On May 18, 2024, my home caught on fire, luckily a neighbor spotted the flames and called the fire department. My insurance company recommended Servpro for the cleanup. After checking their Google reviews, I decided that I would work with them. Working with Servpro was an absolute nightmare. One of their technicians punched a hole in the floor of my tub/shower with a ladder and another used packaging tape to construct a plastic barrier to keep out fumes which resulted in paint being torn off two walls in my kitchen. Multiple members of Servpro's management team promised me that all the damage would be resolved to my satisfaction, but it wasn't. Servpro's first attempt at remedying the situation was to connect me with a company that could put a patch in my tub/shower at my expense. I promptly made it clear that I would not accept that offer. After getting my insurance agent involved, they decided they would pay a contractor to remedy the damage they had caused, but after seeing the initial estimate they backtracked. Servpro then offered me $1,500 (this was roughly 20% of what the initial estimate to remove and replace the shower had been) to remedy the damage. After some back and forth and making it quite clear that they weren't going any higher we settled on $2,000. There was one sticking point that I just couldn't get past. In order to receive any compensation for the damage to my home they demanded that I write a five-star Google review for them. Initially I agreed but I let them know of my displeasure. On the day I was to receive my check they presented me with a non-disparagement agreement and a non-disclosure agreement to sign. It was at that point that I told them I would rather share my story than lie for them. They of course did not see asking me to write a five-star review for them asking me to lie for them. When you see there multiple five-star reviews ask yourself how many of them were paid for.

DO NOT USE VODA! This is going to be a long review. I waited…read moreuntil I secured other living arrangements to post this review. Keith Nash is highly insensitive, neglectful, and the tech who performed the 'job' here is a deceitful, lazy, liar. Voda advertises as being "experts" in mold removal. Less than a week of moving here, I had my eldest child stay with my mother to help my peace of mind when dealing with the presence of mold. The property here uses Voda as their vendor. Voda arrived Monday, September 14, 2026. I had something to handle early that morning and upon arriving back to the apartment, I interacted with the Voda technician parked outside my building. I let him know that I had my infant child and two dogs with me, and that I had no problem staying out in my car while he did what he was there to accomplish- remove the mold. I am inquisitive; I ask questions. I made sure to ask important questions to the technician, whom of which I do not remember his name due to the stress of this ordeal having caused me. He was quite reassuring with his responses and he certainly had me fooled at first. He informed me that the job "would take roughly an hour and a half" to complete. I proceeded to show him the before pictures of the inside of the air handler unit (plus the mold test) where the mold was coming from. I made it known how sick my family and I have been living here due to the presence of mold. He replies with, "Oh we see much worse". This issue was indeed a BIG DEAL to me as a mother of two children; one of which is an infant. His commentary was quite insensitive. My family has been sick while residing here because of the mold blowing throughout the apartment. I sat in my vehicle for roughly two hours waiting on this technician to complete his job. Upon finishing, he approaches the passenger side of my vehicle and states that he is finished. Of course I thank him because I try to be a pleasant and polite person. I then press him on the state of my apartment from the job he performed. He says verbatim, "I cleaned it, yes ma'am. I wiped everything down and did the best I could. I'm a man (chuckling as he says this part and what's next) and can only clean as well as a man you know? Like a husband, a father would?". Hmm, ok. I didn't know how to respond back but a nervous forced laugh right back at him and ask, "So everything is clear? It's clean now? Is it safe for me and my child and dogs to come back inside? To be breathing in the solution used to treat the mold?" He replies, "Oh yes ma'am". I still thank him for his time and effort, even though I had not yet stepped one foot inside. That was until he starts to pull away to leave when I walk into my apartment. I am beyond appalled at what I walked into. So according to him he "wiped everything down" remember? The pictures I've included with this review are proof he lied. Absolutely NOTHING was wiped down or cleaned except for spot cleaning the exposed carpet below the vents in the bedrooms. The vents weren't even placed back on their respected places correctly; they were put upside down. There is no way he covered any vent according to standard procedures when blowing out the vents because DUST, MOLD, and DEBRIS were ON EVERY SINGLE SURFACE OF MY HOME. Every crick, cranny, crack, groove, surface, EVERYTHING and EVERYWHERE. I am beyond DISGUSTED. When I say everywhere I literally mean everything was covered with this nasty crap. And this company calls themselves professionals!? Every door, every wall, every baseboard, my bed, my BABY'S bed, my other child's mattress; everything has been tainted. I called my mother immediately after walking inside following the tech's leave and she was livid. She called Voda on my behalf because I physically could not talk due to how hysterical I was with upset. She calls and gets the owner Keith Nash on the phone and he mentioned to her how 'I could purchase an air filtration system from them to help with the mold problem'. Keith, you have the audacity to respond back by trying to sell me something after YOUR company and YOUR employee screws up!? The property here paid you, but does it matter who funded your company? No. You are deceptive about what your business advertises as being professionals at. I attempted an honest phone call with you one on one. I called and was pushed aside because you don't care. You had zero intent on talking to me once having spoken to my mother. You ignored me. That's fine. What you can't ignore is this review and every single platform I post this to. What happened inside of my apartment was just wrong. And you Keith, refuse to take responsibility for that. Not a single apology made! Go ahead and give my review a reply Keith! Let's see what you try to manipulate to cover YOUR company's screwup! This is a serious issue when it comes to mine and my family's health! We have been sick before and especially after Voda doing their "job". My Google review shows picture evidence of what Voda caused.

Voda of Chattanooga was absolutely the worst experience I could have had as a first time homeowner…read morewith one of our first major issues. They did not complete the work correctly, have left my house full of mold and not rectified anything. They took our insurance money and left us to start completely over from scratch with another company. Either they weren't equipped for this big of a job (which they should have spoken up and said something) or just wanted to cash in on our insurance check. Either way they got the money and get got nothing productive from them. I called them because water was leaking out of my electric socket. They came out the next day and we can to an agreement they would tear up my wall determine where any and all active water leaks were. The following day they tore up roughly 25 feet of my wall and proceeded to tell me there were no active leaks... But that doesn't make sense since water was just leaking out the other day. So they came back out and quickly looked again where they did find one hole in my exterior of my home. But this was on the furthest right side taking up only 5 feet of the 25 feet they tore up that read wet. There is no way this could have wet the other area and this was very low on the wall and there were very high parts wet. They plugged this hole so it would not continue to leak. They treated for mold and replacedy insulation. They assured me there were no other active leaks and they must have been fixed when I replaced windows 6 months prior (but then why were my walls inside still wet) when the insurance inspector came out he also didn't understand how the other 20 feet became wet and was STILL wet. This greatly messed with the amount insurance paid out. Insurance and Voda could not come to an agreement on the cost to fix my house. Insurance also advised me to get a second opinion before doing the build back and filing for anymore insurance money. They felt Voda was well over priced based on the information they had. The second opinion took us some time as we ended up really sick. Finally after a few weeks and reaching out to some companies we found someone to come out and do a second opinion on pricing. Upon his inspection he found not only is that 5 foot section still leaking but there are ACTIVE leaks on the 20 foot section that VODA swore there was none. So now all the new insulation is ruined. My walls are full of mold, water is still pouring into my home. Insurance will not pay more as they state this is a workmanship issue and Voda needs to fix it. So here I am at square one. I called the owner Keith Nash who tol me he would call around to get an inspector to help locate the leaks at this point and contact me back by the end of day. That was almost 2 months ago and he never contacted us back. Please save yourself time, money,l and stress and do not use this company.
