However, she immediately started to invite me to her church. This continued even after I told her I was already affiliated with a church. Her behavior continued and culminated in her literally laying hands on me to "pray for me". She did this when I was reclined and she was washing my hair making it difficult for me to physically stop her. I told her to stop as I didn't share her beliefs. Things started to get worse from this point. She even had her husband come into the salon to tell me I should appreciate that his wife was even doing my hair. This was not the only examples of her unprofessional behavior. I noticed she never let me watch her in the mirror and that a friend recently commented on how my hair was damaged in the back. She was always trying to give me medical advice on the use of vitamin supplements. She would ask me very personal financial questions and then started commenting on political issues. I finally told her I didn't share her opinions and asked her to not discuss politics. Then the final straw was when she asked me if my values caused problems with my children and grandchildren! I was actually shocked that she would ask such a judgemental question!! The implication was clear - I must have no values or morals since I didn't agree with her religion and political views. And mind you I never talked about religion or politics. A beautician should not give out medical advice on the use of vitamin supplements and should NEVER lay their hands on you and start praying for you. This is NEVER ok.

I was introduced to her by my roommate over a year ago, and, since then, I've converted many of my friends and we all adore her!! Aside from being the cutest, sweetest, most pleasant person in the world- her prices are extremely fair for the incredible quality of work she does. I always book my appointments with her after each session and that works well for me. She is the type of person genuinely cares for her clients. I am always greeted with a hug and asked what is new in my life. It is always such a pleasure to visit her and the beautiful salon! Cannot recommend her enough! Aside from Kristin being wonderful, throughout the past year and a half that I've been a client, I've interacted with many of the other stylists there. EVERY SINGLE PERSON that works there is outstanding. Jamie is incredibly sweet and always has a smile on her face. Christine Hill is AMAZING!…read more To be honest, I had no idea where Christine's process was going with my hair, even after we had a lengthy conversation about what I was looking for as a result. I even joked with her, "I'm not going to want to shave my head after this, am I ?". Yes, a joke but not having gone to a professional salon in several years...a joke not a joke? I'm 64 with a lot of grey that in the past, I cut/colored myself... Suffice it say, it was damaged, brassy, and had a hard demarkation from the grow out. I put blind faith in Christine today and once she was through, I almost couldn't believe it. Not only did she listen and pay attention to our initial conversation, it was Obvious that she absolutely knows what she is doing and has been in the industry long enough to show it. Christine is very personable, easy to talk with, and is a real person with nothing to prove. I can't say enough about Christine as a person, and the results of her work with my hair is just a snippet as to her overall talents.
