I arrived in Albuquerque this evening, and somehow punctured a hole in the sidewall of one of my tires. It was too late to go to a tire store, so I used my roadside assistance to change my tire. I'm 66 and disabled and traveling from Phoenix to Missouri, so I had no local resources. Digger's Road Assist was dispatched and arrived in around 20 minutes. I needed a jump start at the Route 66 RV Park which is about 20 miles out of town. Geico sent Sergio to the wrong location. He had to leave there and then come to my location. Had I been Sergio, making what little I think he makes off these calls, I might have been upset about the time and driving it took. He arrived apologetic but still smiling, polite, and professional. He quickly jumped my car and even pulled the stuck pin on my tow equipment that I had not been able to release. Sergio is the number one reason Duggers is getting a great review. Called for a tow at 10:30 pm. Was called immediately back by dispatch who said they would have someone out in 30 minutes. Got a call back at 11:28 telling me they stop doing tows at 11:30pm which is not what they advertise (their website says they have 24/7/365 service. I was told lies about how we had cancelled them ( we had not ) got 4 total guys from the driver who repeatedly blamed us, the owner, or anyone else he could think of. No, he's dropping off a vehicle. (Lie, truck was empty.). He will finish his paperwork and then move it. "How long will that be?" He'll get to it when he's done. The correct answer is. My first experience with road service from Duggers was not great but my second experience was. In fact it was more like 2.5 experiences. Let me explain... I had a car issue on the weekend and called my provider for road assistance. I wanted the pickup the next day but 10 minutes later a flat bed truck came and the driver rang my bell. While I did not want service then (and I am not sure who was to blame) I appreciated the rapid response. Then sure enough, the following morning I was up and waiting for my clock to show 7:30 - the pre-arranged pick up time and lo and behold at 7:05 the driver was there. I explained that the mechanic shop might not be open yet so I gave the driver a note for the shop along with my keys and 30 minutes later the shop called to speak with me and said my baby was there. The WORST service!!!!!!!! This company has been dispatched through Travelers insurance. Originally it says 60-90 minutes wait. Waited for two hours, called them the girl was very rude. Told me they have 100's of calls and not enough people and it will be another 45 minutes at least. I explained to her that we were stranded and I had children with me and it was super hot. She could careless. Waited 55 minutes called again just to hear from another rude woman that I just I need to wait. They are too busy. Explained to her that my kids started getting sick from the heat. She just yelled at me and told me I need to wait. By then I have been waiting three and a half hours!!!!!!!! Needless to say one of my kids got heat stroke and I had to call 911. Thank God my kids are ok now but it was very very scary. Someone rolled a boulder onto Coors near La Orilla nw on Tuesday night. Destroyed my tire. Lugs were on so tight I needed roadside service. Spent $100 in diagnostics at the dealership for them to tell me "new" battery was bad. 2nd guy dropped in the battery, left the hood open and just left, 3rd guy was rude. While entering my subdivision in Enchanted Hills New Mexico Friday afternoon around 3:30pm December 2023 a Duggers tow truck was backing into a residencial driveway and was blocking the road so through traffic could not advance. I asked the driver to move back a foot to allow me to go by, he said he didn't have to when I said he couldn't block off the road, a public road. I ultimately backed up against traffic behind me and found another route. I called Duggers and was told basically the same thing. I called DOT who informed me they don't regulate commercial drivers, hummmm? I called Rio Rancho Public Safety who said they could tell a private company, whom they don't have a business relationship with, what to do. Does this should like a load of BS to anyone else? ONE star because this app requires it. Dugger's Road Service does NOT deserve even one star from me... It's been a MONTH since our very very bad & horrible experience with this towing company. They called today asking why the bad reviews? 1) Disrespectful, rude & dishonest employees who lie to their boss to cover their ass for bad service! 2) Be honest about the Estimated Time of Arrival! 3) Don't accept calls for services that you can NOT deliver in a timely manner! The customer suffers when you choose quantity over quality!!! Instead of taking care of your customer, you made us more stressful on an already stressful day! And your employees made excuses rudely for the shitty service. They left us stranded for hours.... They told us the ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) would be just another 15-20 minutes more. We were told this over and over. More like hours... in the heat that caused a really bad bloody nose! Stepped away from the vehicle to clean up so no one was standing by the vehicle when the driver FINALLY showed up to tow it. The employee took off!!!!!! The driver would not stop even after running & begging him to stop. He kept driving away! And yes, he did see... After explaining all that happened to us to this curious employee. They began reading their notes from the driver of this company that told his boss that his life was threaten. How can anyone threaten someone who never even got out of the truck?! My car broke down on the way home after picking my daughter up from school today. I suffer from chronic migraines and happened to be having one today, as well as fibromyalgia which makes me incredibly sensitive/intolerant to heat. My daughter is ASD and also very heat sensitive/intolerant. We called for roadside assistance and received a text that Duggars would arrive between 5:15 and 5:45. I got my daughter in out of the heat and called for a ride. My ride had just showed up around 4:55 when I headed out to unload my car and I saw the Duggars truck in the lot. I walked over and said hi, no response. He had ear buds in. He finally turned around and acknowledged me asked what happened and I told him. He put the ear bud back in until he asked for the key. I got stuff out, but forgot I had something in the back as I have also been moving. I told him I needed the key to open the back. He wouldn't take his ear buds out to listen to me. I repeated I needed something from the back and it could only open with the key. He walked to the back with the key, grabbed the handle and pulled - proceeding to pull the handlebar off. Then just looked at me and handed me the key and the handlebar. I dropped the handlebar on the ground and proceeded to open the back to get what I needed as I started crying. He asked if I was okay and I told him he just broke the back of my vehicle which had just broken down. He then said he wasn't going to be treated like this and wouldn't do my tow. I could call for someone else. I asked if he was kidding. I said I have a daughter who is on the spectrum and we have already been waiting nearly an hour in 100 degree heat for a tow, that he broke my vehicle and now he wasn't even going to do his job!?!? He proceeded to scream and curse calling me a 8itch and saying the effing vehicle should have been unloaded before he even got there. Though the entirety of what I took out took 2 minutes. I said so you can scream and curse but I can't say you broke my vehicle which you did? I called Duggar's and they said they'd send another driver but I would have to wait. To which I said I would be doing a Yelp review because of how their driver acted and now I have to wait even longer; they put me on hold, returned and said all their drivers were busy and they would not be able to do the tow. They left me waiting over 2 hours and then without any communication, just dropped the order to assist me. When I called to get an eta, the first time I was told it would be 30 min. Over an hour later, the second time I called, I was told no one was even dispatched to me yet. As a woman alone in a new state, stranded and getting dark, I was concerned no one was going to show up to assist me. This company was rude over the phone, terrible customer service and clearly does not value a woman's safety. I give them ZERO STARS!! My vehicle had broke down and my insurance called them to come out and tow my vehicle. I did tell my insurance I had myself and a passenger! We will need to ride with the driver of the tow truck. It was winter and very cold that day. The driver had an attitude from the start he was two hours late!!!!! He said that their policy was not to take passengers in the truck !!! I was very upset !!! The nearest place to take shelter from the cold was Starbucks ! We had our sons truck break down today and we called Duggers to come flatbed it to our location. They were very accommodating sending a very nice and helpful man named Country. He put the truck which is lifted already up on the flatbed and dropped it off for us. He worked really hard due to the truck being in a parking lot and the front wheels wouldn't turn. I am letting you know what happened because I ended up not going back to work that day because of what happened, and the man they sent was not very good at customer service, which made a distressing situation more so. I did not get the tow truck that was promised. A van showed up to put my spare tire on. Because my spare tire was no good, your office had to get another tow truck out and it didn't arrive until 3 p.m. I might have gotten back to work if the tow truck showed up the first time at 12:45 p.m. Secondly, the Dugger's man made some snide comment about my bad driving immediately when he arrived, kind of a smart alec remark to me. Then he was dismissive of my need for further assistance after he told me my spare wouldn't stay inflated. Then he drove away without even saying goodbye. When I said that I would have to call back for a tow truck, he said yes. That was it. I was shocked at his dismissive attitude towards me. I was stuck in a parking lot downtown, with transients coming and going doing who knows what. I walked back to work after the tow company, Road Runner, was going to take an hour and a half to arrive. Very upset with them. My insurance called them to tow my car 7 miles from the repair shop to my home. After nearly 2 hours, they texted me to see if the car was here. I said no. The insurance company called Duggars and they said that the car was here. Then Duggars called with the name Duggers on the Caller ID. Turned out they left the car on my street with the key in it. The witch I talked to said the driver couldn't find the house. I guess he is blind, as my address is painted on the curb and I have big ceramic numbers on the front of the house. She claimed he called me and I didn't answer. She gave me the area code for his phone, which was for Hawaii. I said the name on that call was Forrest Gump. I didn't answer thinking that it was a spam call. I told her that Forrest Gump was an idiot in a film. She blew up and said "did you just call me an idiot?" I said "no." She hung up while I was still talking. What kind of service and treatment is this? OMG, will never use them again. Fortunately the car was not stolen. Awful service all around. The driver was two hours late, upon arrival he could not find the keys after the Duggers dispatch instructed me to place them under the driver side mat. The driver left then returned 15 minutes later after not finding them. Upon loading my car(off a straight drive way) it was scraped on a neighbors car, leaving paint missing on both vehicles. I contacted a manager "John" who took over a month to finally assess the damage himself; he downplayed the scrape and tried to ignore the neighbors damage completely, he then recommend a body shop for the estimate. The shop sent the estimate on 6/20/18. My calls and texts have been ignored since. My attorney and insurance will handle it from here out. I will never use this second hand company again. read more

My Mother In Law got into an unfortunate accident that required a tow truck to remove the car- she had a Roadside Assistance Service from Ford which I called, initially believing that it was nice to have a professional company, and they even provided an app so I could show the tow truck driver where we were (a school parking lot) This was 9 O'Clock at night. An hour later, no tow truck, and the app doesn't let me log in to see what's going on. I call the tow company directly, and they inform me that their driver is an hour out. This is 10. We wait. At 11; I call again. You guessed it, Truck is still an hour out. You know what, if you don't know if you can get a driver to your customer, take a pass on the business and inform the customer that they should contact another service. Midnight. Still no truck. I call Ford Service to see if they have an alternate vendor, after all, I don't want to be charged twice. No, they can't send another vendor without canceling the first...well, I don't want to lose my place in line in case there just happens to be a Thursday Night Tow Truck rally that's keeping everyone busy. I call Discount Towing. 'Yes sir, we are 20 minutes out.' Ruben (I hope that's right) with Discount shows up in 10 Minutes. Ruben gets out, surveys the damage, and has the car up on his truck in under 5 minutes. He charges me less than the original Ford Service, so of course, I tipped him Thank you Discount Towing.
