So, I have been coming here for years whenever I come up to the Northwoods. It's my #1 stop. Very pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff. And yes, sometimes it's busy and staff can be overwhelmed. It's a thing up here for some reason so sit back with a beer and relax. Your food will come and you will be happy with it. Top on my list is the Reuben and then the Philly cheese steak. Good portion size and excellent flavor. The beer list is crazy. Never a let down on interesting beers plus the usuals as well. The owner puts his heart into this place and staff work hard. Just be patient and you will be rewarded. Let not forget that Lake view either. The deck is awesome. Also, the guy Steve who is complaining about soggy fries and having to pay xtra for sauce on the Reuben and gave 1 star- not a chance. read more

Dublin's offers great lake views and has a lovely outdoor deck. The inside seating also offers wonderful lake views. It's a fun place, friendly wait staff, great bartender, good food, especially the sandwiches. It's family friendly and can be reached by boat or car. read more

Some of the most expensive drinks I've had in Wisconsin. $8 for an import pint??? Thought I was in downtown Chicago for a minute.

Our bartender/server was terrific. The food was very good. However, very surprised and upset by a sauce charge which was not disclosed. I ordered a Reubens sandwich and was charged an additional $.75 for sauce though description made it appear choice of sauce was included. Likewise with onion rings. Man up and show the price so I can make call. Don't put your bartender in the middle. Do you really want to lose a customer over $1.50? Maybe that is your end game. I was super excited to try this place but left very disappointed. We went early on a Saturday evening, only a couple other tables outside. It took a long time to get our drinks and when our jalapeño/sausage appetizer came out it was cold- not even warm, but it was also charred. So for $17, it was definitely not worth it. Then quite a while later our Reuben and kids burger came out, also very cold after about a 40 min wait. Again, no other tables came in, still 3 tables total outside eating and a table of drinkers. The waitress offered to remake the appetizer, I'd rather get the refund though... or even a discount. It came again, very hot this time and in about 5 min. The Reuben was ok, sauce was good, but nothing amazing like I was expecting. The best part was when she brought fresh fries, she those WERE amazing! The bathroom was dirty. The view was great though- maybe a cool spot for a drink next time. read more

If I could give a 0, I would. A one seems generous. We waited an hour for our food (it wasn't busy) we ordered fish tacos on corn tortillas. We watched in horror as the contents of each one of the 6 tacos in our order plummeted to our plates when we picked them up. We had shells with no filling left in our hands. When I brought it to the attention of the obstinate bar tender/owner, I was advised that it's supposed to be that way because they are Gluten-free. Um, we had no sllverware andcl how do you serve tacos not meant to hold filling?! He offered to re wrap them and put the entire contents of the tacos back the grill.. cold toppings and all. When I expressed concern about my cold toppings being grilled, he sarcastically said, " I guess we can remake them and eat the cost," we left. We love visiting Dublin's. We have come via UTV and snowmobile and every single time we stop in we have a blast. They always have wonderful music playing, the beer list is exceptional for the Northwoods. The staff is always extremely attentive and friendly even while swamped with hungry and thirsty snowmobilers. We had wings and soup at our most recent visit and both were wonderful. I highly recommend this as a stop during your trip up north, I am sure the view in the summer is wonderful! If you stop by on your birthday and wear one of their googy hats you drink for free! read more

Happy hours galore! On the lake, awesome deck. Bring your boat or your snowmobile. Ample space for either and depending on the season it's perfect. Dice or pull tabs they got em. I loved the bar and just a few things prevent me from giving it 5 stars. The location is fantastic and if you happen to get the table by the window you'll get an amazing view. We started out at the bar, and the bar tender Vannah was fantastic. So good in fact that we made sure she kept serving us when we moved to a table. It was very busy when we arrived and there were no tables. They don't take names so we had to hover over a table until one opened up. I'll chalk that up to how busy it was and the fact that they seemed short staffed. The business also caused a long wait and the Mac and Cheese that I ordered was a little cold by the time it came out to us. They had trivia which was a fun addition to our night. Awesome spot right on North Twin Lake in Wisconsin! Me and my fiancé's family drove our pontoon boat over to Dublin's and parked in one of their slips. There was ample seating outside on the deck. Service was a little slow but the waitress was very friendly. Food was mostly classic pub fare but was well prepared and tasty. They had over 100+ beer options as well. This has been our "go to" place for years. Birthdays, Anniversaries, and just for plain fun. I have never had slow service, and have always been treated well. The food has always been excellent. The Reuben is huge. We highly recommend trying it just to check it out. John has always been friendly, even when busy. I do not understand why so many feel it is slowing down. Stopped here while snowmobiling. I had a burger and some onion rings. They were both excellent. The burger was juicy and the rings were crispy without being over-battered. I would have really liked to give this little 'diamond in the rough' more than two stars, but I just can't do it. Positive: The food was really, really, good. We ordered an Irish version of nachos; they were fantastic. The Guinness-battered cod was equally as good. Shepherds Pie received an "eh". The beer menu was impressive. Opportunities For Improvement: We arrived at 5:30PM (it's Jan 1) and were immediately seated....under a speaker. The much-too-loud music really put a HUGE damper on our visit. Our server attempted to turn it down after we politely asked, but after one song, the volume was turned back up; we couldn't hear each other from inches away. They do not serve liquor; a few of us asked for a Bloody Mary, the server replied "we do not serve liquor." (I'm now confused after reading the rave reviews of other patrons.) I had heard the beer cheese biscuits were really great, I wouldn't know because mine was cold and tasted/looked like it was pulled out of a soggy garbage. Lastly, our food took way too long. In summation, I doubt I'll drive the 45 minutes to visit again. Good food, but mediocre establishment overall. read more

Major disappointment from a former favorite! We've been coming here for years to enjoy the view, food and quality service. Our first trip back this year and we left without even ordering our food. We came in the middle of the afternoon hoping for a leisurely lunch. With only one other table of 4 we though our server would take good care of us. Our waitress took our drink orders and while we were waiting a group of 8 walked in. Our drinks were delivered and then we must have become invisible. The large group ordered drinks, received them and, to our disappointment, placed their food orders as we were told the waitress would be with us shortly. After waiting 45 minutes to order we gave up! Guess the moral of the story is if you want good service show up in a big group! So sorry to say good-bye to Dublins. It WAS a wonderful place to eat, drink and build memories with our friends. read more

Excellent food, great view, good beer, but be warned, in the winter you need 4-wheel drive to get out. Road is steep and snow covered. Found out there is a parking area above, after the fact. But they were super nice and helped us get out. Will definitely come back but will bring the truck if it's winter. ;) read more
