Had an arrangement with another guy set up and he bailed at the last minute. So I cold-called Hobbs and Dave, the owner, is who answered. When I explained the situation, he offered several solutions, including storing my trailer for free since I was in a bind. Who does that these days??? As a wheelchair using driver, it's not particularly quick or easy to identify an appropriate vehicle that will meet my needs. I don't drive a van. I typically have driven a 2-door automatic, however, it has to have enough room between the driver's seat and the door frame that I can put my wheelchair, when folded, in the backseat. When I was younger, these were easy to find. These days? Not so much. I first called Ed Martin Honda as I was curious about a used Honda Civic. I'd had a Civic before, but cars change over the years and I wanted to make sure. I was transferred multiple times trying to find basic answers about the vehicle. At one point, I simply asked if they could measure the space I needed to know about as I'd been able to determine how much room I needed. It was really basic customer service, and they just wouldn't do it. Majorly dropped ball. Somewhat on the flip side, I did an in-person visit and the sales rep definitely went out of the way to let me try a couple of the vehicles. I was definitely impressed, and there was a definite effort to try to think of vehicles that would actually work. That was good customer service, though we didn't actually find a vehicle. For the record, I ended up buying a Honda. If that original associate had been more helpful who knows what could have happened? I learned that both the Civic and the Accord would work (coupe versions, so slightly older). I ended up with an Accord that I'm anxiously waiting for it to arrive. This was a solid mid-range experience, though somewhat disappointing given I've generally heard great things about Martin's customer service. Phone call? Disappointing. In-person? Much better. Overall, I'd still probably return for future needs.

I had to do extra wipe down. Fragrance was overwhelming. Their location is a bit scary looking and you aren't quite sure they will do quality work. But my car looked nice when I got it back. I especially liked how clean the mats were. The car was still moist inside but that is because I really needed an in and out day job. Cost was $100 and that was with a discount and interior only.
