Had our dryer vent cleaned and a quote for the rest of our vents. They do not do chimneys, so I had to have another company come out for that. Duct Squad charged $200 for the dryer vent alone, which is almost double most other places as it turns out. I found this out when the company who did our chimney advised they only charge $125 for dryers. This prompted me to do some digging and sure enough, even a quick google search will turn up many other companies at a much lower cost. Maybe you're paying for superior service? Nope. Duct Squad did not even connect the top of the vent back to the roof exit, so I had to go up and fix it myself. The guy who came out was friendly, but I'd advise using anyone else. read more

I chose Duct Squads based off all of the glowing reviews. I had no doubt that I was going to have a great experience with them. I could have never been more wrong about anything in my life. The crew working in my home did show up on time, were courteous and polite but oh so unprofessional. The crew working in my home damaged multiple vent registers in my ceiling, stating that they thought they were superglued to the ceiling when they are not. They even set these vent registers on the floor allowing their equipment to run over them and damage them further. The crew member working on my dryer had to have either stood or sat on the top of my dryer leaving dents and scratches on the top panel. All of this damage was done in my home and not brought to my attention by the crew causing the damage. I did reach out to Duct Squads to let them know of the damage, they were at first receptive and acted as if they were willing to help. I was able to send them a receipt for the vent registers that I had to purchase and replace myself. I was told they would reimburse the cost of those, but the check has not been received. They did send someone out to diagnose my dryer. That service company did recommend a replacement top panel due to the extensive damage. Duct Squads approved to have that part replaced. Upon replacement of the damaged part, my dryer makes a ton of noise when it was whisper quiet before. I have reached out to Duct Squads as of 11/15/2022 to let them know that I was dissatisfied with the repair company that they chose to send out due to the fact that they no called/no showed and their "repair" to my dryer has left my dryer with new problems that it did not have before. Duct Squads has not responded. I have held off on writing this review as I had hoped Duct Squads would take up this situation with the highest priority and care but that simply ins't the case. I do not recommend Duct Squads as they have left me to deal with the consequences of their carelessness. read more

No issues with service. I didn't expect it to be as pricey as it was. It's also hard when you have to request a quote and have them come out. For 12 ducts and 3 return vents, it was $650 and they threw in the laundry vent. For only vacuuming, I think $650 is really expensive. You don't have to do it for another 5 years but I'll definitely be looking into my own DIY to vacuum my vents. Wow. That says it all. We are rather picky people. Just expect high standards. So for me to give them this high of a rating is unique. House is 2500 square feet with 21 vents and 8 returns. High ceilings ranging from 10 to 14 feet They were precise in everything they did. Cleaned all, cleaned vent covers and wiped around all. Vacuumed everywhere they worked. Amazed at how fast they were. Showed me some pics of before and after. Wow. They arrived in a cute duct squad van. How they got all the equipment in it is amazing. Must be bigger on the inside. In response to the owner's comments, I was NOT told there was a 2 hour window for arrival. I was told my appointment was at 4 PM....!! Reading some of these other reviews has been very enlightening. I was not given any 'up front' estimate; so, was waiting to learn the cost once an in-house inspection had taken place. My appointment was set for 4 p.m. on Wednesday, 06/26; so, I rushed home from work and waited until about 4:10 to call with my inquiry as to whether I was still on the schedule (I believe in punctuality). Was sent to voice mail but when Candi called me back she said the tech got held up on another job and was running late. No offer of an ETA; so, I suggested that the company should call the customer to let them know when delays happened rather than waiting on a 'prospective NEW customer' to call them. Not a good first impression; as she didn't seem all that concerned and only seemed casually apologetic. I guess I'll keep shopping around in hopes of finding a business that is more pro-active when it comes to gaining new business. read more

Thank you for good customer service. First entry:Got a coupon in the mail for a "whole house duct cleaning including return vents". When they guy arrived, he immediately started trying to up sell from a $39 coupon to several hundred "duct cleaning with spinning brush cleaning with a spray sanitize formula". I kept telling him we just wanted to $39 coupon deal. He literally opened 2 return vents, vacuumed them out and said he was done. This is a complete scam and worthless. I had taken the time to remove all my vent covers so he would have easy access and he never touched them. Horrible customer service and rope-E-dope scheme attempts to get in your house with a coupon to convince you to spend hundreds of $$. Will never use again. read more

We recently moved into a rental home that smelled so bad of cigarette smoke. We were able to get the smell somewhat out of the house and then we turned our air on. What do you know all the smoke came right back into the house through the vents... Oye! Which led us on a hunt for an air vent cleaning service. We found Duct Squads through yelp and thought we would give them a try. We called and they had an opening for the next week but I explained my urgency and if anyone cancelled we wanted their spot. Sure enough, someone cancelled and they were able to get to our house earlier than expected. Yah! Two guys showed up, and immediately put a covering over their shoes when they came into the house. They counted up all the vents and gave us a quote which seemed reasonable and then they got to work. Within about 2 hours all our vents were cleaned and it was amazing :) They also put something through our vents to help fight off the odor, among other things. They worked quickly and really went above and beyond to clean the vents and the vent coverings. During their time, a kitchen light was accidentally broken. We are all human and these things happen and the workers were more than apologetic. At least you could tell that they try to do good work and felt really bad about a mistake. Duct Squads went above and beyond to make sure that the light was replaced and I didn't have to worry about a thing. They really made the light their problem and I appreciated it so much since I don't know how to replace a light fixture. About a month ago I had odor and black mold in the system , I have 2 girls who are extremely allergic , I didn't know how to make it stop , one of my friends told me I should check my ducts , thought I'll give duct squad a chance ... Two nice technicians came to my house and inspected the system , they cleaned out each vent and show me with a cool video cam the aftermath! It was amazing ! Duct squad has looked at three properties for me over the years. I've gotten estimates to perform the cleaning and coating for three homes. Based on the amount of work and the size of it, the pricing was inconsistent but the service seem to be on par. Duct Squad was great! Showed up on time and gave me an honest review of my home's ventilation system and dryer vent to include pictures of how my vent in the attic looked like in it's present state. Lior was great, very professional, and showed me everything that needed to be done as well as providing me an "after" picture of my dryer vent to show the difference. Service is good but charges are excessive. They give you a base charge of $125.00 pre inspection. Upon inspection, they raised the charge to double. They were on location for less than an hour. Again the, the service was good, but there's nothing exclusionary or special about what they offer. I found another company that does exactly the same for the agreed $125.00. They are scheduled to do the remainder of my rent houses. You can only skin the sheep once. I'd suggest just sheering next time. read more
