My Tesla got a flat while in Albuquerque, called Tesla roadside assistance at 1pm mst, who then contracted Macy's towing, Macy's quoted the Tesla agent a truck was available right away and it would be 15 minutes for the tow to arrive, a service appointment was booked given the time frame the agent was quoted at the same time they booked the tow, I was listed as a will wait for tire service which was to be done the same business day, after waiting several hours, the less than stellar tow driver finally contacted me at 4:30pm stating he would be ready to pick up my car in 45 minutes he had just woke up from a nap and seen that he had to tow me but still needed to eat something first, when he arrived he seemed under the influence asking if I still wanted a tow and babbling on, at this point the service center was closed causing me to be stranded until the next afternoon for what was to be a same day service. Would not recommend Macy's towing to my worst enemy. The hour and a half worth of sentry mode footage I recorded of him sitting in the tesla lot after dropping my vehicle sure makes him and macy's tow company look some kind of way. read more

Vehicle broke down on interstate on a Saturday night. Couldn't get any tow company more local to my area to answer a phone and Macy's answered right away. Despite being 20 miles away the response time from my phone call was under an hour probably closer to 30 minutes. Price was very reasonable. Driver was professional and courteous. Fabulous experience with this company. Cannot speak to cost, as the tow was covered by my insurance. But I sure was grateful when Andrés showed up to tow my flat tired car off the side of I-40 with 18 wheelers whizzing by 3 feet away. Not only did he promptly and competently change the flat in a local parking lot, but because I was curious he narrated every step with clear instructions with details like, this is the part you put the jack under, and, you tighten the lug nuts in a star pattern. In the past, I used another tow company for this particular trip by scheduling the tow, Macy's didn't seem to offer a schedule option but after I explained the circumstances, Macy's understood and was prompt, professional and super fast. My vehicle was inoperable and needed to be towed to my mechanic. I called a couple other places for a tow on Super Bowl Sunday. Macy's showed up on time, when they said they would. In Albuquerque, when a business answers the phone, shows up on time, is courteous and professional, it's rare. George was awesome! My truck blew a head gasket while I was towing a trailer, and they got the tow truck out to me very quickly. Then when it turned out that their truck couldn't tow my trailer because of the shape of the hitch, they got a second truck out to tow the trailer but still charged me only what they'd originally quoted, and went out of their way to make sure the trailer got backed in to my driveway just right. Macy's Towing came through for us in a big way. We had a flat on I-40 at 9pm at night, and tried for 2 hours to get someone to come out and help us out. But, when i called Macy's, someone (i think it was Andreas) from Macy's a) answered the phone; b) said he could come out within an hour (music to our ears!) c) communicated with us within that hour as to his status and d) arrived within roughly 45 minutes - after servicing another customer's flat tire. Andreas changed our tire efficiently and expertly and got us on our way. He was kind, courteous, and i cannot say enough about how thankful we were that we got in touch with Macy's. tl;dr - they can be pretty good, but they're not consistent about it. The first couple of times I used these folks, I was pretty pleased - they were there when they said they'd be, and the prices were reasonable. This morning was a different story. :/ I needed a tow to arrive at the garage by 11:00, so I arranged with Macy's to arrive at my place at 10:00, figuring that'd be plenty of leeway; I'd rather be a bit early than a bit late, anyway. The driver called me at 10:05 to tell me he was just dropping off a car, and that he'd be there shortly. 40 minutes later, just as I was ready to call a different towing company, he arrived. He did a fair job of the tow itself, but I was 15 minutes late for my appointment because Macy's arrived 45 minutes later than they'd promised. The previous tow I'd gotten from them was 3/4 of the way across town - from Carlisle to Tramway, and ran a bit high, but not outrageous at $75. This morning, about half that distance (From Tramway to San Pedro), they hit me for $65 - decidedly on the high end, fee-wise. On time, but a bit high, I could endure. 45 minutes late but with a good price, I'd find tolerable. 45 minutes late and paying 40% more than I'd expected, and I'll be shopping around for a different towing service if I need one again. read more

I recently had some heavy car troubles and Macy's Towing was one of the few companies in the area operating on a Saturday. They were pretty slammed that day, but I was able to make an appointment for the exact time I wanted. Before I could even ask, they gave me a quote of a flat fee, which was awesome - no surprise surcharges. Everything throughout the whole experience went smoothly. They called me 30 minutes prior to double check on my appointment time and pickup location. They arrived on time and got me to my maintenance appointment on time as well. Also, when we arrived they waited for me to go in and check to make sure I would be able to get help and wouldn't need to tow my car some place else. Fantastic and friendly service all around. I highly recommend these guys! One last thing: they do have a card reader for credit cards, but that charges a couple dollars on tax, so pay in cash if you have it. read more

Just a word of warning. Last night at 3:00am Macy's towed a truck that ran in to ones neighbors truck and took out a fence and car in another neighbors yard. Macy's towed it before the cops showed up. Must have been a friend of the tow truck driver. Not smart towing a drunk hit and run. read more

I hired this company to tow my vehicle and when the my arrived they seemed very professional and ensured that my car would be in good hands, and to contact them if there are any issues because they would take care of it. Well that was all talk because when my car got to the mechanic it had a shattered back window. I called the towing company and they claimed it wasn't them and it must of been broken before. I think I would of noticed a shattered back window. No help they didn't even consider helping to fix this issue. All talk no customer service, stay far away from this tow company. read more

The tow guy safely loaded and unloaded my vehicle, and he helped me push it into the parking spot! The office took a little long to get back to me about a receipt as I later realized I could get insurance reimbursement, but I appreciate the great customer service and professionalism. Jose really helped me a ton. I can't thank him enough for his help. Macy's towing assisted me after I called my Mazda Roadside Assistance hotline while I was 40 miles outside of Albuquerque. The roadside assistance estimated a 50 minute wait time, but Jose was able to come within 40 minutes. He was courteous enough to let me settle in my son into his tow truck before handling my car. I felt very safe in his truck while they towed my Mazda 3 to the local dealership. He was very informative and friendly. Though my assistance was fully covered, he mentioned his inexpensive pricing for regular towing during the day and at night. He was detailed in collecting all the proper information for my vehicle and was helpful in dropping my car to the dealership. We dealt with two of their drivers and they were both fantastic! We had the unfortunate luck of breaking down on the interstate near Moriarty as we were passing through on our way to New York. Macy's helped us get our vehicle to a hotel for the night, then to a shop the next day. They were extremely friendly and easy to work with. They went above and beyond for us which was really appreciated considering our unfortunate circumstance. I highly recommend Macy's towing. My truck needed to be towed out of a parking garage and none of their towing trucks met the height clearance to enter the garage. So two of their works had to push my truck out of the garage from the 3rd floor. They never complained and told me no matter what they'd get my truck out. I don't know many people that would do that. I'll try to keep this as short as possible but we had moved our daughter from Albuquerque to Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff for the Fall semester. Uneventful trip on the way there and we did get her moved in alright but it went into the evening and so we left Flagstaff at 8:00pm. About 50 miles out of Albuquerque - at 12:30am, the alternator seized and we lost all power and were stranded at the side of the road on I-40. We have roadside assistance through our insurance (another story) so we called them. They wanted to tow us to Grants where we'd wait until morning to figure out how to get the car fixed in the morning - no thank you, very much. Over the next 3 hours, we negotiated a tow back to Albuquerque and they stated they could not find anyone from Albuquerque willing to tow us but they'd try one more. It was Macy's who immediately took the call at 3:00am and came out to get us. Jose called us when he left Albuquerque, gave us an ETA and also told us he'd call again when he got there. It was 3:45am on a weekend when he arrived. Turns out he tried to take the call around 12:30am but was denied so he went to bed after having just finished another tow. He got back up and went out to save us. What a gentleman and just straight-up hard working person. He went about his business and got us home at 4:30am w/o much sleep. That's a dedication one will only ever see amongst the best of us. And he charged us way less than I thought he should have. I'd just like to start by saying that Macy's towing service was extraordinary. Jose went out of his way to ascertain that my boyfriend and I (who were stuck on the 6th floor of a parking garage with a car that had a dead battery) could find some sort of alternate method of finding our way home with the car. He walked all the way upstairs with us to see if we could change the car into neutral, or if his personal jump starter could be of any help. Ultimately, the car didn't need towing, and he got our car to start up using his better quality cables (take into account that we had tried to get another car to help us an hour prior with no success). I had called State Farm for roadside assistance, and they estimated a 45 minute to 1 hour wait, however, Jose reached us within a prompt 15 to 20 minutes, which was amazing, since we had been stuck for almost 3 hours. If anyone ever needs to contact insurance companies, towing companies, etc. I STRONGLY recommend just going straight to Macy's Towing LLC. It will save you SO much time and stress, I promise. Having been held on the phone with my insurance company for almost one hour, waiting for them to find a towing company, I seriously recommend you just give Macy's a call, and they'll have someone out there to help you no matter the time (mind you this all happened at around 12:30 AM). Macy's Towing did such a great job towing my car. The front end on my vehicle is so low and they took extra care to ensure it did not get scratched. They even used wood pieces as a precaution. I had to use them twice and they sent a flatbed each time which is a necessity with my car. I highly recommend them!! read more
