Absolutely an excellent company to work with! Very professional. We had a major water leak with flooring damage and within 24 hours they cleaned it up and mitigated further damage. Service Requested I had Dry Maxx come to my house to give me an estimate on Nov 8, 2023. The man who came out was very nice and I learned alot from him. I have called DryMaxx three times to let them know I never received an estimate. The girl I spoke to was polite and said she'd let them know. To date, over a month later (12/14/2023), I still do not have an estimate and I am NOT going to call them again to inquire. Perhaps someone is trying to tell me something? When I initially (Summer 2021) called them when I was with Angi's I got a speedy estimate. I have since canceled Angi's as they were a PEST and very annoying with daily phone calls and e-mails. Their estimate was more than I anticipated and they didn't have a payment plan. The man who came out said they now have a company that will do 12 months no interest which I was a happy about. I have been trying for 2 years to get this job done and had thought DryMaxx was the solution, however, if they can't even bother to send me an estimate in a timely manner I do NOT want to hire them. read more

Hired this company back in 2018 to restore my condo to liveable condition after severe water damage from above unit. I read good reviews from another site and gave DryMaxx Ohio my business. I could focus on what this company did wrong, but will only state what I have learned from my experience: use only companies that friends and family recommend. I learned that companies create their own fake reviews on these sites that prey on vulnerable people. We all want the best work for the best price so use these sites to weed out unfavorable outcomes. This review is to relay the exemplary compassion and generosity of this company, in addition to it's efficiency and stellar work. Recently, our family suffered a tragedy. They were referred to us by the officials. Not only did they do the work, they did so selflessly and showed a great deal of compassion. I have an open insurance claim with Dry Maxx as the water restoration and drywall contractor on a rental property I own and let me tell you it's been a nightmare. Their work was sloppy, uncaring and dishonest from the start and just continued getting worse. The first night they left the back door propped open all night then disputed it when asked. Their fans and dehumidifier units did not run half the time because their electric power box kept malfunctioning and was not corrected in a timely manner. Their workers were very rude to my tenants. They caused even more damage by breaking my toilet and damaging many electric outlets. They left my furnace off on another day after they left. The drywall work was left incomplete because they forgot some closets. The really horrible came later when their invoice came. Originally Tom had agreed to work with my insurance and adjust his charges to match the insurance estimates. What a scam that was ~ Way exceeded the insurance budget on items ~ many by double or some even way more... They manipulated the invoice with the many false charges they fabricated billing for work they didn't even do. I was even billed twice for garbage disposal removal and the house didn't even have a garbage disposal. Other items were also billed for twice. They got a copy of the insurance estimate then inflated their charges to take it all. I have requested documents of the daily moisture readings I was told they would do ~ they won't send to me because they don't exist because they didn't show up to monitor their equipment and drying process. The dry out should have taken 3 days instead of 7 days. The asbestos tile removal is another issue ~ they won't produce the removal and disposal documents which are required by law. In closing ~ Doing business with Dry Maxx has turned out being even a bigger nightmare than the water damage caused by the busted water line. read more
