Kitchen Renovation for the Win!!! We had 2 quotes to re-do our kitchen completely. Very 80's, very light cheap looking wood. Between all the work, new (non custom) cabinets, debris removal, install the cost was between $29,000 and $32,000 between the vendors. A neighbor gave me the idea of re-painting and just updating the backsplash and adding granite. I truly didn't even know how much that would be but let me tell you, when I met Damian and he brought a few door samples to feel the painting finish and he explain to us the kind of paint that is truly durable, super quality Italian paint made specially for wood and lots of use (I became an expert you can tell!) I was sold! the project fully done cost us less than HALF the original quote and the best part is that is clean, takes les than a week to finish and I don't need dirt and crap all over our home. What an amazing find. He made us understand how much of a breeze this was and he delivered exactly that!. He and his staff were respectful, on time every day. Thank you to the crew of this company, worked around our crazy schedule! We have our kids ruined our precious faux finish inside the main bathroom! As you might not know, re-touching faux finishes could be one of the hardest things to do since its unique details and textures! They did an amazing job! I will see if I can upload pictures of the before and after since is so detailed! Then a few months after, we call the crew again to paint our parents home, since they don't do much of a computer use, we can provide feedback on the work they did with the paint outside the house. The prep work was very detailed, cover all shutters, plants and pipes around the house; no spec of paint on any grounds and make the home look like new again! Their association is very specific on colors and other regulations and they were even asking their info to refer to another homeowners in the place. Differently that the other review, there is no way an unlicensed or uninsured contractor works at the association; I know they've sent the documentation to them; otherwise they couldn't do any work on any property. I called DT P's at 10am on a Saturday morning. Damian and his team were at my house in less than a half an hour! They provided me with what I thought was a fair estimate. I let them know that I would be getting 2 more estimates as well. I don't accept contractors based solely on price, believe me, I go by their reviews and how they present themselves when we meet, and how they explain the work will be performed. Dt Painter did end up being the lowest bidder at the end anyway. Cheap can be VERY expensive, know it by lessons learned! They were held up on another job for a few days which delayed mine but Damian kept in Amazing contact with me about everything! (Communication is huge to me). They were going to paint my back outdoor porch(wooden) and do some stucco/paint work on my exterior as well. they did a wonderful job painting the ol wooden/lattice porch! I had a few areas of concern but these guys handled it in a timely and professional way!!
