Famous Footwear has a great selection of shoes of various styles, brands, and sizes. You really have to watch the prices on the shoes because they do fluctuate quite a bit. Expect to pay $70 or higher on many of the shoes. The is a style of shoe I bought about 6 years ago and still on display in the store. However, the price is much higher than I paid previously. There is a few rack of clearance shoes as well. There is usually a few workers in the store to help you, but most likely to point you in a direction especially if there are multiple groups in the store. Most times, the personal experience of measuring for a shoe size is dependent on the customer. In the front of the store, there is a spinning gondola of drawstring bags and bookbags primarily Nike and Adidas. If you don't see a shoe size or style you like, an associate can order it and ship it to you. You may have to ask especially if the store gets busy. Always check the Famous Footwear app for great deals BOGO's on shoes and more. The app also gives Birthday rewards.

We went today to get my mom some shoes after her Mother's Day lunch. We wandered all over the store finding several pairs she liked. But before we could continue she needed to use the restroom (which she has used in the store before) and the clerk would not let her go back. So we left the store, without the shoes. Sometimes it's all about the service. If there were a sign posted that said, "no public restroom" or she hadn't used it before that would be one thing. But there wasn't and she had.
