I had a insurmountable problem I encountered at the end of August. I was in away enjoying the last weeks of summer. There were some problems with my lawn in the form of a fungus and patches of bent grass. A technician came out to review the problen, he called the owner .... the owner told him! KILL ALL OF IT! I never received a phone call .... they just proceeded on their own I came home at the end of August to find 60% of my lawn was sprayed with a round up type product to kill 60% of my lawn! I WAS IN SHOCK! I TERMINATED THIS COMPANY !!! Now I needed to find a new company to provide a solution to install a new lawn quickly since it was the beginning of Sept. Lucky lawn was highly recomended from an extremly reliable source. I called the Lucky Lawn office told them I needed someone to come out and look at my lawn. I was told it would probably be Jim Buchanan, the owner of the company. I was impressed! Two hours later I received a text message it was Jim Buchanan telling me he was in the area and he wanted to stop by but I was not home. I called him back, he told me he would be by the next day. At 10 Am he was at my door. Reviewed the entire property told me what had to be done and walked me through what Lucky Lawn would do and when. His approach was direct and spot on... he was there with a crew the following week to aerate the soil ,spread 10 yards of top soil, apply 100 pounds of grass seed along with hay! It is now a month since my nightmare and I have the best lawn I ever had! I was so fortunate to have found Lucky Lawn... I do not know who could have reacted so quickly and provide such great results! They have done and incredibly job! One more thing: Eden Farms maintains my property with the exception of the lawn service for lawn aplications. They pulled together a crew to pull up the existing dead lawn in 2 days and prepped it for Lucky Lawn. They also did an impossible job on very short notice! I am extreamly happpy and satisfied with both of these companies servicing my property! read more

We were fortunate to discover Lucky Lawn this spring and deal directly with Jim Buchanan who is in charge of the business. Initially we met with him in the winter to discuss the problems we had with our lawn. Jim gave us some advice, which we took and the results were phenomenal. Realizing that the lawn needed more watering than I could provide running around, we were quoted an incredible irrigation price and did that as well. We have our lawn back now, greener than ever and it is all due to this company. I highly recommend them to anyone!!!!! Oh, and they do lighting as well! read more

I thought they were incredibly condescending. Called them twice to set up an appointment, then get a call that they will be 10 min late. They roll in 30 min later, ask me to email a pdf of my garden map from my landscape designer. He says: I assume you are using a designer? When I said I don't have a map but all the beds are edged out and I can tell you what gets planted. Didnt take a single note, hands in the pockets, walk through the yard, tell me how big it is and how much money it will be. Said he'll email the estimate only to call 2 weeks later to set up an appt, he had forgotten that he had been here and asks when was I there. Then said oh yeah you shoveled some beds out and had no idea what plants were going in. I was speechless. Imagine if you hire these guys. Yikes. read more

I was not sure of using Lucky lawn seeing some bad reviews, but i am glad i went with my gut. my experience with lucky lawn was amazing the staff is there for all your needs, the owners are both very hands on with our needs and also the workers are as well. every thing turned ok amazing as our sprinkler system was designed properly unlike a lot of other companies that i got estimates from. the lawn care was designed to my lawns needs and the klawn turned out awesome lost season and can't wait for this season. Left the house the same way the found it - only small areas in thin lawn areas can you tell their was any work completed. The owner was great at his design and layout of lights and sprinklers. They have a terribly unprofessional staff- the woman on the phone confused me with another client and refused to check her information when I told her she was mistaken; the owner serviced my lawn the second year before I granted permission(I had no intention of renewing because the service did little to improve my lawn), and when I politely called to notify him of his mistake, he laid all the blame on me and expected me to pay for the service I never authorized. I refused and called his bluff asking him to prove I authorized the service, at which point he hung up. Now I have a mysterious dead circle in the center of my lawn that I am certain he created as retribution. Nice. One bad customer experience will lead to 30-40 people hearing about it!
