I had an unprecedented incident 2 days before my scheduled move. The home purchase did not go through and instead of moving into a home - I needed to find storage quickly. Needless to say I was in shock. Understanding my angst Melissa at Dixon Moving adjusted my move schedule at the last minute and worked to find me storage and took care of all the logistics. There was no way my head was in the right space to deal with this - and Mellisa took care of all of it. When I ended up moving - the crew was quick, polite and respectful of my property. He states he is sending it as urgent for them to call me back that day and I never get a call back. I have my credit card company disputing the charge. But I can't talk to a person on this and keep getting an AI. Even though I received notice they received my move out form, my online account doesn't show that I moved out. Again I received a notice in November that they received my moving out form. We've left the place on November 25th as too dangerous to park a travel trailer there. It's packed like sardines everywhere, and the roadway is only the width of a car.

Several items were damaged or missing, including a king bed, a queen mattress, a dining table base and arm chairs. At first they let me know they were going to resolve the issue but months went by and communication from the company was inconsistent and delayed. They never provided me with a claims process or resolution. Storage charges were also erroneously billed for months after services ended. Despite filing complaints with FDACS, the company has not fully addressed the damages, and I am now pursuing small claims court for reimbursement. I do not recommend Top Notch Movers based on my experience.

They know their business, they know their products, and most of all, they WANT to help you. No more chasing folks in orange aprons around a football field-sized store. Recently I had my 30-year-old chef knives sharpened by their ReSharp Knife Sharpening Robot...Amazing! They also sell Benjamin Moore paint and will mix small samples as well as gallons while you wait. If the items are soiled or extremely in bad shape then it's not the place to give them. They accept things like clothes, shoes, furniture, houseware things, accessories and electronics. I had a few bags of things which easily fit into my car and I was able to do drop off. They offer to assist you in bringing them inside. They also ask if you need a receipt for your records/taxes. They also have bins in the back of the store if you want to just drop off the bags. For people who can't drop off or have large items of donation such as furniture, you can give them a call and schedule a time for pick up. They pick up the phone in business hours and are good about assisting. Awesome way of giving things to a good organization.~
