This establishment offers: a full basketball court gymnasium, seating in the gym, a full kitchen, meeting rooms, a fitness center, office space etc. It is beautiful inside. Consider this place for all your event space needs at a great price. The Family Life Center is located adjacent to the main sanctuary. Plenty of parking and the entrance is handicap accessible as well. I attended the Grand Opening on a Friday night and the gymnasium was transformed into a reception area for 100+ attendees. There was still room to feature a live band that consisted of at least 5 members. I am loving it! The vibe is awesome and I cannot wait to use all the amenities this center offers. This two level center has stairs as well as elevator access. Have fun and enjoy life :)

Lori and Tania have been incredibly helpful and so pleasant to work with. Most recently, I hosted a gathering for 20+ employees and selected YG's heavy hors d'oeuvres option. A gentleman arrived right on time and set up everything as requested. Bonus - we can't use open sterno and YG brought a flameless option for hot foods. Hours later, it was still piping hot! The buffet included ham biscuits with a sweet jam on the most flavorful cheddar herb biscuits I've tasted! Also served were meatballs with mozzarella and marinara, chickpea cakes with pesto, spinach dip with crostini and pita bread, brie en croute with dried fruits, almonds and crackers and a Mexican cookie dessert tray with chocolate dip. Everything was beautifully displayed and so delicious! We had plenty of leftovers as well, which will be meals for days. I look forward to using Yummy Goodness for future events.

I do not know any details of prices, menus, etc. My review is solely on the the venue itself, including the parking, location, and presentation. Parking is a bit cramped. The decoration was beautiful! There was one door in the back that led to a private dressing room where the wedding party was able to change in. There are two separate bathrooms inside. I'm not completely sure how much of the decor, food (if at all), chairs and tables, etc were part of the rental of this venue but it was a beautiful wedding. We recently held a Breakfast at this center and their service was below average. Due to management change they didn't uphold agreed upon things on our contract. We asked for two buffet lines due to the amount of people we had and the time we had the venue for they could not honor that. We arrived the morning of 1) our event name was spelled wrong on the display screen 2) the room was not setup 3) there were unset tables 4) chairs were dirty 5) they let the food run low on the buffet and 6) the parking is horrible. Last but not least, the food/room quality. The food was fantastic. Everyone at the event raived about the food qaulity. Also, the room was clean and the staff was extremely professional and helpful. As the mother of the groom, I watched the day unfold from behind the scenes. There were multiple issues throughout the event, including late chair delivery, incorrect tablecloths, hors d'oeuvres that never made it to many guests, buffet items that ran out before everyone was served, and desserts that many guests--including the bride and groom--never received. Our day-of coordinator also had to step in several times to clear plates, refill the buffet, and manage tasks that should have been handled by the catering staff. We understand that no wedding is perfect, but the level of disorganization was disappointing. One staff member was even socializing with guests and asking if he could join the dancing, which felt very unprofessional. To the owner's credit, she met with my son and daughter-in-law afterward, but the resolution offered did not reflect the impact these issues had on such an important day. There are so many outstanding wedding caterers in the Hampton Roads area. Before making such a significant investment with this company, I encourage couples to do their research, compare several companies, and read recent reviews carefully. I hope this helps other couples make an informed decision.

My go-to is the chicken salad with basil mayo and onion, and baby...that is my JAM. My 10-year-old son is hooked on the Santa Fe chicken sandwich, which was actually suggested by the cashier. So shoutout to the staff for casually creating a whole new household favorite. Sweet, refreshing, and dangerously easy to drink way too fast. The place itself is always clean, bright, and comfortable.
