He was so rude. He looked at me and said with an attitude- "they're the same". The mofongo was topped with what tasted like a cilantro sauce, and there was some kind of crunchy element (maybe Cheetos or something similar?) that actually worked really well. I also want to mention that the man who took my order and brought me my food was very kind, and I didn't have to wait long at all, which I really appreciated. That said, cleanliness is a big deal for me. I tend to notice those things, and unfortunately, this is where my experience changed. The outside of the food truck looked dirty, and I noticed spots on the ceiling that made me a bit uneasy. Inside, I saw a young woman on her phone, talking with one hand while scratching her head with the other, and then grabbing aluminum foil--presumably to handle food. That really didn't sit right with me. While the food itself was flavorful, and I'm thankful the gentleman preparing my order was wearing gloves, the overall cleanliness concerns make it hard for me to return. Whenever I'm in Florida, I make it a mission to find authentic Haitian food to indulge in--and WOW, did I find it here! The griot was perfectly seasoned with an incredible flavor and cooked to perfection. The limeade was absolutely delicious and so refreshing. And the sweet potato--my favorite part of any fritay--was beyond delectable! Thank you so much for such an amazing meal. It honestly tasted like home. The burger also came with a Lightly toasted bun to hold up to the burger and toppings. The house sauce just ties the whole thing together. It's creamy and a little tangy. We also got an order of fries and the chicken sandwich. These thick-cut fries are a total throwback. Soft on the inside crispy exterior. The chicken sandwich is high up there as one of the best I've had!!! Nice and crispy with a juicy interior! This unpretentious food truck is definitely worth a try!!
