It was depressing, as I'm a transplant from Northern California, and grew up in a place where your yard is part of your castle, and you care for it with pride (or you pay someone else to). The crabgrass, bald patches etc etc was an utter nightmare. Depressing! I considered all these "franchise True Green" options, but was appauled by many the reviews, to be honest. Personal recommendations led me to T & B. Peter Teed, came by, and within the timeframe of his visit I shared his confidence that my family and I would be enjoying a beautiful lawn within 6 months, give or take... Fast forward 3 months - The level of care and concern to insure successful results for a beautiful lawn have paid off in spades. While it takes patience and time, and we still have a ways to go, Teed and Brown went above and beyond to insure proper results. We had a really cold Spring, which made things difficult early on, but staying the course led me to sitting here looking out over amazing results. And we STILL have another couple months for everything to fill in. I couldn't be happier! Bottom line: Don't look into the "franchise cheap" solution. I can tell you, firsthand, Teed and Brown are worthy of the investment. You won't be sorry!

In the 25 years I lived here, no one has ever done such a meticulous job, and at such a great price. Now he's my snow removal guy and I'm sure will do a great job today with that too. He even stopped by the other day when I had a big puddle problem and came up with a quick solution, same day. I'll be hiring him to put in a new walkway just as soon as it's warm enough.

Despite some of the biggest snows we see here in CT PJs reliability, and the thoroughness of the team in clearing the driveway, deck, steps and even cars is unflappable. More importantly, my wife and I leave very early for our jobs (I'm usually out of the house by 5:30a) and the team ensures that all is good to go, even under the heaviest snowfall. Have never tried them for the landscaping, though I often wish I had! I just know they would have brought the same professionalism to that as well. There were some problems with my lawn in the form of a fungus and patches of bent grass. A technician came out to review the problen, he called the owner .... the owner told him! KILL ALL OF IT! I never received a phone call .... they just proceeded on their own I came home at the end of August to find 60% of my lawn was sprayed with a round up type product to kill 60% of my lawn! I WAS IN SHOCK! I TERMINATED THIS COMPANY !!! Now I needed to find a new company to provide a solution to install a new lawn quickly since it was the beginning of Sept. Lucky lawn was highly recomended from an extremly reliable source. I called the Lucky Lawn office told them I needed someone to come out and look at my lawn. I was told it would probably be Jim Buchanan, the owner of the company. I was impressed! Two hours later I received a text message it was Jim Buchanan telling me he was in the area and he wanted to stop by but I was not home. I called him back, he told me he would be by the next day. At 10 Am he was at my door. Reviewed the entire property told me what had to be done and walked me through what Lucky Lawn would do and when. His approach was direct and spot on... he was there with a crew the following week to aerate the soil ,spread 10 yards of top soil, apply 100 pounds of grass seed along with hay! It is now a month since my nightmare and I have the best lawn I ever had! I was so fortunate to have found Lucky Lawn... I do not know who could have reacted so quickly and provide such great results! They have done and incredibly job! One more thing: Eden Farms maintains my property with the exception of the lawn service for lawn aplications. They pulled together a crew to pull up the existing dead lawn in 2 days and prepped it for Lucky Lawn. They also did an impossible job on very short notice! I am extreamly happpy and satisfied with both of these companies servicing my property!

We contacted Harold in August to come over to our house for an over view of our stone back patio that needed re-grouted along with the outside fire place and our drive way stone wall need re grouted/repair. We also talked to him about getting our drive way sealed and pavers put down in a new patio area on our property. He was able to get back to us right a way on an estimate of the whole job. Please note this is a huge job that would take several weeks. We were able to get schedule for the month of Sept and it was all complete (the drive way sealed last as they exited last). We feel Harold's cost was reasonable. He took the time to show us issues that required repair. He answered any questions we had and concerns. His team was friendly, always on time and finished a job well done. Most of all, they respected our home as if it were theirs. They took the time to clean up after themselves every day and even in the end they made sure everything (patio furniture and trash in the can) was put right back into place. That means a lot to us because we love our home here in Stamford CT! What a pleasure having them over 6 days a week for several straight weeks. Everything went smooth and it was a job well done!
