And the drainage around the house is SO MUCH BETTER. At the time the crew was out, we were having other repairs inside the house, and everyone did the trades shuffle with grace and humor. You haven't seen a crew work like these guys did until you realize they roofed a 7,200 sq ft historic house in just 3 days--including the flat roof rebuilds. So much attention and care was paid to the fabric of the home, and each flat roof got its own plan and treatment. The owner immediately went into CYA mode & denied all liability for repairing the damage. The HVAC company in turn blamed this company who repeatedly denied any responsibility for paying for the repairs. I was going to be out $1400+ to fix the unit, but ultimately HVAC company did cover the cost. The owner of D&G went so far as to contact the county I live in, another neighboring county along with the city I live in all in an effort to prove he had no liability for the damage done during the replacement of the roof. I also had to contact the Better Business Bureau to get the refund check from the company for the unused materials I had paid for upfront. All in all, I would not recommend the company due to poor customer service I received after the owner insured he was paid for the job in full within 3 days of completion.

The quote that they gave me was very appropriate and it was good value. The job was done and everything was very professional. I had more work for them to do but unfortunately the communication sort of fell and I never heard back from them on the additional work that I wanted done. I even had the foreman's number and texted him multiple times but he never got back to me. So they did the job but for some reason they didn't want any more money from me.

I hired this company to install a gutter on my front porch for about $270. Shortly after…read moreinstallation, I noticed water was running behind the gutter instead of into it, which defeats the entire purpose of having gutters and could lead to damage over time. I contacted them to come back out, and they said the issue was due to a missing gutter apron. However, this was never mentioned or included in the original estimate, and now they are trying to charge additional money to fix a problem that should have been addressed during the initial install. Their own contract states the work would be completed in a workmanlike manner according to industry standards, yet the system as installed does not function properly. To their credit, they did come back out and mentioned offering a discounted solution--but I have not received any follow-up since then. At the end of the day, I paid for a working gutter system, and I don't think it's reasonable to be charged extra to correct an incomplete or improper installation. I would recommend getting very clear, detailed scope in writing before hiring.

If it were possible, we would leave negative stars!…read more Nation's Roof came to fix a leak we had in the roof after the rain. A few weeks later the leak was still present, and after the rain, our ceiling was damaged. They came out a second time and did work in a COMPLETELY different area WITHOUT any leaks (that obviously did not fix the problem we called them for originally). We called them a third time to address the SAME leak, and no one ever responded. We had to contact another company, Command Roof, to come and fix the problem. Command's owner even came out himself to ensure our leak was fixed properly! We have undertaken a significant financial loss due to having to repair the same leak (plus all the ceiling damage) 3 times!! When we received the invoices from Nations Roof, they tried to bill us NOT ONLY for both visits (without adequate work completed), but they also falsified the man hours by 8 hours! We contacted the company to discuss these issues, and went months without response. When they finally did reach back out to us, we were hoping to resolve things amicably. However, it quickly turned into a hostile conversation as their President, Andrew, was unwilling to take our offer to pay for half of both invoices (as we recognize that he still had to pay his employees even though the job was not completed). It was beyond disappointing to experience a business owner who was so condescending and unwilling to see reason. We provided him with all of the documents and communication records that we had (including the job ticket with hours completed by his workers) and he refused to acknowledge our claim. In addition to offering to pay half, we gave Andrew our promise not to share our displeasure with his company and lack of customer service. His exact response was "So feel free advertise all you wish (I wouldn't if I were you)". What kind of business owner communicates with a customer in such a threatening manner?!? In hopes to resolve this issue without continued communication with Andrew, we reached out to the Nations Roof regional controller with an offer to settle. However, we never received a response, or even acknowledgement of our concerns. We could go on forever, but bottom line: STAY AWAY FROM NATIONS ROOF! We would rather keep a bucket under our leak next time.
