Put down drop cloths, vacuumed and left barely any traces of any mess. Let's face it, if you get insulation it is MESSY. You can't expect absolute perfection but from watching the guys work and how messy and dirty it got, I am absolutely surprised at the care they took to clean up afterward. What was nice was that the guys were talkative in giving advice and tips and feedback for insulating and making my home more efficient. They explained the material they used, why they were doing what they did. The lead guy even called the RISE engineer over to question the plan in one of the areas of my house; and the RISE engineer agree to modify per the insulator's advice.
