I was looking for some nice chocolate and snacks and to see the Clinique counter specials at Macy's. I'm very happy to see Santa. There was only one child in line to see Santa.. I guess there are some Santa traditions that I've just changed so much but for me I'm happy to see it while I'm still kicking. We all got photos. Service was pretty magnificent. Decent selection but I took the family here when we visited Sesame Place. It's close by but walking through it felt very empty and the biggest complaint was that it is not well maintained. There were so many trash cans and buckets collecting water from all the leaks in the roof. A lot of the walking paths are blocked by these containers. I have 2 kids and we visited the little arcade there which seems to be outdated. The mall seems to just be waiting to be closed. Overall experience here wasn't the greatest. Not worth driving out of your way to visit this place.

They were not available in DSW, so I picked up a pair. The two women working the floor were friendly and helpful in finding alternatives and answering specific questions about waterproofing and non-slip souls. The one I spoke with even went online to find out something I inquired about for which she did not have a ready answer. There are also a lot of Nikes for all sorts of sports and walking. The only weakness appeared to be in the men's dress shoe area, where there was not much to look at. Other than that, the experience at Famous Footwear was a positive and consuming one.

The inventory at this location seems spotty at best.  We went in with a few items on our list and didn't seem to put a dent in it.  They may have what you are looking for... but the variety/choices just aren't there.  The prices seem a little high but I imagine you are just paying higher now only to be reimbursed with their Kohl's cash later.    Be prepared to stand in a long line during busy times.  There is only one line for checkout but there were several registers opened during Sunday morning, so it does move fast.  Again, this procedure seems streamlined for security purposes.    If you are lucky enough to get Mimi at checkout ~ count your blessings.  Mimi is a true gem (5 stars for Mimi!).

My wife received a gift on Christmas Day and we went to return it and pick out something else from the store the next day - shouldn't be a problem- right? WRONG!!! The woman said "What I'm I to do with this?" I said "Excuse me?" she went on to say that the garment smelled of smoke and asked if the gifter smokes. I said "no" and smelled the piece of crap and then had my wife smell the piece of crap.... no smell whatsoever. We said "we don't smell anything". She then said that the store tag was missing and questioned whether we purchased it there. I said "it still has a four inch manufacturer's tag hanging from it and you can't identify this garment as something you sell here?" She replied "I have seen it at other places and we can't have a return policy like Macy's". I said "we have the bag with your stores name on it and the $60 receipt right there on the counter". She said hesitantly "well I guess I could try to air it out". Conclusion- post this and forget about it !!! My Dachshund now loves it - the smell of crap and smoke doesn't bother her. If I could figure out how to post a picture of how content she is with it I would. The Dachshund told me to be generous and she is quite happy........ so....... ONE STAR It is!
