Today, 12/26/22, we attempted to exchange a pair of crocs for another size that was purchased 2 days prior.  We had the receipt, DSW bag, and sales tag.  As my husband entered the store he was immediately approached by a DSW worker who rudely told him he had to give his bag of crocs to her and he could not go to the area to look for a correct size.  When he went to the register after rudely being instructed to go to the register with the return crocs my husband was then told by another employee he didn't purchase the crocs from this location.  When my husband showed the crocs and the receipt proving he purchased the crocs from the Youree drive location he never received an apology.   We are visiting the Shreveport area for the holidays and will likely never return to this store again.  Since this incident occurred, I have learned that family members who reside in/near Shreveport have experienced the same rude employee at the Youree Drive DSW location. Thankfully my husband was successfully able to make the exchange. It is very disappointing our DSW experience was poor and my husband was treated like a thief. Dsw have all of the latest styles of shoes.. flip flops,sandals, boots, sneakers, bootie, heels & flats! The customer service representatives are very friendly and will assist you as needed. You can always get their honest input when you need that second opinion on your shoe inquiries. I rarely come inside the store because I prefer to shop online.! read more

This is where it gets tricky-- I dislike this location. But I love DSW as a company! Mind you, I have been in numerous locations in other states. And I certainly don't mind the selection at this Shreveport location. But. Oh God, the sales staff. Look, it's not even their fault. Probably. I've worked in retail. You'll end up at a store whose district or regional manager is a nutcase about "Customer Service!!!!". I've dealt with those. You're constantly being warned about secret shoppers, and to approach people with eye contact and smiles and engage them on some mundane yet inevitably irritating detail of their ensemble and then try to find some way to segue into a "Did you know about our sale/special/promotion/store credit card?" It's why I never want to work in retail again. Clearly, some higher up has instilled a fear of all that is holy in the sales associates at this location. You can't actually get two steps through the door without a girl exclaiming "WELCOME" or asking you if you got your shoes there, or hey! Did you know about the sale room? Have you ever shopped there before? I'm all for helpful sales staff, but I prefer they be there when I NEED help, not when I'm walking in and clearly on the phone. I don't generally look lost and confused so please don't glue yourself to my hip and perkily ask me a barrage of questions as I try desperately to make my way to the sneakers. I had a burning question--did they ever carry Frye boots-- but opted not to even bother asking, because I couldn't bear engaging the associate in a conversation. All that aside, it's clean--if a bit overdecorated for what it is--and there's a pretty good array of shoe brands. The manager just needs to slip the staff a Xanax. read more

On the day after Christmas, I dragged my mom to check out DSW. She lives in Shreveport but has not stepped foot at this location. Weird, right? Well, now I've converted her (I think) and even signed her up for a DSW Rewards membership. I explained to her she would earn reward certificates from purchases as well as receive birthday coupons. Now, who doesn't like getting birthday coupons? Anyway, I wanted to pack light for my trip home but made some poor decisions when it came to shoes. I found a pair of Naturalizer flats that were to my liking and worked well with my pain-in-the-ass feet. My mom found a pair of walking sneakers, which she promised to use in an effort to get some exercise this coming year. I don't mind this location as it's bigger than the ones I normally go to. If I ever go home with the wrong shoes again, I know now where to stop first. read more

I would love to make this my go to place for all my shoes, but trying to reach their customer service is the worst I have ever seen !!!!!!!!!!!! I have been trying for days to reach them to change my password, but they keep you on hold for an unbearable amount of time........still have not made contact. Had 1 item to pay for. I was 2nd in line with 2 registers open and both busy. The cashiers spend a long time upselling some sort of discount program. Never saw either customer get our cash or credit card after 5 minutes so I left. It's no wonder people buy online. There should be an Express line for those of us who just want to pay and go. read more

On our way back home to Dallas from Shreveport, we stopped at this location. It was clean and slightly busy. The sales people were very helpful and friendly. We just happened upon this location by chance but we had a great experience. read more
