move forward with renovating his bedroom. Fortunately for me a house right across the street from mine was getting their exterior renovated. New paint job,front steps repaired the works. It looks great! When I saw their sign on my neighbors lawn I realized that I'd seen their sign on a couple of lawns in the neighborhood and wrote down the number and gave Usman a call. He came over the next day and gave me an estimate and assured me that the bedroom would be completed on time for my sister's November arrival. His workers demolished old drywall&plaster in the ceiling. Installed new dryway,tape and spackle,fixed cracks,nail holes and all imperfections. Also painted the ceiling,walls,doors and trim for a reasonable price. If that wasn't enough my sister has a Queen bed and I didn't think the box spring would make it up the steps due to the low ceiling on the stairs. The crew came back another day and was able to raise the ceiling enough for the mattress and box spring to fit. The workers covered up everything and cleaned up when the job was finished on time for my sister's arrival. The workers were a pleasure to work with. He huffed and puffed about cc'ing a second email so god knows what he would be like on the job if he had to do something mildly inconvenient. I was completely baffled how this man turned into a child before my very eyes." All of the contractors I've dealt with with the exception of Beauty Walls - have enjoyed back and forth communication, and being very communicative and clear. Sviat literally told us "I'm not in the communications department" on one of his bad days where he was 'inconvenienced' by having to respond to our emails and requests. He rage deleted our project from his system, and when we asked him about it he said that he let his emotions get the best of him and shouldn't have done it in the moment (see more later). Dealing with him and his business delayed our move in date by a month. A prime example of communications with him will be ie - send email Monday, no reply, we follow up Wednesday, then he replies, then we respond within minutes to hours, and have to follow up again Friday for an update. We were going to try to make it work with him - since he did our floors for another property many years ago and went without hiccup. He emailed us (this is copy and pasted: " I made a mistake deleting that estimate, I started again and I'm not able to overcome my emotions. Sorry I can't do your floors. There are good companies on Yelp.com or Angi.com with trustful reviews. We can do painting for you after the floors are done" I would recommend this business if you are ok dealing with this unprofessionalism and childlike behavior As soon as we moved onto quotes from 2 other businesses, WOW night and day. Very communicative, no babysitting and having to follow up for responses, and even more - wow no complaining about having to communicate?! Bonkers. Such a horrible experience, when I really wanted to initially support an independent family business.

They prepped and painted two rooms, including the baseboards, trim and ceiling. They replaced and painted a set of closet doors and replaced the rickety attic stairs.
