I did not like the way I was repeatably treated on the phone and could not get resolution to a simple signature snafu for days. I believe I was told a non truth as verified by the producer of the policy. Due to the unprofessional customer service of Econo's representative I have just requested a new broker of record. I refuse to be a loyal customer to an agent that does not have my best interests in heart and talks to me as a second rate customer. Econo has just lost a loyal long time recurring customer. Please reconsider before purchasing from this broker. Go to any other independent agent. Go to someone that is at least pleasant and listen not just talk to hear themselves. He even sent me a "screenshot" message he supposedly sent to me. Funny thing is that when I went back and looked at my log at that exact time and date, that message does not fit into the conversation we were having AT ALL. It looked like a fake conversation. He had created on his end to cover his a**, but I keep it records of all my conversations with any type of business. He NEVER told me I was responsible for canceling those policies. And even admitted that he didn't bother checking to see if they had gotten canceled. I was also led to believe I was required to carry some of these policies because if I canceled one of them it would raise the rates on another. This was a LIE. After doing weeks of research on my end, making dozens of phone calls to my various insurance companies. I realized this company gets kickbacks from these insurance companies, i've been charged well over $1500 over the last year that was completely unnecessary.
